Eric The Explorer: I didn't actually go to Parker's Propane HOWEVER, I used to run The Printing Press at Jiffy Prints And they were a very good client for years. I did hear a lot of customers talk about their low prices and their customer service being just outstanding. They were always polite when they came to pick up their printing and they've been in business with propane for decades. If I had to get propane for my gas grill to My "pig" for my trailer, I would go with Parker's Propane just on their reputation alone. Just next time you need your propane filled or any propane needs; at least give Parker's Propane a try.

I have worked with our sales rep Randy Burns for the last five years, and he continually keeps me updated on products, changes, and is available whenever I need him. They recently scheduled a series of daily "coffee talks" during the last month of COVID-19 that touched on hearth tips, different products, marketing tips, etc. They brought in various experts to share and educate business owners and employees during these difficult times. That is a great business! I just received a handwritten thank you note and a thank you gift for attending Ray Murray's Coffee Talk's. They were only 2 mg, so I wanted to exchange them, but the guy told me, "once nicotine products leave the store, they can't be returned". I said, "I only want to exchange them for a 4 mg" (because apparently they don't sell 8mg). So, he pounds the register angrily, then throws my money on the counter. I explained to him 4 times, I just wanted an exchange, not a refund. I took the money and shook the dirt off my feet as I walked out of there for the last time! I hope he has fun looking like Willis from Different Strokes!

Well worse decision I ever made. #1 the driver Spilt fuel all over the place became his phone was more important it was so bad he left foot prints all over my brick sidewalks which stand them. #2 we called and they sent a clean up guy out to put water down lol. # 3 this guy decided it was a good idea to take a pip off my tank instead of the cap.#4 2 days of rain and now I have water In My tank because there is no pipe dope around the pip he took off.#5 OK now my furnace don't run because it's full of water I drained almost 2 gallons of water out to fix it why because they would not. #6 they sent me $50 in gift cards for my troubles lol #7 it cost me $300 to fix it. Point of story dont do business with them cheaper is not better.

I guess I live in a poverty stricken rip off area! I REFUSE to go inside of a gas station . . Because they are all way to "seedy" for my comfort level, so I need a spousling volunteer for those places. I also refuse to pay 0.25/gal more at name brand places. Fortunately, (tm) Gas Buddy sometimes gets us to a good place, although people don't seem to use that as much nowadays either!

Tyler Willette: After two very frustrating and disappointing phone calls, I am reaching out via email as suggested by one of your reps. We called yesterday about our tank being locked off and disconnected due to a new greenhouse being built. It was disconnected last year without warning. We called yesterday and a representative at your company said they would have somebody out same day to reconnect. That was the first piece of misinformation. After coming in this morning to see no service was performed on the tank, I called the Chester, NJ office only to be connected with someone out of the country who was not able to help. Upon asking to speak to a supervisor, she obliged and transferred the call to one. Or so I thought. After about 55 minutes on hold on a dead line, I called again on a different phone. I was connected to a senior customer account representative who was able to escalate the case a little further. Unfortunately the service manager and the service coordinator are not in the office, and of course they are they only two people who can resolve our issue. After asking for a supervisor again, I was informed that it was not possible to speak to one. I could only leave information in a queue to receive a call back. This makes the second time we were lied to. Now, I have $10,000 worth of plants in our green house that will perish over night due to the low temperatures. Now, we are forced to search for somebody who may be willing to take the liability to unlock and reconnect the tank today because of the lack of knowledge and education of your company representatives at Amerigas. I have spoken with other businesses with different providers and they ranted and raved about the level of service they have received from their provider, and not one of them used Amerigas. We will be looking into switching propane providers as the number of issues we have encountered with you has been out of control in our many years of service with you. We have a full tank of propane that is PAID for that we cannot use. The loss of our product will be devasting to a small company, but that’s not your problem correct? Your customer service is by far some of the worst anyone at the company has experienced. We will make sure our customers and fellow business owners know that they cannot count on Amerigas. Overall, our experience has been way more than disappointing.

