McLaren Flint: what do users think?
Lisa Lewis: I went in for preadmission testing. Everything was quick and everyone was friendly
Nadia Biagini: Visiting from Horseshoe Bay Texas, complaining my ears are sore and ringing. Thought it was from flying. Doctor thought it maybe related to allergies. NOPE! Still ringing, hurting especially when laying down. I like to say, the facility was clean, front desk was kind and the Doctor was pleasant. Overall, I wished my EARS would STOP RINGING and HURTING!
Jeremy Henman: Place is a dump, and everything they do takes literally FOREVER.Went to the ER for a couple of tests, and 8 hours later I still have no idea when they're going to be done. This after working an 8 hour shift before I came in, I feel like I'm in jail and they're never gonna let me out. They have a goal of 180 minutes from door to discharge, and I was here for about 3 times longer than that all for them to tell me that it was probably nothing but a muscle strain.
Brandi Carr: Fast and friendly. I went to Fenton er not flint.
Christian Stoinski: This hospital is a joke. My girlfriend came in with chest pains/low breathing. Before ANY TESTING OR OBSERVATION was done the doctor pulled her to the side and said her EKG was good when she never even had one. After we asked the receptionist to double check what that was about, she looked in her computer for my girlfriends name and she couldn’t even find it. I’ll drive 30 minutes to another hospital before we ever come here again. Been to multiple hospitals and this one has easily been the biggest unorganized sh*t show I’ve ever seen.
Amy Hagerman: Great 1st experience here.
Nancy Beecher: The Endoscopy center is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful.Very clean, bright and plenty of seating
Mike Connelly: First off I waited FOREVER TO BE SEEN!! 2NDLY I was misdiagnosed by the attending ER Dr.3rdly , The ER room was full of vagrants sleeping all over the available chairs...That said the nurses were excellent...
Christopher Jenkins: It's not my experience there but my ex-wifes which cant review because she's dead 12 floor horrible staff. Neglect 4 hour after catheter started leaking finally did some. 15 min after yelling she going kill hershelf in a gown she signed herself out
Eunice Keely: My husband had surgery at the surgery center. It was on schedule, very competent nurses. Spoke to doctor, left with complete info and instruction review. Nurse followed up the next day on the phone. We both left feeling with less apprehension,
Sanford Bragman: I was referred by a walk in urgent care facility to the Emergency Unit in Fenton to obtain blood work. I presented to the clerk in the Emergency Unit and gave her the order prepared by the Urgent Care Facility. The Emergency Unit did not seem very busy. After about 30 minutes wait time I was escorted by a nurse to an examination room. The nurse asked why I was there. I advised him that the order from the Urgent Care Facility was given to the intake clerk. He advised that he was not given the order. I explained the reason for my visit and he said he would check with the clerk. He took my vitals and advised me to remove my shoe and socks to allow the physician providing service to examine my foot. I pointed out to the nurse that the bed in the room had soiled sheets and he left. After an hour and a half of no contact I approached an employee who was passing by my now open door room to inquire what was going on? He said he would check. He returned shortly with a copy of my medication list that I had also presented to the clerk upon check in. After about another 20 minutes of no contact, I put my shoes and socks back on and started to leave the facility. As I past the nursing station, the nurse who I had seen was sitting at the desk. He questioned where I was going. I advised that I was leaving in that I had not seen anyone in almost 2 hours since he left and was supposed to have returned to advise me if the order from the Urgent Care had been located. His comment to me as I left was, "You haven't been seen by a doctor?" "We are very busy you know". I LEFT. The worst experience I have had with a medical facility. I have had 40 years of experience working in Multi Hospital Health Care Systems. This particular facility needs a refresher education on proper communication.
