If you want full control over lighting, the black out widow shades keep it completely dark during the day & the studio also has lighting equipment available for rent 🙏🏼 strongly recommend

Danielle: The biggest reason to get pictures done here is the price point. The quality of the pictures is good enough for the price. But 15 minutes is all that's allowed for a session and one usually has to wait after their booked time for their session. The photographer we had recently was nice enough but she was running around like crazy trying to assist everyone and was behind. My 1345 appointment didn't end until 1600.

Tracey Krynak: Tried for a head/shoulders senior pic tonight. Disaster. Krystal seemed like she was stoned, didn't listen to the desired pose we wanted. Kept trying to take various other poses even when asked to focus on the one we liked the most, but his head was too close to the top of the frame. Again, again, again, she retook the picture cutting his head off each time....40 minutes into the shoot, there still isn't a picture worth purchasing. Come to find out, she is new, no experience, yet found it difficult to take a photo of an adult. Very disappointed. Probably paid more an hour than I am, yet can't take a photo. Hoping the supervisor is going to contact me...

Ashley Bradley: Stephanie(genesee valley center in flint) is great and we will definitely be back again. Called customer service today to see if I can get a tracking number for our photos and they will be here way before anticipated. Will definitely be taking my family back.

Brittany R: Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Took my 9 month old son here to get pictures. Session scheduled for 3:30- we didn’t start until 3:50... we were done by 4:10. The photographer didn’t use any props, blocks... nothing to make his pictures more fun and interactive. All she used was a boring white and wood themed background. She took a total of 12 pictures but only 8 were worth keeping because she couldn’t keep his attention long enough. The shoot was rushed and wasn’t very creative at all. Complete waste of time. The waiting room and fitting room had a musty smell that was very off putting. To make matters worse, it takes WEEKS for your prints to come back.

Elizabeth Hankins: We got family portraits and the experience what excellent. Stephanie our photographer treats us like family. She is very experienced. It is hard to get two under two to sit still long enough to capture a family photo and she makes it look so easy!

Brittney Hope: This is a very unprofessional studio. I was told neither my son or myself would be in my youngest's newborn photos but then the shots we had to do included both of us... thankfully we both looked presentable. I looked past that and made another appointment for today, I was running late and called saying I was late and she said it was fine. I get here and was told she didn't answer the phone and threw my paperwork away. Honestly, it really isn't worth it. Either go to portrait innovations (which was booked while JCP was empty...wonder why) or a freelance photographer. They'll be out of business soon anyways and it won't be because there's not a demand for pictures.

Jane Doe: I had a professional photo shoot with another agency in the Flint area and they were terrible! I only had one day to get new ones taken so I called JCP and was able to get in late the same day! I had a photo shoot with Ann and she was great! She got me in and finished in under 30 minutes, as I told her I was pinched for time. I had multiple photos turn out great and am very happy with the results! Would definitely use Ann again in the future!!

Joe Hoskins: Sheila was great, she took awesome photos of me and my daughter, great personality and made both of us laugh during our session. Good experience, will do again.

Lauren Elizabeth: I choose this portrait studio over the one in Brighton, even though I'm closer to Brighton. Sheila is awesome! I'd probably quit going here if she left. Pictures are always great and she can make my baby smile. I always have lots of good pictures to choose from. Haven't had a bad experience.

Amber Kleinfeld: My sister in law and i went there yesterday our appt was at 245 we were a little late so when we got there had to wait behind a couple people for an hour when it was finally our turn to get our 2 year old sons pictures done they were getting a little tired an being two the photographer only got 3 shots of them together we were being rushed like she didnt have time to take there photos also told us that only one person should be talking since they cant concentrate on us and her talking! Also after photos were taken to go look at them the lady rushed us to get some and told us if we could come back a diffrent time i get that it was busy on a saturday but if im spending my money to have photos done they should please the customer im not spending 10 dollars on a sitting fee for only 9 photos and we didnt even get all the photos she took i think it was bad customer service i dont recomend this place if you only want a couple photos i have been here twice and each time was a bad experience

Daniel Scott: This place is horrible no.customer service. Don't listen to your ideas. Deletes most of pictures and only have a select to choose from. Leaves you at a computer not knowing what you're doing for over a half hour taking pictures with someone else. Not friendly or professional. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

He's always guiding with poses and props. He goes above and beyond and accommodates to make sure that what you envisioned actually comes out that way. I really love how it's such a personal feel. Even when I first met him, he was very personable and then you're just shooting for two hours and it seems like you've known each other forever as you've gotten comfortable and really in the zone in your shoot. The 2nd time, I loved how he remembered me and my brand and also helped to make my new launch an upgrade from the last time. It's a great experience with him. My team that I had with me the 2nd time loved him as well. Thank you again Joshua. I will be booking again!