Owned by huge multi billion $ UGI Corporation.My father in law (an elderly disabled veteran) was a long time customer, and his gas ran out b/c Amerigas failed to automatically deliver. After many, many calls and over a week with no gas Amerigas finally delivered, but they locked the tank b/c of a gas leak. Our plumber fixed the leak the next day, but Amerigas said they couldn't come out and unlock the tank for another three weeks, so Dad would have been without gas for over a month.Our many calls to Amerigas "customer care" got re-routed to a call center in the Philippines, where the reps are clueless, and just say someone will get back to you (which never happens).Since Dad needs the propane for cooking, we switched him to a nice, local propane company in Morris County (Dixon), with knowledgeable, responsive local people answering the phones and taking care of customers. Dixon delivered a tank in three days, so Dad can use his stove again.Amerigas seems to think it's OK to leave an elderly disabled veteran without gas for over a month and is now looking to stick Dad with a $150 charge to remove their totally unused tank that they never unlocked.

Jim Franson: Awful awful awful. Delivery date was not met as indicated and I ran out of propane. No heat, no hot water. Called for an expedited delivery and was put on hold - after two hours on hold it was clear that nobody was ever going to pick up. The following day I spoke with customer service in India who promised a next day delivery. That did not occur, two more phone calls to customer service in India who told me not to worry, that it would handled ASAP. Still no delivery. The next call to customer service said that I had propane and didn't need any. When I corrected them, they said that they could not tell me when the deliver would occur, and then followed up with a question as to whether I was satisfied with how my request was handled. Wow.Still no delivery, no propane, no heat or hot water. It is January, so it is fairly important.

Emerson: Horrible company and truly dishonest. Have had this company for 20 years. Apparently has changed hands to new owners. Very deceitful. Will not let you talk to management and please check your monthly payments if your on the payment contracted plan. They charge a huge monthly payment and at the end of contract the company will have hundreds of dollars of your money. Been asking Amerigas for months to lower my monthly payment because our usage is very low. They keep telling me someone will get back to me after reviewing account. No one ever gets back to me. If Amerigas keeps my monthly payment the same at the end of my contract they will have a 1500.00 credit on my acct. very bad company to do business with!!! I guess they have to use our money to stay afloat in this economy. Please consider other companies before doing business with Amerigas. My friends have different propane companies and they have never had to go thru what I have the last 20 years. But to remove the tank Amerigas stated we have to pay 1200.00. So you are screwed either way!! I totally 100% agree with the previous review too!!

Erin Byrnes: Is 0 start possible? Our tank has been leaking since Thanksgiving. They locked off our access and said they would send emergency services to come and repair it immediately. Nobody ever came, instead they’ve attempted to charge us for fuel they filled up and we can’t use, and is instead leaking into the atmosphere. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Practically scammers.

I placed an order 14 days ago and still no propane.. They have my email and my phone number and yet not one notification as to the status or simple update.

Daniel Delcher: Customer Service is the worst and the company is negligent on customer contracts. I just bought my first home, and the previous homeowner had service from AmeriGas and was happy with it. I contacted the company to establish an account in my name and transfer the service. Everything went well with the sales rep, and he signed me up for automatic, "worry-free" delivery service. After that initial phone conversation, then everything went horribly wrong. About a week and a half ago, I woke up in the morning to no heat and no hot water. I raced to my hot water heater which powers both to find that it is not getting any gas. I then go to the tanks to find the gauge is on 0. The company neglected to maintain my automatic delivery service and allowed my tanks to go empty. I called customer service for an emergency delivery, they said someone would be right out in 24 hours. Instead it took 5 days for a delivery. When the delivery driver found my tanks empty, he filled them but he locked them out due to a company policy requiring for a technician inspection when tanks go empty. I have been calling everyday to get the technician to come to my home to unlock the tanks but the customer service reps and their supervisors said that they could not help me. One customer service rep said that a technician might not be available for 3 weeks or more! At this point, I have gone one and half weeks with no shower, not able to do dishes, not able to do laundry, and even worse NO HEAT! In order to assure my pipes didn't freeze, I had to buy 2 space heaters to attempt to keep the freezing temperatures away. Customer service reps and supervisors keep telling me that someone will contact me in a couple hours but no one calls and no one emails me. And then today I received a bill for close to $500 for propane gas that I can't even use. I don't understand how they have little to no care for their customers, and their priority is money. A utility service that is supposed to be worry-free is in reality full of worrying!