Shaun Davis: Very satisfying with service
charlie ross: The following is an email I sent to the supervisor in the area of my stay:Dear Ms. Claxton,I recently spent two days in room 1220, bed 1. I can't tell you how much I appreciated the care I received from the professionals and support staff on the twelfth floor. All were genuinely caring and concerned with my diagnosis and treatment and treated me with dignity and respect. You have developed a true team dynamic and it is very obvious.I would like to give a special acknowledgement to RN's Mellisa and Sheri. Also deserving mention are Dasia and Jen.Thank you for your leadership and the culture you have created.
Mrs Woodley: My friend was alive and well June 2021 he visits that hospital and does August 2021 smh
Riley Simmington: DO NOT go to Mclaren Flint. Fraudulent billing by Briana Corpt, PA for services never received! This hospital is predatory and only sees patients as an avenue for revenue. They will outsource your bill to a 3rd party company and disable you from appealing their fraudulent and predatory billing activities.I was never seen by any medical professional and received no treatment.I am still fighting a $972 medical bill over a year later. In January 2022 I visited Mclaren Hospital in Flint. The ER was a complete mess... filthy with trash everywhere and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days at least.Patients were groaning in suffering pain all around me. My insurance information was quickly gathered by an employee. I waited and waited, in excruciating pain ... 12 hours in fact, never to be seen by any nurse or doctor. I left and went elsewhere to receive treatment.A couple months later, I received a bill for $972. I was billed under Procedure: 99284, which is fraudulent. (I was never treated) Mclaren quickly sold my 'debt' to some company called Degara App, PLLC. Despite appealing the bill multiple times, debt collectors keep calling and threatening me with consequences for my credit score or a lawsuit.Avoid Mclaren Flint at all costs, they are predatory and only see patients as an avenue for cash.
lisa matthews: Nurses need to be re-educated on use of BP cuffs. It should fit snug and firm not cut off circulation or cause patient undue extreme pain which raises BP, thereby not giving an accurate reading. Pre/post op nurses get the extra star.
Martin Burnash: Great heart surgeon (Dr. Hasne). Outstanding nurses and excellent rooms
john. bivins: Professional and caring staff
monica phelps: Everyone was great! I am always nervous and the staff was very patient.
John Pewinski: If you expect to be treated in a timely manner please drive to a different state and get treated there. 16 hours in the waiting room. Staff seems to be busy, not sure if they just don’t have a big enough building. People being treated in the waiting room and just leaving after a long wait.
Cortney McCarty: My grandmother arrived last night around 11pm, via ambulance (as she cannot drive). They diagnosed her with COVID. It is now almost 3pm the following day and my grandmother is in a wheelchair in the waiting room after being told they wanted to admit her to monitor for a few days.I am not angry with the staff. But I do have a bone to pick with Mclaren system for allowing people to be so over-worked and improperly staffed that an elderly woman is left to wait 16 hours from arrival and to be left in a wheelchair unattended! She doesn't walk well, she has COVID and just stick her with all the other people, no big deal, hey?! Thank God my mother is able to spend an entire day sitting with her.Let me make this clear... if ANYTHING happens as a result of this neglect, this will not be the last you hear from me! If she has so much as a red mark from sitting in that wheelchair all day, I will drive the 7 hours from my home, to file my complaint in person. If she can be discharged, then do it. If she can be transferred, make it happen. Otherwise, find her a bed, NOW!

Hurley Medical Center Emergency Room: what do users think?
Patrick Patterson: Horrible customer service. Nurses talking about people in the waiting area. They said they the best in the city such as doctors and nurses but you never see them because you still sitting in the waiting room for 4 HOURS! I’m still here waiting. This is horrible!
meg Zombie: If you have no way of transportation do not go to the hospital because they will make you stay there for Over 24 hours no transportation and force you to be trapped there
Miss: I wouldn’t give any stars if I could!!! Worst hospital ever!!!! Doctors and nurses were very rude and made us feel very uncomfortable, my 1 year old was very sick, and they took forever to see him and acted like they didn’t care! Gave us the wrong diagnosis!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!! Never go here.
