Best Movie Theater Flint Near Me

Theresa Giffel: I wish they had free refills on the popcorn and pop. This is an older theater and they keep it pretty clean. They also offer a lower price on tickets. Which is great. But taking a family there can be pricey with concessions. After buying tickets for my family of 5, plus 4 or 5 five dollar drinks and 2 tubs of popcorn, I would rather not have to spend extra on refills. It's annoying because it was less expensive to go to the newer competitors theater and spend the extra 2 bucks per ticket and buy 2 drink popcorn combos there (4 drinks 2 large tubs plus 1 extra drink)than to buy extra tubs of popcorn and extra drinks here. They used to offer free refills on both popcorn and pop. It might have been because they were owned by another company ( the theater changed names multiple times). I know that many theaters probably stopped giving refills because of covid, but the others are now offering refills again. Plus the other theaters have drink Dispensers where you don't have to wait in line for drink refills (all of which are free). So I don't know why they don't offer refills here.

Susan Pbell: The most uncomfortable seating, I'm Only 5ft tall and could not move my legs, and kept getting cramps.

Chad Erway: I've been going to the Flint West 14 since before it was Cinemark, way back when the cheap theater was still in Flint. Always happy with the service and atmosphere. Only reason I had to give 4-stars instead of 5 is because they don't make their own pretzel bits any more...those were SOOOO good. The ones they have now are still pretty tasty, but not as good as the ones made in house.

Pj: Look, no matter how you slice it, this theater is cheap. They claim no refills due to covid, and yet most of the staff don't have masks on. The food is expensive as it is to not offer refills. By the time you get through the previews, the little ice they put in the pop has melted, and the pop is warm. Flint West 14, go get a pop machine on the outside so patrons can fill up on their own.

johnny drivet: I went and saw dungeons and dragons..the flick was cool. 4 stars because of my fading interest at times..the plot served to to show honor among thieves. Yes sure ok

1suvgirl: I went to flint west 14 for the first time ever yesterday. I liked it. It was clean. People were nice. Security was nice. I know the rave, as it used to be called, had a lot of problems with kids acting up. Personally, I felt safe with security there. As for the prices, I didn't get anything. I went to the movies in sterling heights and I don't think they have free refills there anymore either. Not sure though. No refills doesn't bother me, less I have to go to the bathroom. I was impressed with the prices. Go to troy or sterling heights and it definitely costs more. Btw, check out check out creed 3. Michael b Jordan played that part well. Great movie!

Nick Foxx: Really, the best way to see a movie the US23 drive in is a great experience for families and brings a bit of nostalgia and atmosphere to going to see a movie. Helpful friendly staff actually helped me jump my battery when my van wouldn't turn on after movie. I just can't say enough great things about this place in a review about this place.

Amnestria: I didn't see any noticable litter, although crowded there was never a wait time for bathrooms and the concession stand's line moved very fast. There were kids running happily, dogs on leashes. Everyone was quiet for the movie. We watched the service guy walk around multiple times to check on everybody and do his rounds.It was just a really great time. I took a photo of a random trailer because you can't when the movie is on.

Gabriella Loney: We went there tonight and the screen was dark the food was cold the ketchup packets were expired and the bathrooms where disgusting there where people standing at the back of our vehicle like they where looking in my car the only good thing about this experience is that we saw two movies and the price was good to get in but overall this is the worst experience I have ever had with this Drive-in.

Brent Dutcher: Great drive inn because not many left since Highway drive turned into some dumbazz rave and don't show new outcoming movies. So US 23 is the drive to go to now and days.

I’m not sure if it’s that the people here just never leave Michigan and are uncultured and unaware, but the drive in is in a dangerous location to begin with, is extremely run down and just isn’t that great. Bathrooms are dirty, food is horrible, and quality of experience is very low. I’ve been to many drive-ins, but I’m not from here and think that most don’t realize how much better quality and experience exist outside of what they know. I think if you’re from here, you’ll love it. If you’re not and you’ve been to other drive-ins, you may not understand the hype either. If nothing else, it’s dangerous to even go here - terrible location in a terrible part of town.

Jeffrey Farell: Old school fun. Very family friendly atmosphere. Easy to get to and always room to park. Bring lawn chairs and sit outside, let the kids run around. Bring a pizza and a cooler. Closed in the winter.

Julie Alva: Please do not come here, go to another cinema!! Me and my boyfriend waited an hour with ADS playing tonight!!! On top of that 20 minutes before that it was a blank screen, we had to talk to an employee but only ads came on. They did re fund us tickets to come again, but no free anything and the employee herself said “this place is going down hill lots of stuff happens” like what?! Please do better, go to mjr in waterford or great lakes amc NOT this place. I normally haven’t had a bad experiences but the past year each time i’ve came it’s been something.

michael stewart (StuDog): We went to see "Guardians of the Galaxy" today 5/7/23 at 11:30am matinee on the IMAX 3D Showing. We got there at 11:00am but couldn't get in because the manager hadn't showed up yet. There was employees there that said they couldn't do anything until a manager was there. Apparently someone left a door open all night, that's why they were in the theater. Anyways we waited for around a hour and a half to get a refund on the tickets I purchased online. Then we were told that we could still watch the movie because a guy was coming in to start the movie for us. We finally got to see the movie at 1:00. Pretty disappointed in whoever dropped the ball, you would think they would've offered us a free pop or something.

Mary Johnson: I was so happy to see Guardians of the Galaxy 3 for the first time at the NCG Cinema in Grand Blanc it was great. The best ever experience I've ever had.

Very clean, they worked fast to make sure everything was picked up and clean before and after movie. Friendly staff. Foods a bit expensive but that’s normal at theaters. Had a great time and will be back.

One staff member was sitting on a stool deep into his phone and the other, I kid you not, she was inside a cabinet with it closed. I stood for a few seconds (we were at counter talking loudly) then when it was apparent that nobody was going to greet us I said, hello! They stood real quick and the girl popped out of the cabinet 😅. Although a week night and probably slow, this is just not acceptable behavior.

edward howell: I went there yesterday (2/19) to see the new Ant Man movie that started at 11AM with a large group of people ALSO waiting outside, and they wouldn't open the doors until 10:45. So, after rushing to each choose our own ridiculous seats on the computer screen, waiting for new popcorn because 1 of the 3 associates decided to let it all burn instead of paying attention, then the soda machines by the bathrooms weren't working properly! Luckily we were able to make it to our assigned seats on time JUST before the movie started! RIDICULOUS! I don't know who manages this place but they either need new management or new associates! My guess is that new management is needed!!!
