Flint Golf Club: what do users think?
Brian: Old school classic. Saw it's best days in the 70's, but still a nice place.
Phil Hathaway: Great track always in good shape, the people there are even better. Top Notch golf club with a loyal membership that do the most they can with what they have to work with. Always have a great experience there.
Gordon Cushing: good golf club, friendly staff
Bridget Beall: great club, friendly staff
Victoria Benedict: This place has really shown a significant decline in service and management. They fired an employee of 28 years, mind you never written up or has been talked to about service! They are discriminatory against the elderly! This employee was not the first woman of age they fired in the last two years either with a perfect track record of working at Flint Golf Club!
Glenn Lukas: Classic layout - beautiful conditions!
Theresa Weller: My Son's work there so I know he doing his best
carinda johnson: Clean and friendly. The penne pasta was excellent today!
Joe Smith: The new management this year has let this place really go. Very disappointing considering I was there just last summer with great conditions. Course is unrecognizable to what it once was.
Pamela Williams: Love it
James Ray: Great track; consistent greens and always well maintained
Earlexus Dixon: Really beautiful place, enjoyed the event that happened here.
Janet Rauch: Attended a meeting there yesterday with my high school reunion committee as this is where we will hold our celebration in the Fall. It is a beautiful building! Although it's in the process of being renovated inside, it's still very impressive!
James MacKay: Lacking maintenance
Don: Always enjoy this course.
Gary Cobe: Beautiful!
Pierre05 Rice: Bring it back
Ellis Stafford: The course looks nice this time of the year and the club tastefully decorated.
Jane Shively: Wonderful relaxed Brunch with Santa. The food was amazing, Santa was wonderful and it was not crowded. My shy grandchildren had a great time!
Matt Cooper: There for a meeting. Food and service great!
Tenshadows Fisher: A nice course to play on

Kearsley Lake Municipal Golf: what do users think?
Lon Hopkins: Nice little course.....decent price!
Mark Craine: Club house needs a lot of work. Bathrooms are rough & not clean. Only one porta_potty on each 9 and they are not clean. The course is up to par for a city owned golf course the greens are nice the fairways are good and the roughs are light. The carts need work
Tivi Aho: Favorite little course, great price very forgiving.
kurt sherwood: Great course not to many trees good carts
Malissa Lagios: Nice course, beautiful scenery, kind staff. PRECARIOUSLY set up. Yikes.
Linda Briggs: We love Kearsley. It’s in phenomenal shape. Joe Glenn and crew have done an excellent job with the grounds. Dennis and Linda Briggs
Rj Barber: Pretty nice place
Earl Mayhew: Very nice shape and very good greens but small
Matt Hopkins: A great place for a golf outing!
Patrick Jones: The course is in bad shape. Greens are bad and the tee boxes are terrible.
Nathan Stearns: The guys i have delt with at the course have been pleasant to deal with. Theres no issues with staff, in my opinion. When it comes to the course itself, thats a completely different story! The "greens" have chunks missing. Some sections are even dead. Most the time they are rock hard. The fairways have grass but they are rock hard as well, to say the least. If you're off the fairways, bring your sand wedge....maybe. Its basically all sand but thats also like hitting off concrete.I get that its only a $20 course, however i have played many similar priced courses and this doesnt come any where near the others quality.
Billy Pemberton: Been playing here for over a decade. Great course.
Linda Thalhammer: Go golfing there 2-3 times a week. Love it out there.
Richard Littlejohn: Great place to fish. Nice size bass in there
Glenn Smith: Nice course I've played for years, it's about time I started hitting the ball.
Tyler Gronauer: If you would’ve asked me yesterday what I think of this course I would’ve told you it’s a decent course that has decent pricing. However, today and from this point forward, it’s a different story.I called the club house looking to set up a tee time. The “gentleman” on the other line asked what I was looking to do. So I asked for pricing on 18 holes w/ a cart. He replied $20. So I said “Great. Let’s do that.” This jerk then says to me, “Thank you for FINALLY answering my question. Come out whenever.”I then asked him “are you trying to be a jerk or what?” His immediate response was not “I’m sorry sir” or anything remotely close. He answered me by saying, “Look if you don’t like the way I talk then you can find another golf course. So do you want to golf or not?!”If these are the kind of people they hire to work here, I have no interest in ever giving them my money. Unbelievably disrespectful. And it pains me to say this is not the only encounter I’ve had with this pompous idiot.
