Larry Soule: Make sure you arrive a few minutes early. The clinic is on the 2nd floor, so you have to go thru security to get to it. The security I met were God people, but when it gets busy for other things, they can get busy. The actual staff is all amazingly friendly and helpful.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is looking for standard tests or check ups; as anywhere else will be faster than here. Only gets 1 star because of the receptionists, but I would give 0 for urgency(when it’s an Urgent care!) and professionalism. Also has water damage bringing down the ceiling tiles near the right side waiting room windows.

J Kilpatrick: Hi 👋🏽 I had to use the Flushing Urgent Care branch twice over the weekend on once on Saturday and again this Monday morning. They were totally crowded and overwhelmed. Especially during this triple threat year of COVID, Flu, and RSV going around.The phone was ringing off the hook. People popping in and out looking to see how many people were waiting to decide whether or not to stay. Howe did a great job getting everyone in and out as quickly as possible.Although it may there may be wait at times… it can clear quickly since a lot of people leave before before they’re called and some people are just there for simple tests, results, or an Rx.

Jessica Matthews: The African American doc there is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional when I came in I heard her speaking about someone’s lashes and how she looked her up on fb.. continuously talked about a patients bad make-up. When she got in the room with me she argued with me about my symptoms and then just walked out. If she is there I won’t stay. Another time she told another lady to take her son to another urgent care she really have a horrible attitude.

The female behind the desk looks at my sign in sheets and saw that I marked runny nose, then proceeds to tell me that the Doctor is going to call me and give me a prescription over the phone. HOW? I'm not taking any medication if i haven't been seen and you don't really know what's wrong with me. I saidthis is ridiculous and the female behind the counter wanted to tune up. I politely told her I understand you have a policy, but I also have an opinion. I was told a Doctor was going to call me withing the hour. That was 1 hr and 38 minutes ago. Save yourself the trip. Go on up the street to the emergency room. At least it doesn't smell like pee.

Brittny Giles: They say their open to 9:00pm but I get there at 8:30pm and all the lights are off, and there is no workers there. If they close at 8:00 or 8:30 the sign should be updated as well as their online profile. It’s very frustration to show up before 9:00pm and it’s closed when gas is over $4 a galloon and I’m driving from across the city. If they close at 8:00 it would be helpful to know . Most places closes at 8:00 pm now, if they do too now that’s fine but the sign say 9

She prescribed medicine that was for something other than my condition which I would have been fine with if she prescribed the correct ones after my test results came in. She didn’t call back after test results were received. On top of all that, the “doctor” had an attitude and did not take the appointment seriously. Rolling her eyes and giggling. I thought she was racist until I came here and read the same remarks by black women on here too.I’d honestly be surprised at this point if she’s even licensed because this was unlike any service I’ve ever had. I will be reporting her. All around bad service. Please go to the urgent care on Linden Road instead. You won’t regret it.

Viper Miller: This place is a joke. I will be calling my lawyer and the health department and reporting them for malpractice. They told me I did not have a uti so I was scared and got treated as if I had a std/sti they said my urine culture would come back in 5-7 days I asked them to call either way. They never called so I had to call them they told me everything was negative as I'm still having symptoms so I had to go to my family doctor and turns out I have a severe uti now and I'm waiting for my culture's from another doctor to make sure it's nothing else. The nurse was rude because they were under staffed which is not my problem and the doctor lol didn't even look old enough to be q doctor and most definitely was unprofessional I could hear her and her only nurse talking abt me as I was in the rm but they are so "understaffed". Both of these women should not only consider finding a new career they should just do it. I can promise you will be hearing from my attorney or someone from the health department.

My waits to be seen were not long either which I value the office respecting my time.I saw Francesca (sp? And I've seems lot lol, maybe even too many.Jori the NP and Dr. Phung are both really sharp and their bedside manner is good. You can tell they aren't just being doctors because mom and dad wanted them to be. I think they really want to help people.It's surprisingly difficult to find doctors who aren't caught up in their ego. When a doctor is in their ego and trying to maintain their authority instead of listening to the patient, it isn't fun for the doctor or the patient. Creates tension.They don't do that here. At least all the people I've interacted with.I feel cared for, and seen and heard. That's important.Four stars because they advertise on the tablets during check in. They advertise medication in a doctor's office, directly to the patient. It's probably easier to make an argument that such marketing is unethical than it would be to argue otherwise. Also they pump in ads on a TV that has programming that's mixed up with pharma ads. Like it's a channel just for doctor offices lol. Madness.Gave me a bad blood pressure reading.I'm considering filing a civil suit because if it. It's so annoying . Nothing will happen except me losing money but oh well. It's illegal to advertise pharmaceuticals at all in countries that have better laws. It's illegal for a reason.But other than the unethical advertising it's a good clinic.Namaste

Autumn Nemitz: Have had multiple issues with this practice involving scheduling and miscommunication. Even spoke with the supervisor regarding this issue and she assured me some one from the front office would call me to reschedule my appt. Waited and waited but never received a call. Had to end up calling them for medication refills and was advised I needed an appointment for that, but the schedule was booked out for 3 weeks. THEN a staff member had the audacity to tell me I needed to take some responsibility for them not reaching me to schedule the appt. Extremely unprofessional environment. Discharging myself from this practice TODAY.

