Sam Sparnall: The absolute worst police department in the country. Refused to send officers out when my neighbor fires off his gun outside my house. Claimed that they sent out officers to clear the scene but we and our neighbors watched and no one ever came. The shooter had time to pick up shell casings and disburse their party. I'm sick of the police doing nothing yet expecting us to support them.

Z A: Some of the rudest and most inefficient interactions I've had with police in any city. Be careful as a person of color in Flint, you are always a target for harrassment. Department continues to struggle with racial profiling and discrimination. Stunning lack of diversity in a police force that is responsible for so many people of color. Ineffective policing. Regularly issue parking tickets and traffic violations incorrectly to make it difficult for citizens to pay. Unprofessional at best, need a massive overhaul that will probably never come.

S S: People who are talking about high wait times and never seeing any police..There's only about 98 officers.As of the latest census there's 102000 people living in Flint. .09% of the entire population are police officersThere are 1,133 people to one officer.It doesn't take a mathematician to see why you might never see an officer out on the streets, there's hardly any there!!They're doing great with what they got.

GB Building Maintenance: Just leaving speedway on Bristol Rd near the expressway. We were preparing to turn left. Female cop pulled up on our right side, then proceeded to turn left in front of us onto Bristol Rd. No lights or sirens, not even a turn signal. Just typical cop style driving. If a regular citizen did that in front of a cop they would have been pulled over in a heartbeat. You all wonder why people don’t like cops. Everyone should be held to the same laws, but once you get a badge that apparently doesn’t apply. So tired of seeing police break laws and have zero accountability.

You ask anyone if they feel safe walking up to an officer to ask a question? The answer... Hell no!! Talk to a cop and he's just looking you up and down hoping for a reason to arrest you! I remember when police was too protect and serve, not arrest every single person you come across I'm just one person telling you what nobody else wants to say, the community hates you, doesent trust you, do you realize that people would rather deal with a dangerous or horrible situation than to call the police cuz everyone knows they police aren't coming to help they're coming too arrest people!!