Wylie Nagy: Good prices. Ok greens. Pulling pins and locking gates well before sunset.
Joshua Andrykovich: I have to adjust my rating based on what happened over the Labor Day weekend. On Sunday, two friends and myself went out around 10:45 on the front nine. Only the front nine was open due to bad rains the day before. We get done on the first 9 and pay the additional $5 to make the turn and play the front nine again. The guy in the clubhouse tells us that there is a group of 12 playing together and that they know to let people pass. It was not the groups idea to play as 12, but rather course staff thought it best to let 12 people play together. Eventually, we ran into them teeing off on the seventh hole as we were playing our 6th hole. We waited behind them the entire time. They did not let us pass. We had to wait 10-20 minutes between each one of our shots because we had to wait every single time on this massive group. Ridiculous. I was furious. What common sense tells you to play as a 12 person group? After we were finished, I went inside the clubhouse and let them know that they did not let us pass and we waited behind them since the 7th hole. He said they knew to let people pass, I said they didn't. He then had the nerve to say to me "Did you ask them to let you pass?" I'm sorry, what!???! We are a group of 3, should never have to ask a group of 12 if it is OK for us to pass. Should never have been a group of 12 in the first place. NEVER! I said "I shouldn't have to do that. They are a group of 12". "You should have just played through" was his next statement. Are you kidding me? We should have just played through? I can tell you what I'm not going to do. I'm not going to golf here anymore. I have been golfing here for almost 10 years, I highly doubt I will ever golf here again. The idiocy of both that group who should have had common sense to not even consider golfing as a group of 12 and the golf course staff who let them play as a group of 12 has made sure of that.
Jimbo4901: Greens are well kept.
Terry Gibbs: Always fun golfing at Kearsley lake golf course. I've played golf there my whole life.
Andy Robinson: Great rates. The course is short but in ok shape.

Swartz Creek Municipal Golf: what do users think?
Mustafa Unuvar: Always playing the executive it really sucked today not mowed real well greens are not great. Hopefully it will get better soon.
Joel Gallardo: I love playing the executive 9 hole course here.
Cale Western: Great course for cheap rates and fun.
lary anderson: nice course , great greens , carts are older but a great day , good golfing and economical $30 for 18 WE WILL BE BACK .
Yvonne Williams: Exec nine was fun!
Jeff Miller: The course was quite wet and not well manicured.
Maxwell Amadues: One of the worst flint municipal courses. Save your money and go play Kearsly Lake for the same cost. Destroyed fairways, sloppy cuts for every part of the course. The greens are fast and most of the front 9 are decent, but not worth the cost at all.
George Gagnon: Wet and tore up! Bad
Cliff Harris: Nice and easy going 👌
Kyle Gustafson: Fun course! Great staff
robert williams: From the course being challenging and friendly to the awesome bar I gotta say I was surprised when I pulled up to this golf course and I will have to say I’m gonna be back soon cause what a great experience!
Terry Woodfin: Do not play this bug infested, dead greens.Course
kay lovell: Fun and reasonable
Matthew Crumm: Very nice!
Michael Williams: Greens are terrible
Billiam Frankly: Gr
Julie Hattis: If you want a hard and challenging course this is the place for you!!
Ashley Graham: The golf course itself is okay. They were the only one in my area I could get into on such a short notice but while I was there my car along with another one in the parking lot were broken into by some worthless people with nothing else better to do than steal from people who work hard for what they have. It’s no fault to the course owners but they should have cameras or something to protect their customers from these things. Especially since it was mentioned it’s not the first time it happened. Beware if you visit here, do not keep anything valuable in your vehicle while you’re golfing. Take everything with you or leave it at home.
Lon Hopkins: Good place to golf!
Michaeltcvyyvyg Millington: Nice course had fun
Ken Mayer: Played in the flint city Senior amateur at kearsley lakes and Swartz Creek municipal. It was very enjoyable an challenging. A tough track, hard and fast fairways kinda reminds me of a links style play. Well worth the play. Greens are a bit worn from the early sumer drought.nice people, nice challenge

Atlas Valley Golf Club: what do users think?
Mitchell Syrowik: Great course for all handicaps. In amazing shape
Olivia Lauer: This place has a joke of a management system, very unprofessional and wasted my time. I would not waste your time going here, there’s many other golf places that will appreciate your business more and are overall a better place to golf. Very disappointed with Atlas.