I've been to the location twice and both times, the experience was great.My criteria for a review includes: knowledgeable and friendly customer service, cleanliness, limited waiting time, and a personable experience with the practitioner. This clinic met or exceeded my standards of approval. 😃 There are signs everywhere telling you where to go and lots of information about veteran-related events and groups. The waiting room is spacious and the clinic carries decorative motifs from the Ann Arbor hospital - that's a cute touch!I've had multiple phone/video conferences that have gone well. I have been pretty impressed with the practitioners I have dealt with - I felt like they read my file, listened to my concerns and truly hold fast to the idea that the mental and physical are interrelated and treating the entire person leads to more positive and lasting outcomes. I received phone calls regarding referrals within 24 hours- from both employees in Ann Arbor and Flint.There seems to be really strong communication between AA and Flint, which is a good thing.Overall, I am really happy I made the switch from AA to Flint. I read the reviews before I did, and I was a little concerned, to be honest but I have been really surprised and satisfied.Shout out to Dr. Collings and Jason at the front desk! 👏

Brian Garner: I'm a little upset with a Dr. at the VA Flint Outpatient Clinic. I called to let the Dr. know I would be about ten minutes late for an hour long appointment.When I got there, I had to wait 5 minutes to check in at the ONE brand new Kiosk that the person in front of me had no clue how to use and had to get help using. After unsuccessfully trying to check in at the Kiosk (approximately 20 minutes late), I had to go talk to the gal at the front desk. There, I was informed the Dr. wasn't even in the building when I had originally called at 8:45 am to inform her I was running late (coincidentally, 8:45 am was the actual time my appointment had been scheduled for...she should have been there, right?). I was also informed by the gal at the front desk that it is up to the Dr. if she wants to keep appointments that are 10 or more minutes late. So, the gal at the front desk contacted the Dr. to see if she would keep the appointment. So, the gal at the front desk (who I'm not upset with in any way) informed me that the Dr. said it was too late to see me. She told me that the Dr. wanted me to reschedule my appointment.Now, It's important to know that in the past, I've never waited less than 15-20 minutes for any of my previous appointments with her. It is also important to know that my appointments with her have never gone the full hour that they had been scheduled for. In my opinion, this was because the Dr. has always been late for my appointments. It is also important to know that the VA Flint Outpatient Clinic is not a private Dr. office. Appointments are not double/triple booked. If an appointment doesn't go for any reason, the Dr. isn't seeing someone else for that time slot.Apparently, the Dr.'s time is more important than mine? The Dr. had to wait this one time because of me (but, as we know, she really didn't because, as usual, she was actually late to the appointment herself), and the Dr. gets to cancel my appointment?If I ever go back to see that Dr., I'm going to walk out if I have to wait on her for more that ten minutes, and I'm not going to leave until I've had my full hour appointment regardless of whether the appointment starts on time and regardless of what time the appointment would have naturally ended.

John S.: My primary care”Dr” at this clinic spent the majority of my visit today lecturing me about not being seen in two years. The reason I hadn’t been in there is because THEY kept cancelling my appt and after the second cancellation I just quit going and started paying for care (which we can’t afford). The dr wore a surgical mask throughout the visit and after shaking my hand immediately washed her hands.She belittled me and showed absolutely zero respect. I have never felt so low after leaving a doctors office. To make matters worse I take depression medication that they won’t fill until I see one of their doctors again. Was very rude and snarky. Told me twice to keep an eye on him so he doesn’t get hurt there too.” (Had opened a cabinet when she walked in and another time was just playing) As we were leaving, I asked for a bag to put his belongings in and she went to hand it to me and would NOT let go. Pretty much had to pry it out of her hands. Then she told me to “make sure I kept his bandage tight so he didn’t suffocate.” She was also rough with my son when giving him his medicine and only talked to him when there were doctors in the room. She does not belong in an ER working with children.As for the doctors, they were wonderful with my son and treating him and the Head Nurse was kind to us.

