Tiah McGann: Pho is my favorite dish, ever. I know good, authentic pho. The people who say the pho is good there, have never had good pho. There are ticks in their pho. The "beef" has a terrible taste to it. The bean sprouts were the only decent thing. Hubby and son ordered rice, and it was pure mush. The best part is the service, and that's because we were the only people there..On the bright side, the young man who was serving was alright! He was considerate and attentive, aside from the fact he wasn't busy. 0/10 though guys.

As always, they only have one person in the lobby covering but he's super quick and polite, no complaints!Vegetarian options: You don't need meat protein in any of their dishes, they are great without. Literally everything can be made without meat.Parking: Spacious parking spots, more than necessary.

F C: I've been wanting to try The Lotus Room since I heard it was like Empress (RIP)Well, they don't offer lunch specials anymore- on their takeout menu they're still there but with a big X out stating "no lunch specials"Their meals only come with white rice & they won't allow you to upgrade to fried for a fee.So only white rice and no egg roll with dinners.I went here in search of a copycat of Empress' sweet & sour chicken with the plain white egg fried rice.After having to buy the egg fried rice at $8 (literally white rice with egg bits in it) and my dinner at $12...This $20 meal was good, yes. But the price? This is out of control. I cannot fathom why they wouldn't let me upgrade to fried rice.Without their lunch specials, this places prices are ridiculous. A Chinese dinner plate at any other takeout place would easily feed 2. There wasn't enough chicken in this box to barely feed me.Disappointed in their prices and portion sizes.Even if they can't sustain a lunch special at the oldPrice listed on their menu- they should still be offering a lunch & dinner combo at a decent price.

Alex Goetz: The food is great, both warm and cold. Got into a car accident immediately after getting food from here and it was room temp. by the time I got home, it was still crispy and amazing. Ate my eggroll the next day and the shell had great flavor and the inside was perfect. I cannot recommend this place more for some cheap-ish Chinese food. The lady who took my order can seem rude but I can promise that is not the case.

K Culver: When I moved out here last year, I struggled to find "good" Chinese food. Even though a lot of reviews said other places had good Chinese food, it wasn't even comparable to Gourmet Wok. It is by far the best Chinese food around. I've liked/loved every dish so far, except for the egg rolls. They are not my favorite. But aside from that, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Paigelynn Wilkes: Out of however many hundreds of places I've ordered from, Hong Da by far and away puts the most love, care, and actual quality ingredients into their food. Every single order is consistent and amazing. It's the closest thing you can get to a home cooked meal that gets delivered by a stranger. These people truly make their food with pride and you definitely taste it. I can't recommend them highly enough.
