Brian Hobson: This is the most disorganized retail store I've ever been in. Every aisle, just about, has inventory scattered throughout and you can barely fit a cart down the walkways between the aisles. Seems like most of the products we buy are out of stock on the shelves but we can usually find it in the boxes that are stacked up throughout the store. I've never seen a store with so much inventory not put on the shelves. It also seems like the workers here are not very friendly and if they appear friendly at first, it's normally short lived and you soon realize it's not friendliness being displayed, it's just passive aggressivenes.

Nate Childs: So I usually hate putting bad reviews on places especially local places that are always so convenient to use, but there really is no excuses as to why they had the store closed to “remodel” the entire store interior and they still have 100 carts laying around with inventory filling up aisles that should be kept in the back. So on top of having to go through an obstacle course just to find something so small as ramen…now the entire store is changed around so it’s even harder to find products, the workers are super lazy and just don’t seem to care at all. There’s trash everywhere it’s just not professional and it’s not customer friendly at all…the lines take forever for these workers to scan a few items and bag them. Absolute laziness I wouldn’t be surprised if this store was closed down from neglect.
Tina R: A convenient place to run in and grab a few things. They are very short-staffed though. There are always boxes stacked up in the aisles making it difficult to maneuver around the store. There is always a line at the check-out. Employees are friendly.
Elizabeth Parnell: The manager could have been a little nicer. This is not my first experience with this store. I went in the Dollar General on Pierson and MLK the cashier was rude. I wanted to pay some cash & some debit. He took it upon himself to charge My card want he wanted. It was a line that's y I really didn't just wait & tell him a few More things. Not all of their employees are rude but they need to send an General Manager in there to check out their customer service skills. 😡😡
Kylie Allen: I went to this location for the first time in months. The employees were nice but I went in with a 12 item list and left with 2 of them. I could not walk though 4 of the 5 isles I needed to get to. Boxes and carts blocking aisles to the point you cannot walk the aisle, let alone get a cart through. Clothing aisle had clothes and hangers all over the floor getting run over. Might as well hire someone with the amount of items that aren’t being purchased.

Dawn's Dogs: The one thing I like most is the employees! They are always very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. They also seem to be happy to be there and never fail to greet you when you arrive. The selection of merchandise is really good and things are pretty much always in stock. Although the isles do tend to be somewhat cluttered with carts of inventory, employees are always working hard to get it put in its place. The prices here are considerably less than similar businesses too. Last but not least, they have a really, really good inventory of groceries, including lots of healthy choices, such as all natural peanut butter, and almond and soy milk for those of us who are lactose intolerant.

That's why I gave it 3 stars, The reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because of employees and there was a line that you didn't even know where it started or ended! I walked in the store I tried to find an employee there was books and pencils and pens and papers laying everywhere inventory just laying on the ground The store was just completely not picked up or stocked right. And on top of it all they put a trainee on the register with no help and when they finally called for help it took about 20 minutes for another worker that knew how to use the registers to come up and help there were two drawers! The other one the person was stocking shelves instead of picking up stuff that was just laying around everywhere I couldn't find what I wanted and for about 10 minutes of really looking hard! All in all I would avoid this dollar general just because of the way it's ran. Who knows and 6 months from now or a year from now the staff will be more organized. 🤷😕

Kara Stevenson: I would give it zero if I could came to return a pair of pants that were never worn but we wrong size they claimed that they no longer sold the product so I couldn't return it (which I got a week before) I go back to look and the exact same product filled up half the wall. They lied to my face if its something else tell me that don't lie. I looked up return policy online and there is nothing saying I cant exchange the product.Update: went to the dollar general a few miles away and the lady kindly exchanged the product no problem.

Amber Worden: Okay I've lived near this store for 5 years now, first the good stuff, there is a long haired male employee (I think his name is Daniel? I might be wrong) anyway, he is seriously the best employee of any retail store I've ever been to. He always goes above and beyond always greats you, is always is smiling, super friendly and if I ever become a business owner I'm recruiting this kid! His customer service skills are top notch! The manager, a man with an accent is nice too. Now, the bad stuff, this store is a nightmare for someone with claustrophobia because there is barely ever room to move, always stock in every aisle, sometimes blocking items you came for. Also seems to be understaffed, lines in here can last forever. If they could keep the stock and lines under control it'd be great.

God's Chosen Children: I have to be totally honest, this Dollar General have long lines and only one cash register is open. The other cash register says "cash only" and it has been that way for months. And if someone ask if another employee can help on the other register they get an attitude. Also, when you try to talk to a manager they are either hidden in the back or unavailable. It was very upsetting as well when the manager had mistaken me for someone else and made me feel very uncomfortable. Kamaron had to tell the manager my real name instead of her being rude and calling me Lisa. I had my ID for my purchase, but after she assumed that I was another lady that they had mistaken me for I didn't feel comfortable given her my ID at the time. I do understand we are in Covid 19 and we all have bad days, but this day was unacceptable. Other customers agreed with me as well. I wish I could give one employee (Le Le) 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟stars on her own for her professionalism and hard work at all times, but I will say THANK YOU!!