Shirley Kautman-Jones: Excited to have this wonderful establishment in our community! Facility and grounds are beautiful, staff is amazing and the food is great!
Michele Schultz: Went for Easter Sunday brunch. Cost $55 each. Very dissapointed. Food was 'cheap' food,. The food served was the least expensive to purchase and prepare..no creativity for the price. Desserts appeared to be bought at Gordans or Sams. For the cost I expected a bit more flare. Wai staff were great.
Red: Props where props are due, went back for a second time, server was fantastic! Food was good, thank you for a good experience!
Nancy Kummer: It was the first time we had been there because we thought it was a private club and what a pleasant surprise. The food was outstanding my steak was cooked to perfection and I can't wait to go back so I can try the fish and chips. The wait staff was warm and friendly we had Amy and she really took good care of us. As we were leaving Kathy showed us around to all the different rooms where they have Sunday brunch and wedding reception . What a beautiful place can't wait to go back.
Mark Miller: Was expecting a buffet for lunch, but instead a menu. Nothing jumped out. The Bloody Mary was good.
Ski: Won't be back. Get your house in order.
Rebekah: If I could leave zero stars, I would! What a nightmare after having such high expectations. We were seated at 10:25, our food never arrived and we waited until 12:10 before leaving. We were the first group seated in the area we were in and yet, several other tables were served before ours. We were not given updates or apologies regarding the long wait. We waited over an hour before we made any concerns/complaints about the long wait because they were busy. We were empathetic beforehand. We were patient. After sharing our concerns, the manager had to nerve to say, "It's just food," when our table finally started getting irritated after waiting, at this point, 90 minutes! We were told they did not anticipate so many people coming for brunch. (All the tables weren't even occupied at this point) We understand that EVERYWHERE IS UNDERSTAFFED however, that doesn't mean the order in which you serve is backwards, that you (manager) get to be rude, and that you (wait-staff or managers)don't say anything, in regards to your very patient and accommodating waiting table of guests!!On top of everything else, we were then lied to about how our food, "was being plated, and it was coming right out." In actuality, the tables who arrived after us were being plated and served. One of those tables sent food back.Patrons beware, of slow service, rude behavior, and no apologies.

We were told they did not anticipate so many people coming for brunch. (All the tables weren't even occupied at this point) This falls squarely on the shoulders of management/owners for being understaffed. Then we were lied to about how our food "was being plated, and it was coming right out." In actuality, the tables who arrived after us were being plated and served. One of those tables sent food back.Additionally, several drinks were never refilled for over an hour and only done so after finding someone and making a request. Those that were refilled were slow coming. I had to ask for my original drink order 3 times.
Layne “LBird” Lucia: Wow, what a makeover on the golf course and food. A little pricy, but well worth it.Get the hadfockfor fish and chips, yum, lots. Great golf course and practice facility.
Tricia Hammond: good service
Cassie Coltson: Beautiful place, great staff and the food was awesome!
Mike Malone: We just had our Christmas party here. What a beautiful place!
Matt DuPuy: Nice golf course. Challenging
Karl Capobianco: Golf course has new owners. The club house and course have been updated. Just added indoor golf simulators. Electronic full swing and play course. Best banquet facilities in a hundred-mile radius. The pool is Olympic size and has sanctioned matches throughout the summer. New spectator seating around the pool area and a food truck has been added. Next summer will have music and events poolside.
Josh P: Friendly staff, good food in the clubhouse. The course was amazingly well kept, and a nice layout as well. I'm looking forward to coming back.
jeronimo3571: Course is always well maintained and staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Very scenic and relaxing course. Will always come back for 18 every time I have the chance.
Kathy Evans: Fairways and greens are in great shape. Wish they had changed to fall rates but not yet
Jilayne Hill: Very nice place for lunch. An outdoor patio, right on the golf course. Food is good, and service was exceptional.
Jeremy Brookman: I was attending a wedding and reception here this place is beautiful and very well taken care of. The golf course was very nice as well and everyone there was friendly.

IMA Brookwood Golf Club: what do users think?
Charles Johnson: played course a few years ago! with a group the starter put groups in front of us on the back nine we had to wait to tee off after a 3 hour front nine....i went home.