Olivia Burton: It was a long wait but all the people there were nice and it was super clean and food there was not that good.
Kat Stewart: I have never waited so long for a doctor, we were there in the waiting room for 6 hours, it was 1am by the time we just decided to get up and leave. Absolutely not okay.
Jessica Stewart: My dad received care yesterday evening through today at Hurley, and I want to share some highlights on his quality of care. While the wait was long, this is expected given the staffing shortages many hospitals face and the increased number of patients seeking medical care. I do not fault Hurley for the length of the wait because this is a universal problem, and everyone is doing their best under these circumstances.I first want to hightlight an absoltuely outstanding RN who cared for my dad in the emergency room, Jenna. Jenna’s bedside manner was genuine, empathetic, and caring. Jenna was able to ensure that my dad received the care he needed, while creating a safe space where my dad felt a sense of ease. Jenna also ensured I was comfortable while we waited and offered me a warm blanket and something to drink, checking in often. She even went out of her way to grab me a hot coffee since it was 4 am and the cafeteria was closed. Our stay was long in the ER until he was admitted; however, I felt confident my dad was in the best of hands during this time. Jenna, if you see this, thank you for being such a light by showing true compassion for your patients and a sense of warmth. Your nurturing approach with my dad made the most significant impact on him when he was feeling confused and unsure. Both doctors who treated my dad in the ER were professional and thorough. They ensured they gave my dad the tests and medical care he needed. Our second ER doctor talked with me about my dad's condition and any concerns. They were also wonderful.Once my dad was admitted to the hospital, we switched nurses and had Pete. Pete was kind, compassionate, and attentive to my dad. He offered his hand when my dad became emotional and gave my dad reassurance that he was in a safe space. He was friendly and made my dad feel more comfortable. Thank you, Pete! All of the nursing staff and doctors that we interacted with during his stay were really amazing.Everyone has different experiences at hospitals, and not everything will be perfect; however, I was incredibly moved and impressed by the fantastic care he received from Jenna, Pete, the ER doctors, and other nursing staff.
shaunna hartlerode: I have an uncle there who has been neglected to the point he wanted to stop a treatment the sustains his life. Waiting to hear from patient relations but also going to start letters to the medical board, and how ever high they need to go. Someone needs to be help accountable for the the sheer neglect behavior of theses so called “medical “ professionals
Nicole Robinson: Pregnant with bleeding possible miscarriage and left sitting in waiting room for 7 hours....chairs are the most uncomfortable things ever....just horrible
Evelyn Edder: No compassion for the sick. I came in this morning with dizziness and chest pain barely able to stand and "Noone" (the staff) offered a wheelchair. When called to the back it's obvious my equilibrium was off they let me hold the rail for support. No one cared if i made it in our out. The nurse watched me struggle to walk out back to the waiting area. The staff at the desk laughs loudly and talks about their personal lives. Its sad that Hurley have changed for the worst . This younger generation has no compaSsion for the sick just a paycheck. McClaren will be getting my service.
Debbie Nagayda: Excellent care of our 95 year old father, from the emergency room to the coronary ICU. Staff was top notch.
Heather: Been here 3 hours. Husband. Is puking and having diarrhea. He’s weak and having trouble walking and is in pain. They let people back who were watching videos and laughing! My husband is extremely I’ll and may be having issues with his ulcers but he is somehow falling behind someone who is laughing at videos on their phone. Go elsewhere!!!
