I was helping my client inquire about the debt that she had with collections mind you because she was trying to make payments or set up a payment plan and every question she asked and the more details she asked i could also see a shift in demeanor changed. Nicole and Nick both because a little rude to a person trying to fix something on their credit and has legit concern and reasonable questions. I stood by as she made 3 calls to this agency and they were rude to her and i wouldnt say judgemental but did not express a willingness to help or to provide the info she was asking about correctly and after the 3rd call to them I heard my client ask hey were going to ask if i needed anything before attempting to end the call. Im noticing that she feeling the same way im feeling about the conversation like they have many people that may call and are not looking to pay anything but My client just want to ask the questions that she felt she needed to move to the next steps as far a paying or making payments. but why did they tone change why did they talk the way they did why are these people working if the don't know how to control they temper or they tone to make the person on the other line feel comfortable. For a person. My Client that feels defeated everything time she's trying to do the right thing or make better decisions in her life there is conversation and people like Nicole and Nick that get frustrated with a caller that makes the person calling feel unheard and misunderstood like she did something wrong or said something wrong. Working with mental health I understand how people with anxiety can hold back from saying what they feel and asking questions that others may see as stupid. But in reality its only to get clarity. Im disappointed not in just Nicole but her supervisor Nick as a witness to the calls its sad that after a few conversations with you my client. She questioned herself like she should have not asked any questions or that many questions. But I reinsured her that there is nothing wrong with asking questions when trying to gain understanding of your options and trying to do something good for yourself like get something off your credit that's effecting their current life

Since this incident, I have begun receiving SPAM calls on this number. But never before. And this is for a medical debt I paid some time before. So, add illegal harassment for paid debt. Ryan Kilyanek: Unprofessional & rude. On three occasions They've identified themselves as a debt collector before verifying who they're speaking do. When I've offered to pay the bill they state they can't provide email documentation because they don't have computers. They also state that they're part of the Henry Ford Health System.

Tamara Watson: This company keeps calling and hanging up on me. Today I got fed up and called back. They refused to tell me the nature of the call or the Industry of work they belonged to. I had to Google them and came across this. I don't know who sells information to them but to continually call and hang up on me is childish and unprofessional.

Shari Dawoud: Very rude staff. The First Lady I spoke to on the phone kept interrupting me, and I stayed patient. She begins to tell me I’m rude and she’s transferring me to her supervisor once I tell her that I never signed any documents. The supervisor gets on the phone andI told her that I lost my job due to COVID so I could not finish out the payment arrangement that was originally agreed upon, I knew the phone call would end badly because she had an attitude the minute the phone call started. Then she begins to say “well you get a stimulus check coming” I cut her off and told her I am about to lose my house and that a debt collection is the least of my concerns and that they cannot have my stimulus check the supervisor then says “you need to calm down, I was just giving you options” I told her “I know you’re giving me options and I’m stopping you in your tracks so you don’t try saying I agreed to something that I do not agree to”. The supervisor then snaps at me saying I need to calm down, I told her I was calm and if I were angry she would definitely know about it. I told them they CANNOT take my stimulus check being I need it badly. I then receive an email stating my “agreed payment arrangements” and the dates for the arrangements are until feb 25th 2021, and this was AFTER the supervisor said they’d stop the recurring payments, so what agreed payment arrangements? I clearly stated for them to stop the payments. I clearly said on the phone I have 0 money to pay this debt right now. The call was placed at 8:41am on the 29th of December and my name is Shari Coulter. I am putting all of this on the review so IF they try something shady as to take my stimulus check or to charge my account any longer I have some proof. I don’t trust this company with their shady employees. I have never been talked to so disrespectfully. They act like I took money out of their pocket directly and stole food of their child’s table. Get an attitude adjustment, you just work for a company who buys debts, you are literally nothing more than a debt collector.

J H: If I could give negative stars I would. I keep receiving phone calls from them (10 this week alone and it’s only Thursday). If I pick up the phone and say hello they hang up me. If I let it go to voicemail they don’t leave a message. When I call the number back they won’t give you any information, they just keep saying they need your name and phone number so they can look up your account. Finally after I called back multiple time one of the operators said that I was calling merchants and medical a company that does multiple things. They said I needed to give them my information so they could tell me why they are calling. I asked if they need my information why do they keep hanging up on me when I answer. She also hung up on me. They are very rude, and disrespectful. They will never get my cooperation if they continue to behave in this manner. The operators need major retraining.

Sherri Foster: My phone blocked the call for being a likely scam twice. I called back to find out what kind of business they were and the guy kept repeating the company name and wanted my name. I asked what kind of business they do, his response was "we're merchant and medical credit corporation, we do a lot of things. Give me your name and I'll find out why we called you". My response "Sorry my phone blocked your call as scam likely, if you can't tell me what kind of business your company is, I'm not giving you my name". Then I was hung up on. Definitely not a good company.

Putting down wrong statements and hung up on me this morning because I did not want to provide them my personal information before I understood the issue. Not sure why this company still can survive in this planet. Do all the debt collectors need to be mean and rude in order to do their job? I will place a complaint to one of their customers - Henry Ford Health System and try to understand why they are using this terrible service.

Alex Ray couldn’t have been more of a help to pay off my debt due to my severe gambling addiction which I have gotten help for. I have been on a payment plan and discounted and officially no longer in debt. Feel really grateful for Alex and her being so kind and working with me along the way. Thank you EXF.

I spoke with Mr. Johnson and he helped me get my account set on a payment I could afford and didn't demand the balance. He was understanding to my situation. Considering the nature of this business they have been the most pleasant agency I have dealt with so far.

Nathan Pahl: Called on a debt I was looking to pay off or have settled. Received a call on my work line, which I can't say I was super thrilled about, but that is their job. Collector I spoke with (Jason Robert) was very friendly, outgoing, and reasonable collector. Pushed where he could to collect the debt but not at all overbearing. all around great experience. Gave me several options to repay the debt and gave me other options as well on how to get what I wanted out of the end result. (settlement with deletion to credit report or paid in full on time payments change)I cannot speak for the business as a whole, but as far as who I was dealing with, about as good as it could get with trying to deal with debt.

Tammy Capps: Bob Johnson is a very rude man. I was trying to pay off my debt with them and he wouldn't even listen to what i had to say. I was trying to get a total on what i had to pay and he proceeded to cut me off every time i was trying to talk. He was yelling at me and said he dont give a crap about me or my life and that all he wanted was the money i owed to him. If you are a business looking for a place to use for collecting debts Do Not use this place. They are not friendly at all wont even listen to you and put you down for having life struggles. Not a place that i would recommend at all.
