Bush one of his Drs I give this place five stars because I was afraid and injured. They put my fears at ease and gave me excellent professions gentle care, and now I can see! And it’s beautiful there!

Pam Stanley: Just tried to book appointments for my entire family (two adults, two kids) with Dr. Stack. Due to our work schedules we were needing their last appointment time slots. The receptionist didn't even want to hear what was going to work better for us, informing me this is a specialty office, therefore apparently, we're suppose to just take what times they have available. That's the message I got from the receptionist. I had to ask the receptionist to please keep looking as it didn't really matter the month. She basically just informed me she didn't really think they had anything available and couldn't we just do an earlier appointment. I finally just gave up and ended the phone call. I sincerely felt as though she just didn't really want to help me book ANY appointment unless I was just willing to take whatever appointment she wanted to offer us. Word to the wise, if you're a working individual and you're a new patient, you're going to be forced to take a day off work apparently to make an appointment at Dr. Stack's office.

Arlene Freeland: After researching Ophthalmologists online, I walked into Complete Eye Care at the end of January. From the first visit I knew the staff was very proficient, meeting two different Ophthalmologist Assistants and Dr. Waters, being a former medical professional, I knew this business was professional and each performed as a integral part of a fine wheel. Because I have Type II Diabetes, I was looking for a physician who had knowledge regarding this issue which was important to me. I loved the idea that Dr. Waters was also an Emergency Room Physician in his past. I felt secure that should anything happen to me while undergoing any procedure that Dr. Waters had the necessary knowledge and experience that would ensure complete success. I trusted him and his skills completely. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and chose the Symfony IOL Lenses. I also have better that 20/20 vision, 20/15 for distance and need no prescription. The results of lens replacement is amazing, clarity and the spectrum of color is incredible, it is truly like being handed a part of your youth because you don't realize how flat colors and vision becomes as you age. This experience has been great! The staff is very aware of their roles, very knowledgeable, very professional, very focused on completing their tasks in timely matters, scheduling appointments and wait times are handled expeditiously. In this very short time, I have gotten to know a little of Andrea's and Dr. Waters' personalities and will miss seeing them both. Mahalo nui loa to you both,(Hawaiian thank you) it's truly been a pleasure! Thank you for restoring my great vision and for the wonderful experience!

I had LASIK surgery in both eyes performed by Dr. Waters a week ago, every single step of the process has been completely painless (figuratively and literally). Everyone in the office has been kind, welcoming, and efficient at all of my visits - they also took the time to fully explain every aspect of the procedure and pre/post op process. My only regret is that I didn't have this done years ago! Dr. Waters (and his awesome team) take very evident pride in what they do and pride in their patient outcomes. Kathy Daugherty: My mother who lives in Arizona needed cataract surgery, but could not find a doctor in Arizona to do the surgery. In 1963 she had a tumor removed from her left eye that left a hole. The pupil made up for the hole and naturally moved (elongated) to cover the hole. The eye doctor in Arizona would not remove the cataract because he was afraid the new lens would not cover the hole.Dr Waters removed cataracts from both my left and right eye. I explained my mother’s situation with her eye and asked for his thoughts. He knew exactly what I was talking about and said he has done cataract surgery on others with the same situation with good results. He also told me about the Iris implants if needed.After telling my mother what Dr Waters had told me, she felt confident enough in his ability, she came to Michigan to have the surgery done. After all is said done, the results were phenomenal. My mother was beyond satisfied with Dr Waters. He was very professional yet personable and caring at the same time. And his staff….OMG they are just so wonderful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Just the whole atmosphere of this office is beyond words. The end result, my mother’s cataract was removed as well as the pupil was repaired to more of a normal size, which is way more than most doctors would do in my opinion. Kudos to you Dr Water’s and your staff. Love you guys 😊

Karen Castle: Optical department very poor customer service. He told me that if I brought in current prescription, which he could have read from my current glasses. I was eligible for lenses only this year and could replace in old frame. When I returned I was refused service and was told I wasn't eligible.

