To Ca: Last mnth when the snow really hit i searched high and low for a Husqvarna belt to replace mine in my snowblower. I literally called 10 different places and either they didn't carry it or care to search to help me find one. (most of them were a tad rude!) Finally the last place i called was Nate's and he was more than willing to look up parts for me, had the belt (so i bought two), and even showed me a trick to put it on faster than i was doing. The dog was pretty cool too!

Called 3 times and the 1st time couldn't even find it and then said his guy was going to look at it tomorrow. Mind you...this was two weeks after I took it there. Same thing the 2nd and 3rd time. Now he won't answer the phone or return numerous messages.

Patrick Griffith: They charged me $130 to replace a plastic carb on a $150 mower. These can be serviced! They would rather waste your money on a way too expensive part. Took a month. Do yourself a favor, scrap your old mower and buy a new one. At least your grass will be mowed. Also, they charged me triple for a rider starter relay. $21 for a $9 part online. Was trying to support the local guy but dang. While buying, the repair guy came out of the back to lecture me on how many people install them the wrong way. Felt like he was fear mongering for the labor sale.

Time went by and husband never had the time to look at it himself. Gave to some family with someone who had time to work on it, found out the gas line had been pinched.

Robert McAvinchey: I needed a new chain for my Husqvarna chainsaw. Flushing Lawn and Tractor was just around the corner from where I've been living so I thought I'd stop there first. A seemingly unremarkable store from the outside, thoroughly impressed me once I was inside. They deal in Stihl chainsaws and such, have a wall to wall inventory of every lawn maintenance tool you could use AND, had exactly the chain I needed for my saw. They also had the two in one Stihl chain saw file system to fit my chains so, I purchased that as well. This is by far the best handheld, in the field, sharpening system you'll find. It sharpens the chain and files down the depth gage(raker) at the same time, with precision. And this modest little store on Mt. Morris Road, just east of the Flint River, had everything I needed, right around the corner! If you've seen the place and gone by it, stop by sometime. You won't be disappointed. RMc

Hayden Ramm: I have no clue how this place has good reviews....I took my tractor in for service over the summer due to spuddering while mowing. Immediately they were in the defense how they can’t diagnose without an engine spec number (which of course makes it harder, but not impossible). After over a week and a few phone calls they said they can’t continue working on it because there was 3 stripped screws on the a trim panel. These screws could have been drilled out in about 30 seconds and replaced (which I authorized). They charged me $230 for absolutely nothing. When I came to pick up my mower it wouldn’t even start, which they knew but didn’t tell me until I came with a trailer to pick it up. They dragged it out of their shop with a fork lift and refused to help load it. They left my mower in the middle of the parking lot and closed the doors.I work as a service advisor in the automotive field so I know how this works. This is a shop that throws parts at a problem until it’s fixed rather than properly diagnosing. Do yourself a favor and take your service needs elsewhere.

I handed him the money & he handed me the receipt, and he was in such a hurry and "NOW I KNOW WHY!!" After he left, I started it, it is squealing & smoking, and ran it on the grass and it didn't look as though it was cutting very well so I shut if off and tipped it over, and that is when I had realized HE NEVER SHARPENED THE BLADE!" I immediately came in here and called him, I confronted his work and asked why he didn't sharpen the Blades and he TRIED to say that it wasn't discussed! Now again MIND YOU His Company name has "Specialty of SHARPENING!" He also said well I also didn't do it to save you ,money!!" WHAT???? I said "let me tell you something, you don't WORRY ABOUT CONTROLLING MY MONEY!! I RAISED MY CHILDREN & ALONE!! I hired you to DO A JOB at the price & understanding of what you were to do to it!" He was going to take it back and sharpen the blade and then decided to NOT MAKE IT RIGHT! Oh he handed me back my MONEY and I said NO I want my mower running NOT THE MONEY! I said you kn ow what... that's FINE I grabbed the money & that is where it ended! It is a shame that when we place TRUST in others, this kind of stuff occurs!! Very untrustworthy as far as I'm concerned!! Make you own decision, but this is how it ended with his work for myself! God Speed & hope your experience is better than mine provided you hire him!
