Rose Labarge: I had not been here in many years but remembered the pasties as being an ok Americanized version of a traditional beef pasty. I purchased two of the regular beef pasties and sides of gravy. The filling of the pasties was edible not great but ok as was the gravy. the shop seemed like more of a bakery with many types of pies, cakes etc for sale. Who ever made the pastry dough for the pasties must have thought they were making soles for shoes . It was so tuff it had to be cut with a knife and was barely chewable. I am so glad I did not buy any of the pies as I would have been very dissatisfied if the pie crust was as terrible as that used for the pasties. Lesson learned, when I want pasties make my own .

Amy Puidokas: The cookies are impressively delicious and HUGE, especially for the price. Their cookies taste great and you can tell they’re made with love, unlike the bigger cookie companies that are popular, and We’redough is way more affordable! Would choose this over Crumbl 10/10 times if I could but sadly don’t live in the area. Every time I visit I try to stop by because they’re always running deals and everything is always so good! Every time I stop in, the people working are always so kind and helpful! I always leave feeling happier than when I walked in.

Often, I pick up a falafel sandwich and one of their salads for lunch at work. Delicious!Once Great Lent is over, I look forward to trying several other their items.The ladies are always full of smiles and are very patient. Their selection is quite varied and I have never seen so many cookie cutters in one place.Staff are friendly and helpful. The one time they were out of melting chocolate, they took my contact information (I was number 44 on the list) and promptly contacted me when it was back in stock. It was packaged and waiting for pickup when I got there.I highly recommend Lovegrove's.

Brianna Walker: I like this place when it comes to finding molds,cake boards, packaging and sometimes sprinkles! BUT all food products are HORRIBLE! You can tell everything is old! I bought some carmel bits (not thinking anything of it) got home, tried them, and they were ROCK HARD AND STALE!!! There should always be a expiration date on food products!!! and NONE were found! The chocolate is obviously old considering the lady at the desk told me the chocolate is hard when melting (a sure sign its old) and insisted that I buy paramount crystals with it, she also said I shouldn't get glitter dust cause it can make people's intestines upset if I use too much. then why would you have those products if they aren't edible!?!?!? Lastly all the food dyes were old aswell!! They were all separated (which is a sure sign of expiredness) this is NOT OK!!! you guys need to do better with the upkeep of your store especially if there's food products.

They do have a great selection on cup cake toppers also. (rings, etc) they carry CK gel paste coloring, nobody else in town has it. $6.50 for the large bottle. Powders and Metallics as well. Just about had everything you need for cakes, including fillings.I'm a cookie decorator and was hoping for more cookie tools.Still a very nice store and I did buy some cookie cutters, return for more. Wish they had more to choose from, very slow at restocking .

Michelle Colbert: Run don’t walk to Batter Bar! I checked this place out on the last morning of my business trip and boy do I wish I could go back in time and go every morning. I had the berries and cream crepe and at first was hesitant about “graham cracker” as an ingredient, but went with it anyway. Let me tell you, “graham cracker” is an understatement. It’s actually extremely buttery, flavorful, crunchy pieces of a graham cracker pie crust- that adds such a great element of texture. Don’t sleep on this local business. Their crepes are as delicious as their cutie little shop. Thank you I will be back!
