Lynette Lachut: My husband spoke with Jay several times about getting rid of the large amount of standing water we had in the backyard. The house was a new construction and was not properly leveled or finished when we moved in last November. The driveway was also not done correctly and left us with an uneven muddy mess whenever it rained.We hired Jay and Wes to help us with our problems and they both explained, in detail, what we needed and how they would fix it. When Jay and Wes arrived they got to work and after just one day there was a noticeable difference. Jay and Wes were faced with obstacles because it kept raining but they kept moving forward and now we have an elevated and level backyard and an elevated and level driveway. Thanks to you both, who did an exceptional job and exceeded our expectations. I give you guys a 10+ out of 10. Thanks Joe and Lynette Lachut

Troy Hiller: I contacted Harada Westesson last summer to have my in ground pool removed. They came out a demo’d everything from the steel around the pool, the pool house and surrounding cement. Within 4 days the pool was completely gone, topsoil and seeded like it was never there. Had grass growing in my yard with 2 weeks. Was amazed at the job they did. If you are thinking of getting rid of an unwanted pool these guys have all the equipment and expertise to handle the job.

In no time my pasture was up and ready to use. Recently, he has dug out a trench for electrical and waterlines that run out to my pasture. Shelly Lorenz: They tore up our driveway, laid down crushed asphalt, and corrected a water issue in our driveway for us. They did an awesome job. We are pleased with they're work.
davehd2009: In 2014 this company was doing work in Fenton Michigan and had cut a trench across the road and refilled it. They did not fill it completely and left a sharp right-angle edge on each side of the trench. I was traveling through the area, encountered the trench in my car. Being dark, I wasn't able to clearly see this trench and severely damaged two tires and a wheel requiring nearly $450 worth of repairs. I filed a police report and the officer also agreed that it was a hazard (not properly filled or marked). When a claim was filed I was told that they didn't believe me and denied the claim. I was out of work and could not afford an attorney. I could ill afford the costs to repair my car. This is a BAD company!!! Their attitude towards me was "tough sh**! Sue us!!" :-(

Rebecca McCarron: Waldorf was a life saver. Not only were they about $6000. Less than any other company we had quotes from they did a great job. Our field took 3 days, they seeded our lawn and came back with more dirt when some of it washed away.

John Nelson: After all was said and done we had an unexpected issue with my sewer main to the street. They had their person come through and snake my line and found out it needed replaced. The people helping me asked if they could check out the line and let us know what needed to be done to fix the situation. After explaining that the old line was in need of replacement we asked if they would be so kind as dig it up and we would do the work to replace it. God bless these owners because they went and replaced the damaged lines for us. They are a caring company that looks out for people and I can't give them enough praise.
MC Smith: Worst company to do business with. Put my inspection pipe in backwards. Cobbled up the kitchen drain. Said they didn't have the right parts.

Do you considered being informed with proper communication a total waste of time? Have you always dreamed of having biohazard waste materials left strewn around your yard where your children play? Well, if what you are looking for is major headache you have come to the right place.Waldorf & Sons was excellent at leaving 6-8-inch-deep ruts in my yard instead of simply using inexpensive ground protection mats. I really loved spending hours repairing my lawn, picking up cigarette butts, and cleaning up sewage they left around. There was added level of excitement trying to figure out if they actually knew what they were doing?! Not only that but I had the utmost pleasure of being talked down to! Who doesn't enjoy being made to feel like a worthless piece of trash by city contractors?Honestly, if you have half a brain and even less muscle you might as well just do the work yourself as I had to do after they left.... Otherwise just have these guys come out and wing it. Chances are they won't do anything well but hey, who doesn't like spending their savings on some wild adventure? Be spontaneous, spend loosely, and forget about a job well done!!!
Anupa Shantaram: I decided to go from having well water to being connected to the township water in Grand Blanc. I searched around for a few companies that could complete the excavate job and came across Waldorf and Sons. The whole process has been effortless and smooth. I received great customer service from Matt who came out and assessed the project. The project was scheduled within a week. I was pleased with the crew that was sent out Justin, Robbie, Josh, and Bob as they were all professional and polite. Bob and Josh did a great job explaining what the process was from beginning to end. Tarps were put down to keep my hard wood floors and carpet clean, they wore booties on their shoes as well. Everything was cleaned up when they left. I spoke with the supervisor Fred who was pleasant to speak with and I commended his team on a great job. The entire project went so very smoothly.Somehow they were able to install a water line by drilling from inside my Michigan basement deep underneath my porch, shrubs, lawn, concrete garden retaining wall and sidewalks to a pit dug alongside the city's main hook up location. My property was totally undisturbed and looked exactly as it had, after the grass seed came up on the excavated "pit" the week after they finished!Their horizontal "trenchless" drilling process made it possible for me to AVOID using other "traditional trenching" contractors that could leave up to 40' of feet of "trenching" scars across the front lawn, require removal of my shrubs, garden plants and an undermined replacement of the city sidewalk and garden retaining wall. What a headache!Waldorf's guys were amazing and I can't thank them enough!!!! Matt kept in contact with me from the quote stage through to his final inspection of the work to ensure the water lines were properly connected and working as they should.I am most grateful to Waldorf and recommend them very highly to my friends and neighbors!