Ronald Buczek: Plush, excellent shape. Nice folks.
Jeffrey M: Great course. Well maintained friendly staff.
Leedog Day: Course is in good condition, but when the Ranger is sleeping on the course and it takes 3 hours to play 9 holes, I'll cut my losses on the second 9 and go home..went a 2nd time and once again they overbooked,,, 3 hours for 9 holes is ridiculous
Eric Culpepper: Though the course is kept up well, the professionalism is just not there. First, the course is way over booked and both the patrons and the "rangers" are rude for no reason. Proper golf etiquette says to let others play through when you find yourself moving slower with nobody in front of you. The ranger told us to play "hurry up golf" after we had just let another group pass. One of the men in the group behind us yelled for us to shut up and hit the ball (with a few choice words added in) while we were waiting for the group in front to get out of range. We proceeded to hit nearly hitting the group in front (within 5 yards), just to get yelled at by the rangers. By no means were we playing slow to begin with.Overall, the way we were treated on this course is ridiculous. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I am not the only one.
larry dent: I was on the driving hitting balls I'm the only person there va group of people 2 men a lady and little girl come up set their bucket of balls down all but the lady when to get their clubs one of the guys said to her come on she said no I'll stay and guard the stuff yes I'm black they were white
Taryn Stanford: Wonderful place!
Bruce Harbin: Great place to golf. The staff are the best.
Mario Z: always fun playing this course. For a public course imo its always well groomed and they do a decent job with the greens.
Josh P: Nice course, well kept fair rates and a friendly staff. Was busy though, a little bit of waiting. The cart girl was very attentative when we played the front, but we only saw her once on the back.
John Doe: Some of the greens and fairways could use some work, some underdrain is necessary on a few of the holes. Aside from the water retention the course is generally in good condition, with some holes being in top condition, staff is friendly, the price might be a little high for a non-profit though.
Adian Clark: Great staff and the golf simulators make for a great time in the off season.
Josh Miller: Amazing place, gotta love the First Tee program and what it does for kids, but also the staff are incredible!
MATTHEW FALLIS: Fun way to spend a few hours with friends, family or co-workers. Staff is friendly, accomidating and helpful
Eric Ryan: Great people in and out. Relaxing atmosphere. Good value.
G Germaine: Greens are fast and hard
lucas power: this is my home golf course so yeah 5
Terri White: People who work here are wonderful! I bring my kids and they are always understanding and accommodating, but I am always respectful of pace of play with them. Get what you give. Respect the game and you get it back.
Jeffrey Jones: Guy at pro shop rude as usual. Not welcoming. Course was in decent shape.
Tim Lagios: Always friendly, price not terrible, pace of play can be a little slow at times......I'm a really new golfer so it doesn't bother me, I'm out there to relax and enjoy a round.
Sara Botkins: Grandkids took first tee golf program. Top notch program.

Genesee Valley Golf Course: what do users think?
Ed Cuttill: Let's see how long it takes to get water in the ball washers
Chris Smith: Good golfing, friendly staff in the pro shop and the 19th hole. Food is not bad for golf course cuisine.
Dana Hill: Great staff , stayed open past the season,
Nikki S: Nice place
David Moore: 7:38 tee time. There was a fivesome on the first tee. Their tee time was 7:00 and they didn't tee off until 7:30 (it was too dark to tee off at 7:00; why give them a tee time that early?). We went in and complained about a fivesome. The owner came out, told them to get moving. That was it. I'll go back when they get a new owner.
Doug Restrick: Nice course for the money.
Josh P: New to this course. It's well kept, has some challenging holes and a variety of tees for all skill levels. Their website has a link for membership info, but it does not work. I asked in the pro shop and they're not offering memberships at this time. The family running the course is friendly and they offer great rates. I've played on a Wed, Fri and a Sat. The busiest I've seen it was on a Friday during twilight. The only time we've had to really wait at the tees.
ethan c: One of the most underrated courses in the flint area!! May not be the toughest layout or have a lot of scenery.. but definitely the best kept course in flint hands down! Especially for the price!!
Andy Williams: Course is in Great shape! Greens were phenomenal !!!
Noble Hikes: Fun and well maintained course
Bill Feudale: Great place to play 9 or 18 family owned. Super friendly, tight fairways, lots of obstacles for you to lose a ball or two, course isnt pinehurst but they try their best!
