Tj: Went with my Dad (72) me (45) and my son (12) we shot at the indoor range for 1hr. We rented 3 different guns, a .380. A 9mm and a .40 with a box of ammo each for the lane the rentals and ammo it was $125 well worth the money for the great time we had. Very professional and knowledgeable. They are a premium store so expect the best product and expect to pay a premium but if the best is what your looking for Williams is hands down where to go.
Jack Frost: Much better than they used to be, haven’t seen the former rude staff in a while. All the new staff is very pleasant to deal with. And the ladies at the checkout are always wonderful.
Gary Danielson: I have been here many times. Good place. Came in today to shoot and was told that we had to wait for a lane. Lady said it would be about 10 minutes. Sat at the table for 20 minutes waiting when a group of guys entered the store, went to the counter, paid and was given a lane. Not sure what to say. After she glanced our way momentarily,, my son and I did not say anything and simply left the store dumbfounded and disappointed.

I purchased a couple of my pistols from here and had a couple serviced here as well. If you haven't been in a couple years like myself recently, you'll be blown away at what the store has become. It's amazing, they've really put a lot of time and money into the establishment and it shows. Their pride for their local business is evident and that makes people proud to be customers!

Many of the reviews sound disappointed, but buying any weapon should be researched prior to going to a gunstore. Wise buyers research before they shop for any expensive purchase. Don't blame the salesman for a lack of your knowledge.

From buying long guns, hand guns, NFA items, doing their layaway program, ammo, optics, using their ranges, or attending the events they put on. They are one of the best gun stores in the area for what they have to offer. They've grown a lot over the past 15 years.

Chris Cole: My wife went here to purchase a Christmas present. Her not knowing a lot about guns she was relying on Williams staff for guidance. Instead they were rude and condescending. The selection is great at Williams but they will lose multiple customers over this visit and my previous visits. I am actually bummed she even gave Williams an of our money. So here's a review for the last two times I myself have visited AND the visit she had to endure. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere you're treated like a customer should be treated. Customer service is obviously not a priority at Williams. Thoroughly disgusted in their customer service on more than one occasion.

David McEachern: The people behind the gunsmith desk were a frustrating combination of dismissive and unhelpful both times I've gone. That said, the range was very nice and that particular part of the shop is the exception.
Jim Bernethy: Took my gun in to get serviced for a cycling issue only for them to "fix" the issue. They stated they "drilled out the gas port "which they did not upon further inspection after I picked it up and ended up having the same issue. I personally drilled out the port and it works like a charm now. Btw they charged me $180 to not fix anything about it.

The 4 employees that actually do come in and work hard are doing all they can, but need to cover shifts and responsibilities of 10 other employees who are not there. Not because they didn't show up, or had the day off, just because this store only has 4 employees. Customers get upset, saying, " you need to tell more people to come in and work!" When all the while, I'm sure the employees just want to say, " We'll, this is all we have! We can bring people in to work who aren't employed to work. And no one wants employment anywhere, but they want money and they want to complain when you aren't working. Or doing all you can with what you have (left).

We try to support local small businesses but sometimes incompetence makes that impossible. DO NOT GO THERE FOR GUNSMITH WORK YOU WILL REGRET IT!! Odysseus King of Ithaca: Not a bad store. But it helps if you know more about what you are looking for. Some staff are a tad stubborn in their ways. Just be loud, greet the entire store and be straight to the point. This is not the place, in my opinion, to debate gun data. They have a good selection of new and antique firearms and the ammo needed. They also have a decent accessory selection like Holsters, Belts, sights, traps etcetera. Have bought Firearms and Ammo here many times. They also offer a CPL Class for 100 bucks.
