Tyler Stevens: If you are looking for training, a CPL class, or for general education this is the place to go. Chuck makes things easy to understand and his attention to detail is what sets him apart. I will recommend any of his pieces of training to anyone of any skill level. A huge bonus is that this is the absolute cleanest Gun Range around.
Mary: I took the CPL class with Chuck. This class was amazing. Very eye opening. I certified years ago through a different company and instructor. Wow.. What a difference. Chuck's years of experience, passion for gun safety, teaching others, knowledge of the topic and training showed immediately from the minute you walked into his facility. The information in the packet he provides and the class he teaches sends you out prepared and informed. Chuck teaches in a way that is very personable, down to earth and hands on. The care and time he takes with each individual is invaluable. Chuck allows you to handle handguns during the class to better familiarize you with the ammo, the inner workings and the safe handling of the weapon. After everything i learned, I immediately recommended my adult children re-certify with Chuck. I will never take a class through any other company. I'm telling you, you will never leave a class of Chuck's disappointed or uneducated.

Zavé Brodie (Haleem): As a new gun owner awaiting my CPL license, I am happy to say I acquired my certification and hands on training here. Chuck is an amazing instructor, as a former police officer and police chief his experience and knowledge on gun laws and gun safety were unmatched. He was extremely charismatic and refreshingly honest about the precautions needed to safely defend oneself legally with a firearm. I would highly recommend Gabriel Protection & Training for anyone new to guns or looking to further their training and knowledge of gun laws and safety protocols. The facility was very clean and well maintained. The gun range was spotless and chuck made sure we all felt safe while training there. I only wish I could give this place more than just five stars!!! Brett Elmer: Management had my girlfriend on her way there to a scheduled interview for a job she called to let them know she may be a minute late and was told the position was filled. Why you would not inform her earlier and not have her driving on bad roads for no reason. Would have loved to have another place to shoot but am not impressed with the lack of professionalism!

Leonard Valente: I love shooting sporting clays here. Vince Lori sets great targets that appeal to all skill levels. He is an excellent coach/instructor and I highly recommend taking lessons from him if you want to improve as a shooter. I consistently experience fewer equipment issues and broken birds here than at other area clubs. Also of note, nonmember prices are better then other facilities and show birds are still included with your round. Lastly, the staff at GBHC is also extremely friendly and helpful. This has become my go to club for sporting clays. Worth the drive in my opinion.

John Snow: I have gone here twice now. The range officers here are more strict than any other range I have been to in Michigan. Being strict isn't necessarily a bad thing. But these guys are condescending and just rude. Just because we are in our 30's doesn't mean you get to treat us like children continually while we are respectful and follow every rule.Honestly think I have had it after this last trip. I don't even typically leave reviews but it just left a bad taste in my mouth. Just an uncomfortable experience all together. Decided to skip clay for this very reason. But I assume with range officers like this they would only be happier for it.The facilities are mediocre at best as well. So there is that to.

Joe: I've gone to this gun range several of times with my father to shoot small firearms and rifles. I like it every single time I go there! Especially how the range accepts any age to shoot a gun, unlike the Bass Pro shop.The staff makes sure all attendees are safe. You can shoot shotguns, rifles, and handguns. I'm unsure if you can shoot a crossbow, or a bow and arrow. Highly recommend!

Scott Wilson: Wish they would allow 50 BMG on the 200 yard range.... Otherwise, the safest, friendliest, and cleanest range....the RO's are very knowledgeable and helpful.....

Jim Rugh: Very professionally and safely run by DNR, well maintained. Flush toilets! Note: Due to Covid-19 they have roped off every other lane, so be sure to get there early or you may have to wait. Also they had to remove all "high touch" objects like sandbags, spotting scopes and visitor benches (although they do still have a plastic chair at each lane). So if you need those things bring your own.

Emily Noblin: Attended an event recently. Made for a nice venue, however the bartender was extremely rude to my fiancé the day of the event, and the day after. He simply asked for a glass of coke since he would be driving and did not want to drink alcohol. Rudely, she refused to give him just soda and informed him it was for mixed drinks only. And in order to buy soda it was cash only downstairs. I think that’s ridiculous honestly.