Ron Beaumont: I had cataract surgery and was being treated for glaucoma. I had bought glasses (my family also) from their optical store. During the pandemic I had to schedule an eye exam for the status of my glaucoma and new prescription. I was informed I needed to have additional laser surgery sometime in July 2021. I was prescribed eye drops and a new eye glass prescription. When I was informed that unless my eyeglass frames were purchased there any damage during production of the new lenses or frames would not be covered. I decided it wasn't worth the risk and said I would get the lenses from the place I got the frames. I was informed that I would need a measurement for the glasses to be made and their optical department said they would not give me the number unless I paid $10.00 and I would need to drive there. It was a pandemic, winter and the roads were snow and ice covered. I had to write a letter to the doctors to get this resolved. I would not allow anyone in their optical department near my eyes or glasses again. Repugnant customer service. I had decided I would never purchase lens or frames from them again nor would my family. The most recent event was a refill for my glaucoma medication. I informed the pharmacy I needed a refill. It was available on the list for another refill. The East Michigan Eye Center denied the refill for glaucoma eyedrops they had prescribed. The surgery wasn't planned until July 2021 and I was informed the drops would suffice until then. I was not sure if I could trust them and in thinking about the actual events in terms of my care by them I would not. Just because someone says they have been doing something for 20 years doesn't mean they are as good at it as when they started. At this time I am not even sure what the status of my eyes are and will look for more clinically professional service and one that conducts business in a supportive, patient centered manner.

Randy: I wasted so much time on this place, don't make my mistake. They canceled my original appointment and never got back to me to reschedule. After I rescheduled myself they told me to come in 15 minutes before my appointment and to call from the parking lot, but when I did, the office was closed and I had to wait in the parking lot until they opened anyway. Then going over insurance the lady gave me the wrong information, saying that I would have to get a referral from my doctor or that I would have to pay everything out of pocket. Only to get a call from another employee that told her she was completely wrong, and that I was covered. Then we got to the contact section where the doctor has made up her own costs that she wants from you out of pocket. It was at this point I canceled my appointment. This office obviously is in the business of preying upon the impoverished and uninformed people of the Flint community. I was hoping to get good local service but I have to say I'm not surprised I can't. Looks like I'll have to continue to go all the way back to Davison in order to get my eye care services.

Kelly VanKuren: Total lack of Patient Care!!The utter failure to ask the patient questions regarding their daily use of their glasses results in TOTALLY USELESS LENSES!!1st time getting Bi-Focals, Use a computer 80% of my day and I cant see anything. When I called to inquire, I was then told I NEED progressive lenses to see a computer. That will be $175 MORE. All of this should have been discussed at time of appointment.

Kathi Steele: I brought my mom in for an appointment. We were treated rudely, from the second we walked through the door. After a terrible attitude from the receptionist, we took a seat and waited. Then we hear her name, we are 5 feet in front of the technician, she clearly sees my elderly mom trying to stand up. Does she offer help? No. Does she smile, and politely wait? No. What does she do? She YELLS her last name again in her direction until I have to ask her to please give her a minute to stand up as she is clearly struggling. Then proceeds to give me nasty looks and tells me I can wait without her. I'm her caregiver. I was still finishing her paperwork. I am actually still here, holding her half finished paperwork. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING has been signed by her yet and she is with her 2nd technician already. I cannot believe the rudeness we have encountered.

Kayla Ellison: My procedure was wonderful, everyone at the office was great. I can see! My Lasik procedure has definitely changed my life. I do have halos and starbursts after surgery during night time driving. I did email the office to set up an appointment prior to the procedure with a series of questions, one being the probability that I’d experience halos and starbursts considering my night time working schedule and majority night time driving. I was told the probability would be low because I have a normal pupil dilation size and my pupils wouldn’t dilate outside the corneal flap of correction. I brought this up to the Dr who completed my procedure, Dr. Bernard Tekiele directly, and told the staff during three of my four checkups as documented in my chart. Dr. Tekiele only responded to my concerns when I told him directly even though they were documented in my chart multiple times and expressed that my symptoms were unusual (this isn’t true, halos and starbursts are experienced by most Lasik patients), and that it was a lubrication issue, but also stated there shouldn’t be any lubrication issues this far along after the procedure and “everything is good on my end” which seemed contradictory and quite honestly like gaslighting. So I won’t be returning for any future follow-ups and I’ll be getting an opinion from an ophthalmologist referred by my physician to see what my options are for night time driving and my starbursts and halos.

Aliyah: I waited very long time to write this review. I was patient in 2019. I was diagnosed with Inter-cranial Hypertension which is rare and requires a specialist who is versatile. Dr.Zendler was the only local specialist so my options where few. In the beginning he did his job. But when I had a hard time losing weight I was discharged suddenly because In his words I was refusing treatment. But that was not the case I was recently diagnosed with PCOS in 2021 and that’s a common symptom. Not able to lose weight or just maintain weight. If I knew had PCOS all this time I would have not let Dr.Zendler say cruel things to me and give me the option of abortion (if I became pregnant) if I continue to gain weight. Just because a patient can’t loose weight fast, doesn’t mean they are lazy , it could be underlying issue like mines !
