D J: Very professional, accommodating and everything was explained thoroughly. In and out in about an hour for a root canal under a crown. Worst part was the injections, which are made easier by the gum numbing gel used. In all seriousness, a crown is worse.

Skippy Reamer: I had a toothache for 6 days with minimal sleep. I was sent to Dr.Lindeman senior. I was already in pain and when he numbed me up, it was very painful. I was obviously crying and scared to say the least. He told me if I moved, the instrument may break and I would have to the emergency!! I felt like a car rather than a person. His bedside manner was NON-EXISTENT. Maybe a good dentist as far as his work but people are sometimes scared and in pain not to mention they've never met him before. I would NEVER recommend Dr.Lindeman senior!!!

Sherry Bowman: I was a little on edge about this visit as I had never had a root canal before. We have all heard stories but i pleasantly surprised! The entire staff was very calm and professional. Doctor was reassuring and explained everything. I had read the faq page and was worried about the use of the dental dam, as I'm a little clostrophobic. Ashleigh Pank: Pros:-They were able to schedule me a root canal appointment within two days of calling.-The front desk staff is extremely empathetic and caring.-My insurance was able to be applied and cost was less than other providers in the area $1,100 for routine root canal.-The younger Dr. Lindemann (the son) appeared to be gentle, empathetic, and generally concerned for his patients.Cons:-The older Dr. Lindemann (the father) was not empathetic and did not have a good bedside manner.-The numbing shots that he provided prior to root canal were done quickly and painfully. I asked him to stop for a brief moment so I could catch my break and his response was "we can't just stop because you want it to."- I had an asthma attack in the chair and was extremely anxious due to the painful injections and no one stayed by me to comfort me or asked to assist in finding my inhaler or offering O2. (side note: I am unfortunately used to receiving injections and have never had a reaction like this before).-During the procedure Dr. Lindemann would repeatedly drop heavy tools on my wind pipe and cause greater difficulty for me to breath.-Dr. Lindemann did not walk me through the procedure and anytime I would move due to a noise or etc. startling me he would reply by saying "don't move" in a condescending tone.(At the end of the appointment I reported his poor professional demeanor to the front desk staff and they apologized profusely for him. They also agreed that they have discussed his aggressive numbing procedures with him before due to other patients complaining of UNNECESSARY PAIN AND TRAUMA. I later thought, if he was so bothered by the way he treated me why wouldn't he contact me himself?Overall: I felt as if Dr. Lindemann did not care about my overall mental well-being and was not concerned with my physical health. I also discussed his behavior with my current dentist and she agreed that the son is more gentle and concerned with his patients overall health and that if anyone does need to attend this provider for care to see him over the father. Also, my dentist reported that they will no longer be referring patients to this facility.Would I return: NOWould I recommend: NO

Nacho Business: Was really nervous about having a root canal done, but the Dr. and staff made me very comfortable. The procedure was painless and over quickly, was like having a filling done, not a bad experience at all.Staff was welcoming and friendly, answered all my questions, and even called to check how I was feeling the next day.

I was given a same day appointment but not able to take it so they offered me a first thing the next morning appointment. The staff at this office is very kind and is willing to answer any question you have. Dr. Lindemann was amazing! I was a bit nervous about having a root canal but doctor was kind and talked to me about exactly what he would be doing. Great doctor and staff! Oh and I have no pain!

Steve: Root canal went great, I have extreme dental anxiety and the doctor/assistant (plus Nitrous oxide) was able to get me through the procedure. My permanent crown is on now and I've had no issues with that molar. Highly recommended.

Stacy Burkey: Dr. Gordon and his staff are absolutely wonderful! My son was referred for a root canal and they were able to get us in very quickly to help ease the pain my son was having. When I arrived the staff was super friendly, answering all of our questions and going above and beyond to help us out. I cannot recommend this office enough!!

Emily Jacobs: Such a terrible experience here. Had a root canal done at this office, a few months later I began having issues with the same tooth again. Sever sensitivity to heat and cold and not being able to chew on that side of my mouth due to how sensitive it was. I called the office to make an appointment to have it looked at and they told me they no longer take my insurance ( Blue Cross) and I would be responsible to pay out of pocket for any visits or work done moving forward. This was very frustrating that they would not work with me regarding the issues I was having with work they did. To top it off they told me If I wanted to make an appointment it would be over a month before I could get in even after I explained the pain I was having just trying to eat. So disappointed in the way this office conducts business.

Emma Stollman: I was referred here by my dentist since I needed a root canal and he couldn’t get me in for a few weeks. Dr. Gordon’s office called me the next day and set me up an appointment that week! The staff were very friendly and made sure I knew before anything started what my financial responsibilities would be, and throughout the entire root canal Dr. Gordon would make sure I was doing okay (my face is an open book! 😂) and overall am happy to have been serviced here. Plus, my mouth feels SO much better! Thank you!

Dane Urbanek: Terrible, VA scheduled this appointment and I drove over an hour to get there through construction and even called to let them know I would be 15min late. After a 75 mile drive, and then telling me before I even left it was ok I would be late, they tell me when I get there that I’ll have to reschedule. I’ll be finding a new dentist, you should too.

D G: Very nice endodontist & staff, but he said I needed an apico surgery for an absessed root canal, so on top of being scared and the financial part..I got in for the surgery a week later, for him to tell me, on second look, there's no infection & didn't need the surgery. Yes, I was so happy not to need it of coarse, confused tho as to why just a week before I needed surgery and had an infection. However, I would go to his office again! Hes very flexible, conversed with me on details about the surgery, also was very patient with me!

Michelle Holbrook: The only reason why this review gets two stars is because Dr. Gordon is great! The office staff on the other hand is EXTREMELY unprofessional. The ladies were gossiping and talking negatively about my daughters and I as if we were not sitting there. It was also embarrassing because there were at least three other people in the waiting room as well. We could all hear what was being said. The main lady that I spoke with was polite to my face, but she also participated in the discussion. Someone’s opinion about me, my children, or financial situation doesn’t matter much to me. However, it is very unethical to discuss it in an open office and waiting room.

Emma Jackson: The dental experience was good. However, when calling to seek help with a bill, Rachel at the front desk was beyond unpleasant. She was the most unprofessional person that I have ever dealt with in what is supposed to be a professional setting. Hanging up on your patients (this was clearly no accident), is about as unprofessional as you can get.

A root canal is nothing anyone looks forward to, but I was not in discomfort at anytime. I kept waiting for the "bad part"...but it never happened! Call me Hodgie: Let me just say I grew up without being taught good dental hygiene and my family couldn't afford it growing up and like many as an adult I was afraid of going to the dentist because maybe they would judge me or it would be so expensive it was out of reach.
