Picked out a sectional put on layaway until house was done being renovated, specifically asked if the sectional i was purchasing was the floor model asked this same question to employees everytimei made a payment. Finally was able to have furniture delivered on a specific day 3 weeks out from last payment date, the day of supposed delivery no call no delivery, i go to the store for them to tell me they ran out of time on Sat, so i lost a day at work which cost me 400 and no furniture, they give me another day for delivery only to get a call day before saying they dont have the sectional in stock when the employee said i should finish paying then because they only had 1 left in stock and now want to give me 200 off the floor model which has feet prints on it and who knows how many dirty pants. Dont shop here because if you buy something and its defective your gonna be stuck with it place is a joke

Austin Jobb: Products are sub par. Came broken/torn. If you call customer service they’re extremely rude. Don’t waste the extra money on the insurance because it doesn’t cover anything. Not even manufacturing defect or normal wear and tear. They claimed it covers pet damage but it doesn’t. $4000 sectional is now worth about $5 and unusable within a year. They lie about everything. Go anywhere else.

ed munger: 3 stars was given because Godwins Furniture stood behind Lazyboy's furniture when Lazyboy wouldn't even attempt to fix the problem with their own products, if Lazyboy had even attempted to stand behind their product Godwins and Ron Bruff would have received a 5 star rating Ron Bruff was nice to deal with , very polite and somewhat knowledgeable he was not pushy or a hovering salesperson that makes people feel pleasured , Ron Bruff gave us space to talk about the purchase and when we decided he went to work and got us the best deal he could, thank You Ron , we spent $7,094.72 on Lazyboy living room furniture on 11-22-2022 and took delivery of furniture on 1-31-2023 ,we noticed immediately that the wall huggers that we ordered were not wall huggers so I called Ron and was assured that he ordered wall huggers and asked me to call another number and have a Godwins service technician come and measure them, the gentleman who scheduled the appointment said over the phone that if ordered in power it it doesn't matter if it is a wall hugger or not it will have to sit 12 inches from the wall, I called Ron and he said 5 to 6 inches maybe but not 12 inches, February 10th service technician showed up and said he didn't know the difference between the wall hugger or a non wall hugger, on February 11th we got an email from Amber Godwin that states that they shouldn't have to be more than 5 or 6 inches from the wall but meanwhile Lazyboys website says 4 inches is all that is required, a lady from Godwins called me today 2-14-2023 and said that the repair technician said that the chairs worked just fine and there was nothing wrong with them even though we paid extra for wall huggers and did not receive them but the non wall hugger loveseat that we also purchased only sits 3.5 inches from the wall and fully reclines. We will contact Godwins and Lazyboy tomorrow and update this review but at this moment I would not recommend Godwins as an honest company. Update 2-15-2023 spoke with a lady at Lazyboy today and was told that our chairs should sit no more than 5 inches from the wall but there was nothing that Lazyboy could do to fix them for the first year and that I would have to deal with Godwins, 2-17-2023 spoke with Ron Bruff and immediately he said that they would exchange them for whatever I chose to replace them with and received full credit for the special ordered chairs so we did that and I also have to say that I would highly recommend Godwins Furniture for standing behind their customers even though this problem rest solely on Lazyboy Furniture for not building their furniture correctly and then not standing behind their own products, I will never purchase another piece of Lazyboy furniture and I would warn people to think twice about a company that doesn't support their own products.

Now I do have to say my husband and I are not fans of overbearing salesmen but that was not the case with Ronnie. He was AMAZING! He was extremely KNOWLEDGABLE with all of our questions. From different sets and their styles/configurations to when they would be available and all financing options. He was also very honest about different sets and if he thought it would work for what we were ultimately looking for. I also cannot forget to mention how PATIENT he was. I am very indecisive and we had two younger kids with us and it didn’t even phase him. He never made us feel like we were wasting his time or taking too long at figuring out what we wanted or constantly asking if we made a decision. He gave us the time and space to figure out what we liked but was always close enough for us to find him and asked the questions we had. It truly was one of the best sales experiences for me and my husband. I understand that they were having shipping and stocking issues but they never tried to communicate with me about when my couch would be in. I waited months until I asked if I could have the floor model so I able to get that (with no discount). I did order one piece to make it fit better for my living room and now that it is finally here I have had an issue getting it delivered- I tried to pick it up on the weekend and they tell me they don't do pickups on Sundays.... they just seem to be difficult all around to get furniture.

Julie Bark: Just like many others we bought a bedroom set in June 2021 and it its still not in. I have called multiple times and every time I call they keep pushing the date further and further out. The only person that I have spoke with that has offered any type of solution is Mike. Everyone else is rude and act like this is supposed to be normal. You don't tell customers their furniture is guaranteed to be here 12 weeks and then not provide it. They will close their doors if they continue business practices like this.

The sales person Laurie was told that day she could not get the fabric I picked out so the manager, Tammy told her acouple times to call me and she never did. I called in December 2021 because it was supposed to be in and it had never been ordered. Called 4 times never got Laurie to call back, finally asked for manager Tammy and she told me it had not been order. Never do business with them.!!!!!

Chad Lyke: Bed delivered in May, pieces broken and missing. It’s now September and still don’t have the pieces yet. This needs to be dealt with.It’s now November, the parts came in and are still wrong. Will be requesting a manager shortly.This place is going to go out of business.Yikes!

Jaquaya Murphy: On 8/06/2021 went to the store and showed Lori the salesperson a dresser I wanted that was on their website. She informed me that the dresser wasn’t in stock but she could order it. Lori asked me when would I want the dresser and I explained to her that I needed it by the middle of September 2021 because. I was moving. She ordered the dresser for me and explained to me that the dresser would be in approximately 4 weeks. I stressed to her that I needed it in September and she stated that she was sure that it would be here in September. Here it is the middle off September and I was told by one of the sales reps that my dresser did not have a eta and would not be in for another two to four months. Lori proceeded to say that she never told me four weeks and that she stated two to four months. I informed Lori and spoke with the manager that I did not appreciate Lori lying to me on 8/06 nor do I appreciate Lori lying today regarding what she told me. I would of never bought the dresser if the shipment date was two to four months because I was moving in September! I will be getting a refund. I am extremely disappointed in the lies that I was told by Lori. Poor customer service.RESPONSE TO COMPANY: After reading the companies comment on not only my review but others I came to the conclusion that the individual that is responding is immature and unprofessional in many ways. How can you stand behind something you did NOT witness? I know what Lori said to me and I know that she lied. I don’t appreciate the response or apology and would most definitely recommend to the individual that is replying to be a little more professional. Your responses degrades the companies image and makes the company look very bad and as if the company only cares about its employees and not the customers. The individual who is replying needs internet etiquette training and work related conflict training. It’s really sad because even though I was disappointed in Lori’s behavior I was going to actually give you guys another try. But with your response it shows me that I shouldn’t. Everytime i call the date is pushed farther back, not once have they called me. Tammy and Kimberly are lazy and take no initiative no communicate. Will never shop here again!
