Lyndsey Rodgers: I started shopping at a Torrid in metro Detroit about 8 years ago, loved the store, & the staff 💯 When I moved back to my hometown in Genesee County, 2017, I was SOOOO EXCITED to see there was a Torrid at the mall. I immediately fell in love with Shannon, a Mgr there, as she helped with every detail of my shopping experience as I was heading to Dubai & Abu Dhabi. When I came back a year later she still remembered me!!! She helped me again shop/plan for my Costa Rica trip. She made me feel at home and like family right away. NEVERRR do you feel rushed or ignored at that store. They are always willing to go above & beyond!!!Last year Abby another staff was amazing as she helped me shop/plan for my Key West trip! She ALSOOO remembered me when I came back in a few months ago. Two weeks ago as I was in there shopping for my Texas trip I got to meet Garrett & Jodi (regional managers). It was so great to learn more about the founder of the company/her “why”, both of Garret & Jodi’s experience & passion about the company’s mission, etc. They understand that women who require a few more inches of clothing shouldn’t have to look frumpy or grandma’ish. We are just as beautiful as any other girl & deserve to have clothes fit our bodies, while looking just as stylish & hot! I get compliments in my Torrid clothes all the time!!! Danielle Woodd: I wanted to love this location because it was the closest to home. But the selection here was limited. If I liked it on a mannequin I couldn't find it on a rack. I tried on the pair of pants I knew I wanted and the dressing rooms DEFINITELY needed some cleaning. The walls, border and floor were covered in dust, and I felt dirty walking out of it. The only good part was the service. The ladies here were very nice. Only bought the pants.

Kathy Sayles: Went to the Maurice store in the Genesee Valley Mall. While looking around in the plus size clearance rack an associate approached myself and my 3 daughters and asked what we were looking for. I replied that we were just looking around. The associate informed me that I was in the wrong section for my size and shooed me out of that section. After looking on the racks that were “my size” I happened to notice a pair of capris on the plus size clearance rack and made my way back over to that section to look at them, and was once again shooed out of that area. After finding a dress to try on we made our way to the dressing rooms, after noticing that the dressing rooms were unlocked I took my one item in to try on. Shortly after entering the dressing room that same associate came to the back and got very rude with my 3 daughters, telling them that anything that went into the dressing room had better come back out, and it better be put in the appropriate location. I originally went into that particular store because I bought a pair of pants from that location a few years ago and wanted to see if they maybe had another pair that were similar, but after being treated like a thief that was going to rob them blind I don’t feel the need to spend my hard earned money at a store where the associates have no problem being rude.

ashley Bill: The plus size selection seems to keep getting smaller and smaller in store and when asked a worker if a regular size came in plus she just side I don't know and wouldn't check for us. If they were busy then I would have understood but there was like 2 people in the store.
S & B: On two occasions I've experienced rude service at the registers. (One woman I believe is actually the manager)..It seems to be a problem for them to return a purchase with the tags attached, and the receipt. I will not be shopping here anymore.

Madison Lester: Maurices is always a must go for me while I am at the mall. They have clothes 0-24 and they also do a completely FREE service called a “style session”. You just call and tell them what size you wear and they create tons of stunning outfits for you!! Even down to the shoes and jewelry! The girls that work there are always eager to help and are always so friendly.PS if you have your little ones with you they also have a kids corner with coloring books back by the fitting rooms for all of you mamas out there!

If you call ahead of time and ask them to book a personal styling session, they will pick you head to toe outfits that match your style needs and have them ready in a fitting room for you when you get there. You also get a free reusable Maurice’s bag while supplies last, AND you’ll get your own personal shopper to grab you size exchanges as needed. The store is always neat and clean. Located down the JCPenny wing!

Nicole D: I visited this store on Saturday. I am from a different city and has heard that flint is ghetto, unprofessional, mean etc... but let me tell you something. These ladies in this entire store were the sweetest kindest individual that i have ever come across in retail. The young lady at the front door greeted everyone who walked in. The manager and her get copilot the young lady at the register was kind to everyone who was checking out. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS STORE AGAIN

Last time I checked you have to honor the listed price. The manger caused a scene in the store yelling. We called corporate and they did in fact say that she had to honor that price. He filled a complaint on her. Terrible customer service.
