Comma Bookstore & Social Hub: what do users think?
Darrell: Great atmosphere, store, with down to earth owners..great place 2 chill little known fact comma bookstore was in a commercial and featured in a visa ad for the movie Black Panther and it was filmed in Flint
Joe Kim: 👍👌
Joseph barron: Haven't been there yet.. but the owner gave me an excellent impression.
Adriano Donastorg: When walking into Comma, all you can feel is good vibes and energy from everyone. If you were having a bad day, you can stroll into this store and everything that was a burden, is instantly lifted. The coffee is amazing, the people are even more amazing to be around. I will be back again for future events.
Darold Hogan: Great atmosphere and always good events
Mozella Bogan: My first time visiting on 7/14/22. Very historical, Clean, Informative, friendly, I LOVE IT!
Obai Sukar: A wonderful place. Elegant and beautifully decorated. I liked the idea that the owners are supporting local events at their bookstore. Egypt is very nice and welcoming. The whole vibe and atmosphere are very hospitable as well.
Tionn Don: If I could give less than one star I would!! Male owner is very disrespectful and doesn’t isn’t dependable.. when it comes to his end of the deal, he’s untrustworthy. Just shady and I am very disappointed because I love supporting local businesses.
Michael Rains: Comma Bookstore is a must see place if you’re in the Flint area. This business is 100% for the culture and is an important part of the city. Among books, they sell apparel, art, and other items. You owe it to yourself to stop in and see what the buzz is all about. You won’t be disappointed.

The owners were warm and kind, conversational, let us know about upcoming events and were very friendly to my children. We were excited to take home three great children’s books and a new hat, and we’re looking forward to our next time there.
annie babiasz: I went in looking for bilingual children’s books, which i was having a hard time finding at other places, but i was able to find a great selection and so many other wonderful books! i will definitely be returning. the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming and the owners were so kind and helpful. so excited to have found this bookstore!

Fame Taleb: Literally millions of comics awesome place
Jim Thurlow: They have comics and more comics. Owner was very nice and they had many different comics to pick from. Had a couple new shelves and then many long boxes to thumb through. I'll be back.
Brea Glenn (mssweet7): This is one of my favorite comic shops in town. They offer discounts when you purchase multiple books, and they'll hold new issues of books for you so you don't have to try to rush in around school and work schedules. They carry a lot of Indy and obscure comics, and they even have some mature content behind the counter for 18+.
Me Two: Great small local businesses very friendly
T.J.: It was fantastic to find out this place is still open after so many years. I stopped in and bought a few things to read and chatted with the staff that's always super friendly and super knowledgeable about all things nerdy
Holly Blake: My son absolutely loves this place! Not enough time to go through everything they have
Jenn Hoornstra: New collector, loved the straight forward organization and prices.
Kevin Loxton: Very good selection. Prices were very reasonable. Owners could not have been more helpful or nicer. My son and I will be back.
Matt Hopkins: They were sold out if what we were looking for but they were very helpful.
Andrew Iwamasa (CCornerMI): Nice classic comic shop! New comics and back issues for all genres!

Totem Books: what do users think?
Tiffany Watts: I go there every other week with my sister. We normally get tea maybe some records and then sit and write or read. It's a great place to unwind and discover new music or rediscover old music and books. It's a great place to be!
Randy Woolbright: Good selections
JUSTIN SCANLON: There are so many positive aspects to Totem, that I fear it would be tiresome to list them all. The manager, Aron, has collaborated with the owner, Dean, to make this extensively inventoried bookstore with CD/Vinyl into much more. It is a Cafe and also offers performance space for talent. In the summer they even have a Soundstage. As if that were not enough, it's also a place where you might quite likely strike up a friendly convo with a kindred soul.
sarah mascara: The whole place has such a nice feel to it. Like being in your favorite eclectic aunt's apartment. Great place, great events, great involvement in the community, great staff, great coffee, just great everything.
Mark Giza: we were helping my friend an attorney bring some books in for donation. We had on dirty clothes because we were helping as moving men.We were looking around while waiting for the donation and he acted like we were not supposed to be there.I love books.I have thousands of dollars in books. The owner is a solid bigot to size my son and myself volunteer to help someone just to be treated like a vagrant because we had working clothes on.Very crass behavior.I know to never come in here again I am a solid graphic artist and content creator. If he can judge my son and I based on our clothing.I can judge him by his actions toward my son and myself.
Dennis Smith: Nice little coffee shop and book store
Heather: Lots of books, lots of albums. Quiet when we have been there although there is music playing. I think the prices are fair from what I’ve seen.
Robyn Gray: Cool little bookstore
Nicholas Campbell: Really cool spot for used books. Huge selection.
Kayla Greninger: Beautiful space, great collection of books and great prices.
MarkaPhotog: Fantastic selection of used books, vinyls, and so much more. I would have given 5 stars if the lady that checked us out was courteous. She seemed bored and overly unfriendly. My wife (disabled as well) bought 8 small books, a very heavy book and a few others small items. She was given 1 plastic bag for the 8 small books with a large hole in it. We didn’t ask for a new bag or another bag because the clerks demeanor was not pleasant and also had ignored a question my wife asked while browsing for a title.Fortunately the store itself was very good. A couch, chairs, stools and tables for working on laptops along with free wifi! There is a small eatery inside with a few chairs. Prices were reasonable and with such a huge variety of unique items to browse, like stickers, buttons, coasters, shirts, etc. it’s got something for everyone. There is even a kids area with books. The inside is really nice and there are some beautiful murals on the building and another building in back.Disregarding the clerk, I recommend this bookstore as it has a lot offer. There is handicap parking on the side of the building and plenty of parking in general.
Molly CM: Amazing little gem
B WG: Great Vibe!
Denny Williams: Awesome Place for books and vinyl records! Highly recommend!
Clara Burton: They have a great selection and great prices! I have yet to visit their cafe but I have never left unsatisfied or empty-handed!
Tina Castle: This Is A Wonderful Book Store nice And Knowledgeable Staff Friendly Atmosphere Great Prices Blessing For The Flint Community Amen
Byron Egans: Stopped in just to see what they had since it was my first time. This is a very nice bookstore, there is a wide selection of books and records and everything is pretty well organized. The store was well lit, clean, and the staff was nice. Would definitely stop by again.
John Myers: Neat shop
Ashley Lloyd: Loved this place! Not only was it an awesome bookstore but the artwork on the outside of the building is amazing! I took lots of pics and videos because I'm obsessed! lolGo check them out!📚
Daniel Crannie: Really cool place to hang out, relax and browse great books, music albums, etc.
Rebecca Lansing: Best coffee ever and it's where I got most my Harry Potter books from. They also have good insence.