Jessica Stewart: My dad received care yesterday evening through today at Hurley, and I want to share some highlights on his quality of care. While the wait was long, this is expected given the staffing shortages many hospitals face and the increased number of patients seeking medical care. I do not fault Hurley for the length of the wait because this is a universal problem, and everyone is doing their best under these circumstances.I first want to hightlight an absoltuely outstanding RN who cared for my dad in the emergency room, Jenna. Jenna’s bedside manner was genuine, empathetic, and caring. Jenna was able to ensure that my dad received the care he needed, while creating a safe space where my dad felt a sense of ease. Jenna also ensured I was comfortable while we waited and offered me a warm blanket and something to drink, checking in often. She even went out of her way to grab me a hot coffee since it was 4 am and the cafeteria was closed. Our stay was long in the ER until he was admitted; however, I felt confident my dad was in the best of hands during this time. Jenna, if you see this, thank you for being such a light by showing true compassion for your patients and a sense of warmth. Your nurturing approach to my dad made the most significant impact on him when he was feeling confused and unsure.Both doctors who treated my dad in the ER were professional and thorough. They ensured they gave my dad the tests and medical care he needed. Our second ER doctor talked with me about my dad's condition and any concerns. They were also wonderful.Once my dad was admitted to the hospital, we switched nurses and had Pete. Pete was kind, compassionate, and attentive to my dad. He offered his hand when my dad became emotional and gave my dad reassurance that he was in a safe space. He was friendly and made my dad feel more comfortable. Thank you, Pete!All of the nursing staff and doctors that we interacted with during his stay were really amazing.Everyone has different experiences at hospitals, and not everything will be perfect; however, I was incredibly moved and impressed by the fantastic care he received from Jenna, Pete, the ER doctors, and other nursing staff.

Krystal: Make the drive to memorial hospital in Owosso, my son and I should have, they only employ professionals who are absolutely passionate about their jobs. Can't speak for the whole hospital, there are a couple graceful toke d in the building. The police at memorial are more helpful and understanding as well. Make the drive.

Tracy Allis: Currently here with my dad. Started really great in ER Dr Webber then sent us to group 2 team admitted and nothing at all. Probably UTI / bladder and No treatment at all? What are we waiting for to die? Restricted fluids and what would you think happens. Kidney disease. We got him sitting up nurses did nothing other than a hot tea for us and then basic BP and blood oxygen. No diagnosis other than “we are collaborating”. Hahaha no no no diagnosis or treatment. Believe me I will pursue action if this ends up what I think they are doing. We are not allowing a healthy guy with new stents to be left with infection for days without treatment. Seriously. Then put him in a room with infectious disease person they are having to amputate a leg due to not being able to fix infection. This hospital and McLaren need investigated.

Issa Abuaita: It’s only 2 child patients waiting for 7 hours and they come out and tell no rooms available, there is only one nurse in all of the ER section and 10 janitors, your child runs out of breath and they don’t care all they tell you we short on nurses or we don’t have rooms.If you interrupt their nap they become terrible with attitude and basically almost tell you they don’t care abt your child. Never go there again!!!!!!

Brianna Young: There is no other place in Michigan I would have my babies! I had a high risk pregnancy and an emergency induction with my baby being in nicu for two weeks. My child is healthy and growing thanks to the wonderful staff.

Sarah Fosnow: My son was in a terrible car wreck in Flint right before Christmas. He was pretty banged up, including a broken jaw. We mostly had good care, but something needs done about Dr. Ronald Stewart DDS. I have personally left him a negative review. He is the rudest doctor I have ever met and we had issues with him in hospital and outside of hospital when it came to after care. His office is disgusting and he shouldn't be putting his hands in anyone's mouth in that environment. I have much to say and would like to talk to someone at the hospital about this very unprofessional professional.

Chuck Glo: This rating is for the emergency department only wouldn’t recommend coming here if it’s life or death been in this waiting room for ages just waiting for a room the front desk staff are rude when you come to ask simple questions seats an tables are filthy barely wanna sit anywhere because it’s used Urine cups left behind at these seats an nobody has came to retrieve them yet I came here because I been dealing with a sharp pain in my throat that led to me coughing up blood so I’m just tryna make sure I’m alright before I go on with my day but so far this has been a lackluster experience

Maria Ralston: I'm currently sitting in their hallway in a wheelchair in critical limb ischemia with got going black and I haven't even seen a Dr a nurse NOTHIN and we were already told I need surgery asap but don't matter here I guess. No controlling of the pain no doing nothing at all. Don't come here it's completely ridiculous and now I understand why they are only a 2.9 ⭐ GO TO DIFFERENT ER AS THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!
