Ettn Good: I have used this server multiple times and each time I have had to stay on top of them to make sure they do there job. Most recently, A notice was sent to serve and paid in April. The service wasn't done until 4 days before the court date which made for the court to be adjourned. Though I had did my portion, using a company that lacked follow though caused for me to waste my time today. Would not recommend.

Our office is out of state from where this Process Server is based but they were able to work with us to get things done through a time difference and the pandemic. This has yet to happen, I’ve been lied to each time I have called. I feel like I'm dealing with an incompetent scam artist that took my money and ran. Highly disappointed and lacking faith that they will ever make an attempt at doing what I paid them to do.

Bobbi Jackson: Yesterday I was offered a job and was told that I would receive the information by email to begin taking cases in my area right away. I never received an email so I called the number back and left a voicemail to be sure the correct email was given and never received a return call. Now it is showing as "not selected" on Indeed. This was a scam trying to get my information! Watch out for them!

Andrew A: I used Allen-Hope / Great Lake Civil Services to collect a judgement that was awarded to me from a corporate defendant who was not paying me the judgement awarded to me.Allen-Hope received the paperwork to seize property from the defendant, and the court officer whom was collecting the judgment for me was very communicative and informed me of the entire process. The court officer was able to successfully collect my judgement, and I received the check in the mail from Allen-Hope a little over a month after the judgement was collected.Keep this in mind when you utilize any service, especially anything having to do with courts/laws, everything does take time. I filled out the paperwork in late April, and I finally got the check in the mail in the last day of June.I would highly recommend choosing Allen-Hope / Great Lake Civil Services for your needs.Thanks for everything!

Nicole Marisa: This place is terrible!!! Do not use if you ever want a divorce. We used them in August of last year to serve divorce papers to my husband. We paid them, signed everything in front of them, and they said they would file it with the court. We waited our 6 months since we have kids only to find out that they never filed and our entire case was dismissed. We now have to start the process all over, pay to file again, and wait another 6 months. Then when we called very upset their manager is in Florida and can’t be reached. If nothing else that is a BIG error on the their part and someone should contact us immediately. We do plan to seek legal action.

Whitney Cook: The process servers lie!! BEWARE!! I was waiting to be served by Allen and Hope, I called them directly and told them when I would be home so they could serve me my documents. I waited until that time and no one showed up. Later that night I had a note saying I missed the process server, again. I called and the lady on the phone started yelling at me instantly calling me a liar, that they had a photo with a timestamp showing they were there before I left and I was refusing to be served. Then she proceeded to say they didn't have to serve me my legal documents and hung up the phone. I will be getting my documents directly from the court now. Do not use this company!! I was at home and waited to be served, I don't care that they have a photo with a timestamp showing they came at a certain time, they can also change the timestamp on ANY device they use to cover their lies... and clearly they did because they did NOT come when they were supposed to. I have no reason to avoid this document, in fact I am WAITING for it. Beyond frustrated and the lady on the phone needs to be fired for horrible customer service.

Larissa Marsh: Took them months to actually turn in the paperwork and check that I issued them. Charles Lewis also thinks he works outside of the law. Terrible experience that has only recently been finalized on their end. Would not recommend using or ever having to experience any situation with them.

kreshenda burton: First time user with this company and I should have read the reviews before doing business with this company.... but anyways I paid this company to serve 2 defendants I am suing. Well 3 1/2 weeks later my defendants are still not served and they have only been to the property twice to attempt and no answer. When I talked to a representative of the company I am told the case was closed out due to none serviceable address. Turns out the server went to the wrong address and never contacted me regarding this, not to mention I would have never knew if I didn’t call. So the lady promised me they would have the defendants served that weekend. Here it is another week later and nothing. So I call again and now since they have only attempted 2 times in 3 weeks I am past the 14 day time limit to have the defendants served and have to go back to court and get a new court date. I let the agent who took my call know my frustration and she made it seem like they tried and they can’t guarantee service. But why not go to the defendants property everyday until they get served is my question? Let me be an attorney or someone in the courts trying to get someone served and I bet you my case would be a priority. I’m really feeling like this company got me. Quick to take my money and slow to do the service for me. Smh NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE. I’m better off taking the loss and using a different company.