Joe Kidd: Great place to play, reasonable price and not much trouble to get into.
Shawn White: Great course--good prices. Feels overbooked at times but always a great time it the person behind you isn't impatient.
Steve: Family owned business and it shows.Always accommodating to our foursome.Course is in great shape and greens fees are fair.
Mario Z: not a bad course but its very straight and not a lot of scenery imho.
Lynne Parth: Fun place. Good food and friendly staff. Love the place.
Charles Jennings: Great course and staff love this place
Delores conn: Love the course. Love the owners. Very friendly been going there for 4 years.
Janet Wooden: Went to the bar and server was very accomadating. Pleasant atmosphere, quiet place for ladies to get some wine and chat with no hassle.
Bruce Harbin: Coarse in good shape, treated well by manager/owner.
Lucas P: I play there weekly. While not considered a high end course, prices are reasonable for what you get. Greens are in pretty good shape. the course presents a good challenge, as it's a bit longer than mosr. Staff is always great and friendly. Also, grab a bite to eat...food is quite good.

Beechwood Greens Golf Course: what do users think?
R. Lamb: Had an excellent pro shop experience fall of 2022. They shortened my 7-wood and regripped it while I waited. They measured me and gave me advice on length. I bought shoes and shopped golf clubs while waiting. Very friendly and reasonably priced! Looking forward to a return visit.
Mark Arnold: Greens are a challenge! Placement is everything. Only 4 stars only because they don’t take cash. Reason coin shortage. I wasn’t giving any change! Starter gave us tons of information. No drink cart. Was fun to play.
Greg: Great place when want to practice or been a while. 9 holes or if you want to try it twice can do 18 holes
kurt sherwood: I love this par 3 course has a driving range, carts. They do sales and service.
Bill Krupp: Great job and great host Burns htg and bois plbg had a great time already talking about next year
Andy Williams: Course is still improving continuously...always a challenge.
Bendall Bunch: Great golf course
Tivi Aho: Small short course designed for new golfers. Perfect place to dial in your game.
Matthew Wasson: Good for the kids and a great Flint junior golf kick off spot.
Becki Batterbee: I love this little course. Perfect for beginners, or slower golfers. They offer leagues for golfers of all levels.
Tim Boone: Was great to just get out there today for the first time with buddy Wayne Kibby Roth brother Kevin Boone, nice weather course is kinda open no carts but course was in perty good shape for this time of year they were out there working on it as we played he only charged us 7 bucks, can't wait to get back out there and hit em again, been playing here since I was 16 now 57 will always be my course, now I'm older can't play the big courses any more, see ta soon guys thanks for the free pull cart also
Jason McLeod: This was absolutely the worst golf course I have ever played. I felt like I could have done better in my back yard. Short course. Fairways were like playing the rough. Greens were like playing fairway. I don’t know how they can call this a golf course. Terrible carts. Terrible club house and even worse course. DO NOT WASTE TOUR MONEY.
Courtney Evans: Good, clean golf course.
Mary Golden: Very friendly and a nice old course. Had a nice time.
ricky durbin: After taking our money knowing we was obviously new to the game. We was told to hurry it up after our 1st hole because there was a league going to be started. Then he proceeded to tell me not to drive on the greens like I drove on it ( I didn't ) he said stay at least 30ft away from the green when clearly I'm following everyone else paths. That aren't 30ft away from the green. Then says hope you had fun🤣 we was the first hole but you ruined that by making us feel rushed. Would much rather them have said bothers is a league about to start and gave me a better time to come back. Now I'd rather take my money else where to a course that might actually have fairways and greens🤷🏻‍♂️
ME123 Easy: Take my Dad as often as I can to hit balls on the range. My father is 88 years old and uses a walker. The guys here at Beechwood are the best!!! They greet my Dad by name every time we get there and are so accommodating. We have a great experience each time we go.
Alicia Herrera: We had a great time! It wasn’t expensive at all. The staff was nice and the course is great for beginners.
eric Farley: Greens are still a little rough but love the corse and the staff are awsome
Mike Marshall: This year has been hard on the course and greens.
Ethan McClanahan: The course has a very hard ground and lots of weeds and dead grass.
Ella Nastwold: Fantastic family course for beginners and experienced golfers! The # 5 Green is under repair, looking forward to it being fixed. Leagues for men & women & scotch doubles- lots of fun!
