98integra87: Ever since I got my yamaha gas golf cart I've been hearing about Don Plowman and how good his parts and customer service is. I use my cart to ride trails and needed more torque. Called and spoke with Don. He asked few questions and I ended up ordering performance kit and new primary clutch. I've ran into Manny issues while replacing the rear clutch and everytime I sent Don a mssg on fb he would respond with tips, even called me on a sat. Once I got everything installed I called him for tuning, he walked me through all of it and made it easy, you don't get this kind of customer service anymore. On and off the phone we spend about 2 and half hours and came to agreement I need new theottle cables, Don had a set of oem ones at my house in 2 days, called him back we finished tuning and my cart went from 25mph and not being able to climb anything to now going 34 and is able to climb a wall! Betha Hannah: My name is Scott and yes I’m doing this on my wife’s account, as I don’t have a Google account. I have a Yamaha G-16, and I had Don rebuild the engine, I also wanted the hot set up for more power if he was able to do that. I had the engine rebuilt and broke in the engine as instructed by Don. Then I purchased the hot set up. I have had to make several calls in which I dealt with Don the owner and Dawn the secretary, they were both patient and friendly with me as I was trying to insure that I had everything I needed for the hot set up. I found out that I needed other things such as springs for the governor, requiring them to deal with me more than usual. When I called Dawn who informed me that she would contact Don about an issue while he was on vacation. Don called me (while on vacation) and put me in contact with John from the shop who sent everything that I needed, so that I could have everything ready when he got back. Installing the hot set up was easy to understand with his instructions. On the day of tuning, I learned that he has an ability to talk you through it as if he’s standing there with you. He knows everything about these golf carts, parts and positions and what I’m doing with it even though it’s just a phone call. He was patient with me, made all his instructions clear in guiding me to get my cart running to his satisfaction. After the process I test drove it and got over 30 mph, maxing 34 mph after breaking it in some. My son nicknamed my cart “Too Much” we love it! Thanks Don and all the Plowman Team for being so thorough in helping me with my dream cart. You may find another golf cart shop but you won’t find the quality and service of Plowman’s anywhere! Michael Prevo: The motor rebuilt. All I got was nope nope nada. I told him about my internet they send it to me in a box on my porch for 800. He told me that it's a big rest that the internet motors don't run more than a few minutes and they quit. But he couldn't offer any solution.

Michael Mahi: Bought a used Yamaha G29 Drive YDRE last year and started to have problems with the cart running slow. I google searched the problems and I couldnt find anything that gave me an answer. Saw on a forum that Don from Plowman's Carts was very knowledgeable with Yamahas and decided to give him a call. Don was so helpful and knew right away that it was my motor. He gave me options and ordered a new motor, which was cheaper and stronger that ordering a new Hitachi stock motor.Installed the motor with little to no problems, but when I did have a question, Don was available to help me. Wanted more power so I ordered a new controller. Basically, I have the Riot Jr. now.Absolutely worth every penny!! All my stuff arrived quickly. My cart does exactly what I wanted it to. Dirk Lowell: I recently purchased and installed the performance kit for my 2017 Yamaha Drive2 EFI from Plowman's, and I've been blown away by the quality of the parts and service from Don and his team.I visited on the phone with Don for about 10-15 minutes before deciding to make the purchase, but within the first minute of talking, it was obvious that Don knows everything there is to know about Yamaha carts. After going through every detail of my cart, he put together a custom kit and shipped same day.The parts in the kit are high quality with straight forward instructions. When you purchase this kit, Don also takes the time to walk through the tuning process with you over the phone. I was impressed at the detail and clarity of his instructions. He made it clear when a step was tricky and makes sure you take your time to avoid mistakes. As long as you have some mechanical ability and can follow instructions, Don makes the tuning process a breeze.My cart would run just over 20 MPH with very little torque and bogged down up hills before installing this kit. After the final tune, I was running 33 MPH on gravel. Low end torque is much better, and hills feel like nothing. It's hard to believe it's the same cart. It's definitely a lot more fun to drive!Don was a pleasure to do business with! Plowman's will definitely be my first call for anything Yamaha moving forward.

