Annie: This is a 2 Star Hotel overall. Our recent stay was subpar and if we are in the area again we won’t stay here. If you’re looking for a place with a nice pool and quality breakfast, I suggest you look elsewhere. Overall, they keep the place clean aside from the pool area which was grossly neglected.Pros- location right off the highway, easy check in, room was clean, common areas were clean. Breakfast area was clean and kept tidy, and there were lots of places to sit and eat. So overall cleanliness was good.Cons- pool water was CLOUDY & NASTY! Heavily heavily chlorinated (beyond what a hotel pool is, bc I know they have higher levels anyway) and gave my 2 year old a rash. Pool deck had trash laying around, sharp pieces of plastic from something that had broken, wet dirty towels lying around, and very minimal seating. Pool towels also ran out, so I had to walk to the front desk dripping wet to ask for one. Noisy, other guests were making noise in the hall until 2am- I believe there was a family reunion or something but it was disrespectful to other guests, and woke us up. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, the quality of the eggs and pancakes could greatly be improved.

Danny Marsh: Lady at the front was helpful . Thats where the good ends . Never felt so unsafe in my life . Security latch left next to the door with the screws out of the wall . Room stunk . Bed was squeaky . Never slept in it so I can't speak to its cleanliness . I couldn't get over how uncomfortable I felt so I booked another hotel after about 10 minutes in the room . Maybe the sweater left in the parking lot or the charcoal grill setup or the auto parts resting on the curb no longer attached to a vehicle gave me the wrong impression but its amazing how much better after I left there and spent more money on another hotel . I wouldn't suggest this to anyone . If its the only room left in town , I would go to another town .

Kevin Holman: Rooms are loaded with roaches I seen multiple bugs in 2 rooms. I rented a room for 2 nights and had to ask for my money back I can't stay in a hotel with roaches. Only received half my 100 dollars for my stay and was in the room a total of an hour and seen 3 roaches. You gotta spend over 100 a nite anymore to not sleep with bed bugs and roaches. I'd advise people to save their money

Faith Ackerman: The sheets were stained dark brown. The comforter had cigarette burns on it in 3 spots. The door lock was broken. The door jam looked like it was about to fall out of the frame. All the cabinets were in rough shape wood was rotted away. There was nothing pleasant about the red roof inn in flint. I said something to the front desk attendant and she had no response to anything I told her.

Noah Whitfill: It was late and I gave it a chance but....This place is an absolute dump! ZERO stars. The front desk employees are extremely unprofessional. It seems like this company will hire anyone off the street and literally not train them! When I got there they under charged me by mistake...after trying to correct the situation they then OVER charged me a very large sum of money by mistake! So incompetent! I went to inspect the rooms....gross! All of the furniture is literally falling apart and the entire room smelled of urine! Who ever owns this place lacks integrity and self respect because there was trash everywhere in the parking lot and in near the front entrance. If you look at this hotel the outside does match the inside. Just drive away and go somewhere else.

Rooms need to be updated old marked up furniture with chunks of wood missing and a chair from the 70's with that much dust accumulated on it... layers of caulk around jacuzzi and wall paper peeling off... smoke alarm was hanging down by wires and the extra lock was hanging off the door by one screw... ceiling fan about to fall off inches of dust on it... was surprised they get almost $200 a night for that

Rob Latimer: Caution! Stay away. This hotel has been worn out and is still in service. The rates may be ok but the real story begins: I was away at a party and recieved a call from the manager at 12:47 a.m. saying I have something in my room that I can't have.When I arrive the manager asked to see my ID and said that they had a smoking complaint on our floor. They entered our room while we were gone and went through our bags and found our legally owned and carried pistol. The manager said the pistol was in plain sight but when we got to our room the pistol was stuffed way down in our bag. The staff obviously went through our bags. Apparently Baymont by Wyndam in Flint has a no pistol policy at their hotel in Flint...lol. Just go somewhere else. There was another black couple that the management walked into their room when the management was investigating the same smoking complaint. Seriously, stay away. Baymont by Wyndham in Flint is obviously anti civil rights. I would expect some measure of privacy in our room when we rent it. The Cracker Barrel resturant next door is not much better...Safety: This hotel chain has a guest no firearm policy with only an overweight unarmed security guard protecting the property. Jessica Valdez: My husband and I stayed this past weekend and had multiple issues with the room, I spoke to multiple different staff and finally the morning shift girl if I recall her name it was Sky came in and was able to get us in a different room and solve all of our issues right away for us to finish off being able to say we had an enjoyable stay! Thank you Sky for being able to fix our issues so quickly & thank you Baymont for a quick and easy stay while our basement was flooded!
