Carson Wilson: I had an awful experience with this very unprofessional “company”. I had storm damage on my vinyl fence which was being covered by my insurance company. I contacted Michigan Fence Company and the gentleman they sent, Randy, came a half hour before the scheduled appointment. When I arrived at the agreed upon time he was long gone. I called the office to have Randy call me but was informed that he left his cell phone at the office. It’s a wonder he found is way to my home in the first place. After multiple days I finally received a quote without a date and a price estimate. As many know, this is not acceptable to submit as a claim to an insurance company. After contacting the office to get a more detailed quote, I was still left stunned by the callous response of the office staff. Needless to say, I am unsatisfied with their proposal and I would never recommend this company for any residential or commercial work. In my 53 years of existence, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Other fence companies quoted me 6-12 months and AAF got it done in 4 months (including waiting for my permit, if you're not aware some townships require a permit).I waited over the winter to post a review so I could really get out there and see how it held up and it looks great still! Kayla Karana: When installing my fence, I was asked where I'd like the transmitter placed (either in the garage or in a room) and I had him install it in my dog's play room right near where he exits to go potty. After the install, my husband witnessed our dog getting shocked INSIDE our house multiple times when going near the transmitter, & him avoiding that whole area of the room. Not knowing why this was happening, I called and spoke to Bethany, concerned on why my dog is getting shocked indoors. She snidely said "well yeah, that's gonna happen if he goes near it." This was absolutely never mentioned when discussing where to install the transmitter as I would NEVER install it somewhere my dog frequently goes and plays near. The owner, Randy, said it was MY fault that my dog is getting shocked as I told the worker where to install. No Randy, you need to educate your installers and customers that the dog will not only get shocked with the outdoor fence, but with the transmitter that needs to be in a covered space somewhere inside the house or in the garage. No pamphlets or information given to customers after install say anything about this either. Disappointed that Randy with Safebet doesn't take ownership of his company's mistakes. I will not give a dollar back to this company let alone $250 to move the transmitter. Taking my referrals elsewhere.
