todd williams: These guys are rock stars.I ordered a pallet of lumber, I didn’t need a pallet, but its been my experience when you buy and have wood delivered from one of the big box stores, you end up having bad boards that need to be returned. Not with Michigan Lumber, we used the majority of the wood this weekend and NOT ONE BAD ONE. YEA! No returns, no hassle. Sales process was easy, price was fair! And one more thing -- I was with 5 other people that regularly engage with building projects and they were amazed at the quality. Kudos to Michigan Lumber.

Karen Lewis: EXCELLENT STAFF -- went into Michigan Lumber in Flint on the recommendation of a lumberyard employee of a local hardware store. I had a 130 year old bentwood sewing machine case that needed a piece of trim to match what was/is still on the case...the gentlemen in the sales store were PHENOMENAL! Not only did they recommend the wood to use for the trim, but walked us back to the mill, where am employee there made the wood to mirror EXACTLY the piece still on the sewing machine case!The staff was not only friendly, but knowledgable and went out of their way to accommodate us. Highly recommend this wonderful company...

John Palmer: Excellent Lumber Yard! We were trying to match a molding that was already installed in our house 🏡. We took in a photo and dimensions. They let us leave with free samples. After getting home, we needed a slightly smaller molding. We went back, the salesman found the Molding for us and rang us up. Walked over to the pickup area. I was out in just a few minutes. He put a wrap around the two pieces so it would be more convenient for me to carry, then opened the door for me.

Christopher McGahey: The worst customer service by a lumberyard I have ever dealt with. Jeff was my salesman who promised me that my lumber would be available on a certain day. I had to call him to check on it before they closed it did not show up that day he then proceeded to tell me it may be within the next two or three days. I waited three days call them again right before close to be told that it did not show up and I will not have it for the weekend they are closed. This is now two dates that I was promised to have my materials no call no show of materials. Like I told Jeff I understand that things happen but to not call a customer or at least warn about a delay and to promise me for two delivery dates and nothing shows up inexcusable. Jeff then proceeded to hang up on me when I was trying to ask him questions and ask for a manager. Now I am out time money for my crew and way too much hassle.

We went to the flooring section and didn't see it, we looked it up online and it said it wasn't in stock at any flint store so we asked another associate to page someone from flooring for us so we could ask about ordering it online and after about 5 minutes of waiting for an employee that never showed up so we were on our way out the door when my husband decided to stop at Pro Services and that's when our trip here turned around to a good thing. We met TIFF S at PRO SERVICES and not only was she extremely friendly but as she was getting ready to hit the send button for our order which would've cost us an extra $20 too btw to have it delivered, she decided to call the back one more time and double check the stock and low and behold she found 9 boxes of it for us in a clearance section so we were able to take our floor home today and save $20 on shipping. IF IT WEREN'T FOR THIS WONDERFUL EMPLOYEE THIS STORE WOULD'VE LOST OUR GOOD BUSINESS AFTER ASKING COR HELP AND NO ONE COMING. THANK YOU TIFF S.
Mikhail Macherkevich: I don't like The Home Depot, because consultants in any location try to ignore you! I always have to look for these consultants all over the huge store in search of help. When I find someone, it's like they don't care what you buy and like they're doing you a favor when they tell you something. This store's policy is terrible! Any way the Ace store, the consultants are simply the best! In all Ace locations, consultants will approach you and offer their help! Ace has the best customer service!
