Andy Gaines: Watched this judge get walked right over by a girl suing a man for a bad first date. She handled the judge, was rude, and combative and he literally just sat there like a punk. Then he helped her out by transferring the case and getting her more time to file suit. Just a laughing stock of a judge.

Jacob Perkins: Constitutionally unsuitable for office. No regard to the principles set out by our forefathers. He doesn't mediate the law, in his courtroom he writes it as he goes. He's inept for his position. The pure fact that he's still in office is nothing less of egregious. I pray this man get reprimanded by the bar, the fact he hasn't is further proof of a corrupt system. Judge Herman Marable has established himself as a very respectful citizen in the Flint Community. More importantly, Judge Marable is a man of great character with many community and service awards. In an effort to give back has he established the Student of the month program to mentor youth. Many youngsters need positive role models to believe in them and Judge Marable has invested quality time into their lives with this program. The city of Flint has a crime problem that continues to escalate and Judge Marable's program for the youth is something positive that needs to be kept going and appreciated.In addiction Judge Marable has established a program to recognize senior citizens of the community who have provided service for the community over the years.

Kahlia Harper: I sued a 'seamstress' because I paid her to make a prom dress and the dress she delivered was not what I paid for. She was properly served for court and did not appear. Judge Marable still entered a judgement returning some of my money. His reasoning was "She delivered a dress." I explained I did not want a dress, I wanted the dress I paid for, to no avail. In my opinion, he was just putting on a show, and should have entered a default judgement in my favor.

Mustafa Unuvar: If you are a landlord and have a case in his court do not expect a fair hearing. Fair is fair. He seems not fair. Well change of opinion. I now have been in front of him maybe 20 times once I understood what he is looking for he is now on my side as a landlord. I now conclude he is the only judge that knows how to apply the law properly.

He helped me with a legal matter in regards to my Auto repair business and I believe from my experience with Judge Marable, that he is a modest and experienced judge. He had me laughing one time when someone came in without a collared shirt! Make sure to dress appropriately in his courtroom, he has no problems with putting you on the spot! HRT T: Judge Marable is the worst Judge I have ever had the pleasure of going before. There should be no doubt why the Genesee Bar has consistently rated him below his opponents, in past elections. His actions on the bench cause unusual delays, financial hardship to property owners, taxpayers, and lower income tenants. He has caused many abandoned properties through his rulings ( and non rulings).I only ask that this Judge act in a similar manor as the other district court judges, so that a citizen may know what to expect from our Courts.

Jeff M: Absolutely discussed that a judge could be so rude, difficult and unwilling to listen before, during or after he decides on a case.The other party fails to show, but instead of doing the proper and respectable thing like listening to the plaintiff and the circumstances that lead me to be there he decides it upon himself to attack the plaintiff with his words, dislike, and ignorance. Not to mention his absolutely ridiculous references to a space ship landing on a roof. " Confused on the last one?" How you think I felt.Everything and I mean everything was in order, right down to the printing of the law to provide to the judge to make my point.So unbelievably unprofessional it's hard to explain it all..But, watch the news because I may have won this case as I easily should have but, this is far from over..Time for that seat to be replaced by a judge that has earned it in my opinion..I encourage anyone to come forward with any info on this judge and join the rest of us on his removal...
