Amy A: If I can give 0 stars I would. This place makes Wayne county look like saints. I have an application that has never been processed for over 40 days and turn around time should be 30 days. Seems like they go to work to do nothing and tell people to wait due to their laziness. Not sure what they are getting paid to do honestly.

Amanda J: Such a broken system. I've spoke. To 4 people in the last 2 weeks. 1 out of the 4 was only polite. He was a gentleman that has worked here for 20 years. All the other "representatives" act like they don't have to provide customer service due to the nature of their job. They know as well as we do that if they are nasty, rude and inconsiderate to us nothing will happen, for 2 reasons. 1 - there is a staffing shortage and 2 - they can just blame it on the client, saying they are just complaining because they are denied. I truly hope these calls are recorded.

All the jobs in Flint MI pay EXTREMELY LOW WAGES. HOW DOES DHHS EXPECT PEOPLE TO BE ABLE TO PAY BILLS, MEDICAL NEEDS, AND FOOD WITH AN AVERAGE OF $10/HR? THIS IS RIDICULOUS. AT LEAST HAVE SOME ACCOUNTABILITY AND APOLOGIZE FOR HOW YOU HAVE FAILED THIS COMMUNITY!!!

Von Villain: Very disappointed signed up for their covid recertification for housing was just informed that they stopped all applications to process the newer application that just went through they said I have to wait and I've been waiting for a very long time they told me it was going to be 4 to 6 weeks I'm not happy whatsoever it was really hard to get in touch with them there was no communication whatsoever this just happened all of a suddenly hopefully you guys that is waiting for assistance please call up there and see what your status is this was not fair at all there's a lot of families that struggling and is depending on that help and they need to hire more people or something because this makes no sense whatsoever now I just don't know what to do who should I go to to get help? I'm very disappointed with the overall services the lack of communication and everything else

It was like -20 outside for like a month. My husband was only one working. making $318 a wk. Full time MTA driver....i had just lost my job due to transportation bc of weather. Our daughter was 14 at the time....I told the guys at DHS. U have the truth, the numbers they dont lie...u even said it urself...its NOT THERE!!" Long story short....DHS refused to help amd took their precious time getting me the denial letter so GCCARD could send the Promissory Note & connection wouldnt b disrupted...but they let it get shut off for the entire nite.....i should have sued honesty. My child could have died. Im from KY i don't have family or friends ya kno. All we have is Christ. And Christ lead Us to GCCARD.......