Victoria Egan: 1 star for one occasion, 5 stars otherwiseI took my mom to the emergency room because I had a very strong feeling that my mom had suffered from a stroke, had all the signs and symptoms.I listed the symptoms to the lady checking me in, she said "ok,you're listing a bunch of things, but NONE of them have anything to do with a stroke,I'm not sure why you're saying it's a stroke" I said "if you put them all together, yes it does" She sends us to sit down, and we wait 15 HOURS in the emergency room. She had had a stroke and her brain was bleeding.the receptionist (or whatever the position) tried diagnosing her at the front desk and may have prolonged her sitting for 15 hours while her brain was bleeding. Seriously disgusted.
eric jacobs: Went there for mental health. Snowstorm hit and delayed meds in mail so I was without my 6 meds for 4 days and without sleep. They first confused me for a drunk dude and got my name wrong. Just wanted 1 say or emergency meds, go sent home 4 hours later with an Ativan and a thumbs up! Absolutely demeaning towards other patients there(not to me)
timothy wayne: Would give this place zero stars if that was an option. Brought my sister here because she was experiencing very bad vertigo and nausea and couldn’t drive. Spent 11 hours in the waiting room. Never got seen. Staff was unprofessional and kept saying she was priority. This place and staff are a complete joke. You’d get better care at a McDonalds.
Octavia Spiller: I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They put my mother who was a cancer patient on a floor full of COVID patients and caused her to catch COVID. Like I said 0 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
marie Proctor: I've been in the waiting room for 6 hours. I've had a migraine now for 4 days. I just need some migraine medication.
Christopher Van Buren: Hurley staff at the entrance, has no compassion for the visitors! Charity I believe her name is. She should not be helping people entering or leaving. TERRIBLE service 😡!
Natalie Osborne: They just want your moneyI almost never go to the doctor anymore because they just want your moneyI went anyways because I was scared and they told me a bunch of bull and pushed my concerns to the side.I asked if I owed anything and the lady said "no, you're good, your insurance covers it" but here I am a month later with an effing bill in the mail saying I have to pay them. I asked so I could pay right away in cash like a smart person and not have to worry about it. So much for that
Erika Gipson: Verrrrry slow. Hours spent waiting everytime.
The Dude: I waited in the ER for 13 hours with chest pains and stroke level blood pressure. Each time I addressed my issues with desk staff I was dismissed. There's no accountability and nobody seems to know anything. I finally left to seek treatment elsewhere. I'm trying to warn people NOT to seek treatment here. If the ER is that full, close it down! Also pay attention to the friendly corporate spin that is sure to be in the response to this review.
David Lunn: Long Long wait times

Hurley Medical Center: what do users think?
Vanilla Bean: Hurley use to be my favorite hospital. I'm extremely disappointed with the nurses in your peds ER. The wait times are unnecessary! Nurses and doctors sitting at their desk laughing and giggling instead of discharging patients.
Codi Poufcas: I went to Hureys for my girlfriend she was very sick sat there for over 12 hours and I was sitting looking out the window and there were about 4 nurses outside and the staff was like where are all the nurses I said outside and one of them flashed one of the security guards and when they seen I saw that they said I had to go because I was doing to much all I was doing was talking to the others who saw it also and so my girlfriend left and she is very sick so lost because McLean is worse
Olivia Privett: I came up here because my surgeon told me to so I can get test done because I can’t keep ANYTHING down been waiting 5 hours so far they won’t let me have ice even though I’m so dehydrated. People who came in after me are being called back. This is so dumb.
Stardust08: Took my toddler son to Hurley ER today and his pediatric nurse, Gwien, treated us horribly. She was extremely unprofessional and unkind. Lacked bedside manner of any kind. Was very rude and snarky. Told me twice to keep an eye on him so he doesn’t get hurt there too.” (Had opened a cabinet when she walked in and another time was just playing) As we were leaving, I asked for a bag to put his belongings in and she went to hand it to me and would NOT let go. Pretty much had to pry it out of her hands. Then she told me to “make sure I kept his bandage tight so he didn’t suffocate.” She was also rough with my son when giving him his medicine and only talked to him when there were doctors in the room. She does not belong in an ER working with children. As for the doctors, they were wonderful with my son and treating him and the Head Nurse was kind to us.
