Llyod Fuller: DO NOT, DO NOT do business with this company, the owner (Sid) is not a man of his word. I had a problem with my carpet that his installers had laid. We made an agreement to have the problem fixed for free or at my expense depending on what his installers determined had caused the problem. Long story short is that after talking with him twice the installers never contacted me and I have never heard back from Sid. I would have still been a customer for life if he would have kept his word and sent the installers out to fix my carpet issue which only would have required a restretch of the carpet. Now I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN, AND I AM WARNING ⚠️ YOU NOT TO DO BUSINESS THERE AS WELL !!!!!!!

I usually work with Sid (the owner), who is fantastic, but we get great customer service with any of the folks. I will shop nowhere else for my flooring needs.

We had water in our basement this weekend and being only 2 weeks before Christmas, we decided to just put the existing carpet back in with no pad and buy new carpet or apoxy the floor at a more appropriate time. We have yet to buy gifts for our kids and have no idea what it will cost to dry out our basement nor what our insurance is going to cover. So Bob refuses service since we don’t want to buy padding and he can’t “gaurantee” the carpet. I wasn’t looking for guarantees. Just to get on with our lives.

My flooring was installed incorrectly so shortly after the install of my wood laminate floor started to buckle and crack, I have been dealing with the warranty for about 9 months now and the owner does not return phone calls or keep appointments. So for your information please BEWARE that this company is very shady and so is the owner. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YORK CARPETLAND AGAIN and regret having done business with them.
