Douglas Jay: Late November, 7 days before Thanksgiving and I find myself unable to clean my gutters because of health issues. I really hate using the internet to find contractors or services, many of them leaving me disappointed or even worse damaging my home.I took a shot and called CleanWell, Katrina answered the phone and quickly gave me a very reasonable quote right then and an appointment the next day. (Even though it had been below freezing for the last week)The next day Dennis called me 30 minutes in advance like I had asked and arrived right on time. First thing I noticed that their vehicle and equipment were new, well kept and clean (Even in late November). The temperature was still below freezing when I met Dennis and John, two very polite and professional young men. After meeting them and knowing they needed no instructions I went back inside the house to stay warm.(Not to go off topic but remember I said I hate using the internet to find contractors??? Well, I used the internet a few years back to find a gutter company because I needed new gutters on my home. Even though I did an extensive search on the internet and got many bids I went with a highly rated company. After all was said and done, I still ended up with disappointment, damage to my home and many letters to the BBB like I mentioned above. My new gutters were installed improperly so the water doesn't run correctly leaving pools of water in my gutters and damage to my roof)Back to Dennis and John from CleanWell. About 20 minutes after they started, I heard some tapping around the roof. So, I went outside to see what was going on and Dennis explained to me that ice had formed throughout the gutters. That they were having to chip the ice out of the gutters, so I told Dennis and John to come back when it was warmer. Dennis said that CleanWell had never left a job unfinished before and they were going to finish the job as I requested, Crazy Right!!! I told Dennis that their quote was very affordable, and they would spend a couple extra hours chipping the ice out of the gutters leading them to lose money on the job. After a long talk Dennis and John finally agreed they would come back when the weather was warmer, they left disappointed that they could not finish the job.Wait it gets better.Katrina called later next Monday to reschedule their next appointment, it was still below freezing and forecasted to remain that way till after Thanksgiving. I told them to please, just come out when the ice is gone and enjoy the holiday week. The weather report finally said it was going to get better after the weekend so Katrina called me the Friday after Thanksgiving to tell me that they would be back Monday. It was just above freezing on Monday, but the ice had finally melted. Dennis called me 30 minutes before arrival again like they said they would and got straight to work.To make a long story longer. My gutters were finished within two hours, to my satisfaction and delight! After they were done, I was handing them their check I asked them when they would be in the area again so they could clean some of my windows? (I take photos of birds during the winter from inside my home and I had failed to get to cleaning the windows) Dennis and John went to their well stocked trailer and got right to washing my windows. 15 minutes later my windows were finished streak free and spotless.Having health issues can have its ups and downs at times. Finding a company like CleanWell that performs professional work on time and at a reasonable price makes life a lot easier for me! I trust this company and the people who work there, I will use them for any service they provide that I need done from now on.