Sheila Odom: After waiting for 18 hours sitting in a hard chair, with no food or drink no one offered anything we were told that it would be another 6 hours before the cardiologist could come see us to discuss my husband's health, soooo upset 😡
Amber Larry: First time at childrens picu. The care here has been amazing.
Taylor Cervantes: Amazing service and extremely friendly staff!! The ladies at the front desk were very kind and took care of me right away. My Nurses were amazing and actually listened to what I said !! I highly recommend Hurley Hospital!
Jessica Stewart: My dad received care yesterday evening through today at Hurley, and I want to share some highlights on his quality of care. Krystal: Make the drive to memorial hospital in Owosso, my son and I should have, they only employ professionals who are absolutely passionate about their jobs. Can't speak for the whole hospital, there are a couple graceful toke d in the building. The police at memorial are more helpful and understanding as well. Make the drive.
Miz Mandy: Blanket was a girl from a wonderful overnights nurse in the ccc. Hope see sees this!
Amanda Reinheimer: Saved my life!
44 GROWS: Unprofessional turned down a mental patient and they have the history of the person and kicked her out the rules not for blk people and a law suit coming for them to watch the news
Tracy Allis: Currently here with my dad. Started really great in ER Dr Webber then sent us to group 2 team admitted and nothing at all. Probably UTI / bladder and No treatment at all? What are we waiting for to die? Restricted fluids and what would you think happens. Kidney disease. We got him sitting up nurses did nothing other than a hot tea for us and then basic BP and blood oxygen. No diagnosis other than “we are collaborating”. Hahaha no no no diagnosis or treatment. Believe me I will pursue action if this ends up what I think they are doing. We are not allowing a healthy guy with new stents to be left with infection for days without treatment. Seriously. Then put him in a room with infectious disease person they are having to amputate a leg due to not being able to fix infection. This hospital and McLaren need investigated.
Issa Abuaita: It’s only 2 child patients waiting for 7 hours and they come out and tell no rooms available, there is only one nurse in all of the ER section and 10 janitors, your child runs out of breath and they don’t care all they tell you we short on nurses or we don’t have rooms. If you interrupt their nap they become terrible with attitude and basically almost tell you they don’t care abt your child. Never go there again!!!!!!
Brianna Young: There is no other place in Michigan I would have my babies! I had a high risk pregnancy and an emergency induction with my baby being in nicu for two weeks. My child is healthy and growing thanks to the wonderful staff.
Sarah Fosnow: My son was in a terrible car wreck in Flint right before Christmas. He was pretty banged up, including a broken jaw. We mostly had good care, but something needs done about Dr. Ronald Stewart DDS. I have personally left him a negative review. He is the rudest doctor I have ever met and we had issues with him in hospital and outside of hospital when it came to after care. His office is disgusting and he shouldn't be putting his hands in anyone's mouth in that environment. I have much to say and would like to talk to someone at the hospital about this very unprofessional professional.
Jaliyah Harris: I love this hospital
Ashton Ziola: So much filth been here for 4 hours and all they told me was I need musinex very un perfesional
Nicole Solis: I wish I could give it less than one star, I've never had a good experience here.
Chuck Glo: This rating is for the emergency department only wouldn’t recommend coming here if it’s life or death been in this waiting room for ages just waiting for a room the front desk staff are rude when you come to ask simple questions seats an tables are filthy barely wanna sit anywhere because it’s used Urine cups left behind at these seats an nobody has came to retrieve them yet I came here because I been dealing with a sharp pain in my throat that led to me coughing up blood so I’m just tryna make sure I’m alright before I go on with my day but so far this has been a lackluster experience
Maria Ralston: I'm currently sitting in their hallway in a wheelchair in critical limb ischemia with got going black and I haven't even seen a Dr a nurse NOTHIN and we were already told I need surgery asap but don't matter here I guess. No controlling of the pain no doing nothing at all. Don't come here it's completely ridiculous and now I understand why they are only a 2.9 ⭐ GO TO DIFFERENT ER AS THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!
