Elizabeth Kusky: Two of my children dance at this studio (and I took adult classes for a couple of months before becoming pregnant) and there are a couple of things about this studio that are unique versus other studios in the area:1.) Without compromising quality, they promote an environment that is free from cattiness and the more negative elements that can be common to the dance world. Students are encouraged to support each other, allowing each student to focus on doing their personal best and on loving their art. I’m thankful to be able to introduce my kids to dance in this kind of environment, and from what I’ve seen students are learning and flourishing.2.) The studio is committed to giving back to the community. They are doing what they can to make quality dance education attainable for anyone who wants to dance.3.) I love the variety of dance styles they offer. As a kid I took modern and ballet, but deep down I really want to try break dancing. At Fli-City, students have options.

I've always wanted to learn to dance but never took dance as a kid, so it was such a godsend to find a studio that has multiple dance classes that adults can participate in from hip hop to ballet. The atmosphere is very comfortable with a wide selection of dances as well as different skill levels for each. The owners and instructors believe that everyone should have the chance to dance no matter their financial status or physical ability. They try to accommodate everyone and have a non-judge mental attitude.It’s a great place for littles and bigs. Age has no place here!

I’ve never been to another studio that opens their doors to the community for FREE for a few hours every week. The owners are super great and always in attendance. 5 starts just for the amazing studio with 12ft mirrors all around. Another 5 stars for the environment, I’ve always felt comfortable and welcome and 5 stars for the cleanliness and great up keep.

S.L. Gasko: My son has been attending dance classes here for almost 3 years now. His instructors are so thoughtful in how they make sure he is progressing on track. They have worked with me on his ADHD, too. Dance helps him in this so much. Everyone from the office staff to the director are so helpful, too. I'd like to slip a little mention in of the fellow dance parents. There's a real solid and caring community here, even for my introvert self who doesn't always join in on the conversations.