All the products was on the floor and not even on the shelves it was like someone went thru and took thier arm and ran it down the aisle knocking everything off the shelves onto the floor. You literally had to walk thru all the stuff on the floor it was so disappointing and dirty and I just couldn't believe what I was seeing never seen any Dollar Store like this before! Someone from corporate needs to send someone to this store to get it cleaned up and maybe even give it a makeover and clean it up all nice and get it back in order! I think it's in a convenient place and nice to have at this location because it help save us on a few things he had forgotten to bring for the beach on Memorial Day! Someone just needs to come and clean it up and get it back in shape and in order !!!

Chris Carr: it is filthy inside, no one really works there and the worst part is that it is brought a lot of traffic through the neighborhood with people stealing packages off of porches and anything else they can steal as they go back to their places they walk.I caught this guy stealing packages todayhis girlfriend lives at 306 Vernon Avenue-just south of Robert T (girlfriends mom made him give them back she has good people)
Shanyce Broadnax: Check your food here. Yes management is great and they have most then other dollar generals but beware this store has always had a problem with old food. ! I just got crackers from there yesterday November 24 and the crackers were dated back to march. Also check your cold items from fridge those tend to get left behind as well.

Bill: If I could give the store on Fenton rd a 0 star I would. The store is straight up gross, most of the employees are rude, one of them actually works the register with her personal phone at her ear, not saying a word to the customer. Nobody greets coming in or going out, the floors are nasty, you can't get down any isles and if you make it through one, it's a tight squeeze with all the stock they have on the floor. I refuse to go into a place like that so I go to one that's a little further but, it's worth it. This store needs to be closed for a few days to get it right again. But, we all know that won't happen.Here it is 5 months later and the store has not changed at all. Tried going in there Wednesday for the first time in that 5months, they were closed for "Stocking" until Friday. Well, I went there on Saturday and wow, it looked worse than before. This store needs to close for good. Horrible employees, disgusting floors, empty shelves with all the stock still in the boxes by the shelf it goes on. I refuse to give this place another shot. I hope someone higher up sees this. It's an embarrassment to the Dollar General name.

When I was checking out the lady in front of me said something to the cashier about it just sitting in the aisle. How dangerous it could be if left at room temperature. Cashier didn’t seem to concerned! 😳 I left and came back again (bout 30 mins) because I forgot something….. IT WAS STILL SITTING OUT!!!!!!!
Courtney Ramirez: I've been to this Dollar General before. I went two nights in a row. The two women in charge were very nice, especially the main one I dealt with. My husband and I thought they were closed. We got ready to drive away, but the woman motioned for us to come in, even though they were closing in 5 minutes. I was putting on gloves. She offered me a better pair. She was very kind and helpful. She offered to walk with me through the store to do price checks. I was overcharged on some vitamins. She mentioned the Michigan scanning error law which I've known about for years, but no employee at a store brought up to me when trying to get money back. She offered great customer service!

Mary K: 👎The store is absolutely filthy.👎 The checkout counter had dirt on it. When I mentioned it to the clerk. She said they clean it at night. All it woould have taken was a wet towel to wipe it off. We know whose not practicing the Covid19 guidelines. Randy Prater: Absolutely horrible, product everywhere. Nothing put away. Can't get to anything on the shelves due to racking setting everywhere. Store has been like this for a very long time
Christopher Dunning: This place is a disgrace and it has really gone downhill. About 75% of the aisles are blocked so you can’t even shop or find what you’re looking for. The shelves are damn near empty. There is clutter everywhere. I will not be shopping in this store anymore because it is just in poor condition. Save your self an anxiety attack, a headache, and a load of frustration by driving 5 minutes down the road to a better managed and well-maintained store on Richfield Rd.

Aisles that are COMPLETELY blocked off with carts that are overflowing with stock...shelves that are empty of product because it's all on the carts waiting to be emptied....Unkempt and absolutely no concern for the accessibility of customers with a handicapp.I feel so bad for the employees. I cannot imagine what it must be like working for an employer with zero work ethic. This place absolutely sucks.They had 1 person in the store working and a line wrapped around the candy/magazine rack. Ridiculous.

Sara Hunt: This store closes at 5pm! Absolutely annoying! When it is open the women are rude and rushed. I blame corporate for not hiring enough workers for this store. It's one of the few not in the hood in Genesee Co. And one of the nicer stores, to have hours of operation from 9-5 is absurd, most people don't get off work till 4-6pm. Whomever made the call to close at 5pm, must not understand hours of peek business.
