Anne Stevenson: We were not happy with the work this company did. The sales person and the foreman did not communicate correctly and the first work was unacceptable and not what we asked for. They came back to "fix" it, but it took two weeks (while our stuff from the garage was sitting on the patio). When they did come back they argued about doing the repairs at all, but finally completed it.

Tiffany Marra: RetroFoam sprayed closed cell insulation into the rim joists of my basement and into a small storage area under a stairwell and platform. Crew 9 (Hunter, Casey, and Matt) were very professional, efficient and nice. They went above and beyond to ensure every gap was sealed, including climbing into a very tight space to help recover old insulation so that their seal would be complete. The did a good job putting up plastic before starting and cleaned up when the job was complete. Great experience overall that started with Clayton, who provided a free estimate and the office to reschedule. While many websites said closed cell foam would be smelly, it really isn't that bad even after the job was just finished. Overall, I'm very pleased with this company!

Sandy Armbrustmacher: I contacted RetroFoam recently as I was interested in having the walls of my home insulated. I picked them because of the excellent rating given to them by the Better Business Bureau and after reading the great reviews given by satisfied customers. I’m so happy I chose them!They have a calculator online that I used to get an idea as to how much the project would cost so I was not surprised when the estimate given by the representative was pretty close to the online figure. What surprised me is that I was given a 17% discount once I agreed to the project. Can’t tell you how wonderful of a surprise that was!!!The crew (#3), Denny, Mike, Mark, Devine, Brendan, arrived on time and quickly went to work. They worked hard and moved efficiently from one side of the house to the next like a well oiled machine. When they finished they made sure to clean up so you couldn’t tell they were even there. Thomas Tipton: A RetroFoam crew installed open cell foam insulation in the upstairs roof area of my 1.5 story home. So far the change in the level of comfort up there has been amazing. The Philzone: Kevin and his team insulated our attic on Friday. His team that did the work told me that I would notice a big difference. They were right. We live in a Colonial home. We have lived in this home for 20 years, and it has always been cold in the winter, and hot in the summer upstairs. They said I may have to turn the thermostat down. Well the first night it was noticeably warmer upstairs. My wife that is always cold said the next day that it was warm, and conferable upstairs, that speaks volumes. Because of the way they treat their Employees, and what they pay them, I had too leave. They only do the bare Minimum, and cut corners on everything they do too save money! In my opinion these people are Crook’s, and Criminal’s. Because too avoid paying their employees overtime, is Tax Evasion!!
Ryan Zaremba: I hired them to bring my attic insulation up to code. Great choice. They were very professional and offered more services than other companies I talked to. For example, Sunray was the only place that offered to insulate the cantilever and route my bathroom fan outside. The cantilever was a great idea because the two bedrooms that sit on it were very drafty in the winter. Turns out there was no insulation at all. Much better now. I highly recommend them.
Kathy Williams: Wow! In the process of building our new home I met with several different insulating companies, read countless articles about insulation, and "did my research" on water barriers, vapor barriers, thermal bridging, etc. After meeting with three other companies, I was incredibly discouraged . . . no one knew how to super-insulate a home and how to work with exterior foam sheathing. Bryan: I've done business with this company 3 times.First - They were late and the gentlemen didn't want to work. They ended up handling and sending someone else out, so we let it slide.Second - Did the job as expected and timely.Third - WHAT A DISASTER! The owner Ron quoted me for a job that they had NEVER done before. The poor labor guys were trying to use 5/16" STAPLES to hang insulation blankets in a ceiling. They then offered to switch the insulation type and owner offered a silly "discount". I suggested they get the correct materials to do the job they sold me (still didn't realize they hadn't done it before at this point). They did and began to install. Just an utter joke. Guys that were onsite were trying their hardest and it just wasn't going well. After 7 hours, I made them rip it down completely and leave. The owner Ron never offered to complete the job with the correct insulation. He said "well I learned something today, never try something new". WHY on earth would you try something new on a customer's job that is paying you THOUSANDS? After waiting over a month for my insulation they wasted my time, made a mess and left. Thankfully I didn't put down a deposit or I believe this company would have kept it. The labor guys had more pride than the owner.

From the estimate to the installation we were very impressed with their level of knowledge and expertise. We were having a problem with ice blockage due to insufficient insulation. They were able to identify the problem and deal with it for our sanctuary building. They did a wonderful job. We would highly recommend them.

His son Stoney made an on-site visit, inspected the garage walls & attic, took measurements and provided a quote and detailed explanation before he left. Very thorough and no hard sell. Be prepared to wait a bit for the actual installation, but it’s worth it. Remember, great companies are in demand. My installation was about 6 weeks after the inspection & quote, but they showed up on time on the scheduled date. The two installers, Tyler and Tim, were outstanding. Both were very professional and also very pleasant to deal with. They installed insulation in my garage attic and walls, showed me pictures from the attic, thoroughly explained the work they had done and cleaned up my garage so that it was actually cleaner than when they started. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this company if you have home insulation needs. But only if you like dealing with true professionals who are also nice people.

They even went beyond their job when they noticed some ceiling lights were incorrectly installed and corrected the installation. I immediately noticed a big difference in the temperature of our home. Our second floor has always been very cold. You could start to feel the coldness about halfway up the staircase. The R60 insulation they installed in our attic has made a huge difference.