R R: I did buy a cart from Plowman's Carts in November. Talked with Don and told him exactly what I was looking for and my intended use for my cart, he built it to my specifications. We even added headlights last minute which would have been a big hassle for them but he didn't even bat an eye. Don said he wanted me to have exactly what I wanted and he made it so. I did have it shipped to me and never saw the cart prior to buying it, I was hesitant to do this but with all the good reviews I went for it. I would do it again in a heartbeat as the cart was everything it was supposed to be and I could see by there work they do care that the customer is happy. 10/10 would recommend Plowman's Carts.Now the long wait until Winter is over to use it everyday, I could not wait and had to pull the kids on there sleds with the new cart. Mike Peterson: I was skeptical about some of the reviews on Plowmans, just seems like everything is too good to be true..... but, got my parts installed, then thought, this hasn't really changed my golf carts performance that much. Well that's only half of the deal! Seriously! Call and get your free tune-up over the phone and be ready,,, I mean ready! Have everything laid out and ready to go. It's fast paced and somewhat intricate but damn does of make a world of difference! I honestly can't believe the way my cart runs now. It's literally a night and day difference.Just a tip = if your'e not mechanically inclined, get someone who is to do the install and tune.

I called him to ask his opinion on what he thought I needed and he spent 30 mins discussing it with me and selling me the kit I needed. After I got it installed I called and scheduled a time to do the tune process with him and he walked me right through it. My stock cart went from running 15 with a fully adjusted governor to 31mph on the top end with enough low end to spin gravel in the driveway haha. Nothing but good things to say about Don. But people should realize he’s just one man and one shop trying to help people all across the country. So yes, it might have taken a day for him to get back in touch with me when I called, but when he does, he doesn’t seem rushed and makes sure all my questions were answered and spent as much time helping me as I needed. Mike Morey: Waited awhile to be able to order extreme lifted performance kit for my 2016 Yamaha Drive but worth the wait. Installed myself and called Don for the phone tune. He was very patient and we got it done with a couple of calls in the same day. I would caution those of you who have questionable mechanical skills. Do not attempt!! It would be very easy to cause expensive damage to your cart. If you have experience with small engine repair then go for it! We’ll worth the price of admission. Really wakes up the performance capability. Ran out of parking lot on the test drive at my apartment but shot up to 27mph pretty fast. I think it’ll hit 30 on a straight smooth road. It could not climb the hills until Don helped us install a new clutch and drive belt. He went above and beyond and now our Golf cart flies up the hill with 4 people on it. The tuning process that Don does with you over the phone is very easy to do if you have any mechanical experience. He takes the time to walk you through the tuning process step by step and answers any question that you have. He also makes sure your cart is performing at its best. The customer service and quality on his performance kits are top notch. If you are wanting a great running, fast and reliable golf cart you should contact plowman’s. When I first contacted Don I told him that I wanted my Yamaha g29 to perform as well as a Honda 24hp cart and it absolutely does. The cart has great bottom end and top end. Cart cruises at 28 mph and tops out at 32mph.

Cameron Rados: Don and Dawn were both great and their customer service was 2nd to none. Being on the west coast, my rather large order had to be packaged up and shipped via freight. Dawn was very accommodating and helpful with getting things packaged up and out the door. Once the shipment arrived, I got a text from Don that said "How's that install going?" It couldn't have been at a more perfect time. At that very minute, I was installing the controller and had a couple questions! I responded back that I didn't want to bother him this late in the evening and he said "Just watching TV. What's Up?" I couldn't believe it. I've truly never experienced this type of follow-up and customer service.As for the Riot Kit, Lithium Batteries, Lift Kit and OEM parts, everything was perfect. I have a 48v Electric Cart that now runs a true 30mph on 23" tires with a 3" lift. At the recommendation of Don, I removed the 6" MJFX Lift that made my cart scary to drive over 15mph and could not be happier.The reason I googled Plowman's today was to find the phone number and order up the same items for my parents' golf cart. Tameka Blanks: Our first and last time spending money here. We came to get our golf cart fixed. Dropped it off, the gentleman said he would take a look at it. If it's anything over $200 he would call us before proceeding to fix it, we agreed. He said give him a few days, fine. Almost 2 weeks later (after texting several times because he will NOT call or answer calls) he said he finally fixed it and the bill was $723. We were upset because anything over $200 he said he would call FIRST. However, we voiced our opinion he reduced it to $680 (what a joke) we paid and left. The very first time we tried to ride it (on the holiday) it stopped on us, yes stranded down the road. My husband noticed a line came loose, he tried to put it back where he thought it should go. That didn't work. We dropped it back off the very next business day. This guy had the nerve to say "it's kind of weird the wire is in the wrong place" my husband explained, he tried to fix it in an effort to get it back home. Nevertheless, the guy fixed it (same part that was supposedly fixed initially). My husband was to pick it up this morning, the guy had the nerve to tell him if he's 15 minutes late he's going to have to charge a fee. Are you freaking kidding me! After you stood us up the day before stating a family emergency. We understood with ZERO complaints! We will NEVER again spend a penny here nor will we recommend this place!