Barnes & Noble: what do users think?
Floyd Harkness: Was able to find the books my Granddaughter wanted
Michael Woodworth: Friendly employees
Kelli Chapin: Very nice place. The Starbucks in there sucks unfriendly staff. I won't go back to Starbucks but the book store us amazing.
Debbie Simane: Located in a near empty mall
Monica Kannai: I can literally spend hours in this store. I get lost in a world of multiple interests.
Joshua Hinds: Always much love for this B&N
Jay Wagoner: Very helpful staff. Great selection of all your needs.
Landen n: Books
Budgieking: Lots of books, only flaw would be that its pricey
Ian Gerlach: Very big and had very nice employees
tonetone090 1: I'm not a big book person, but my wife is and she loves it .
MrsRubGrub: Literally had "the Titans bride" manga. That's about as good as it gets. If you're under 18 don't look it up btw
Thomas Lillie: Great atmosphere and you can get a Starbucks coffee and eats to enjoy while you read your book.
Charisse Green: I come here regularly, and it's always a pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Megan was very nice and helped me get signed up for the rewards program
Andrea Not-provided: Barnes and Noble is always great. The staff here are always incredibly helpful but not pushy. The selection is always really good although I think the Manga/young adult sections have really expanded(probably based on market). Its always a perfect experience here.
Katie Coombs: Love the games section! So much to choose from. Staff are so friendly. There is something for everyone here!
James Blum: Good hours, nice folks, something of an oasis when what remains of local regional bookstores and record stores have gone to bed. In store selection is suboptimal but the nice folks will order you your obscurities, however much they ought not be obscure. The history section is a propagandist's dream reinforcing whatever the consensus is at present, but perhaps that is just what sells along with bobbleheads and the abomination that is Young Adult Fiction.
Georgia Green: Nice atmosphere!
Lori Roe: I had a book reserved which I was able pick up at the checkout counter. Staff was friendly and great. Thank you.
Jeff: More than just a book store ..Many items other than books , if your a collector they have plenty of options Lp's, new and classics..Funko's , cards, hard to find books. I'm a premium member. Which offers decent discounts in store and the cafe , where my daughter likes to study.. phenomenal smoothies, coffees muffins etc . Ch ch check it out!!
Linda King: Love this store and now that they rearrange things everything is so much easier to find it's a great setup now everybody needs to go and check out Barnes & Noble and find a great book or two great coffee nice way to enjoy an afternoon

R&B Used Books: what do users think?
Katie Incarnati: What an awesome bookstore!
Erin Horkey: Hands down the BEST bookstore!! I never walk out of R&B Used Bookstore without my arm(s) full of magical treasures just waiting to be devoured. In my opinion, Beth & Marissa are Super Hero's! They are amazing, very knowledgeable & always find exactly what I am looking for.
Kathleen Clark: Wonderful new find! Enjoyed the atmosphere, the kitties, and the huge, well-organized selection. The staff were terrific. Found five new treasures (one for my children's book collection, one for my daughter, one for me, and one for my mom- and she found one for a friend) Five stars for sure!
Amber Skiver: This bookshop is a local staple staffed by the most wonderful, kindhearted people. I always find something hidden on the shelves, even when I'm not looking. It's always changing and improving even though it's perfect as is. I recommend stopping in to browse the rooms of books and lay some love on both the bookshop kitties 🐈 &🐈‍⬛️
Ashley Lloyd: R & B books is wonderful! It has books for all ages. Always treated very well and they have good deals!New update: they now are carrying some newer books, stickers, candles, cool book merch, and they have kitties!😍I highly recommend this book store!😁
Barbara Montrull: Live this store. My favorite books. Prices good
Tabitha Dery: Loved it there! Plenty of books to choose from and the cutest little helpers!
Angela Cherniawski: Great selection. Great service. Friendly environment. Highly recommend!
Tracy Truchan: Love the staff! My favorite staff are the four legged ones running around the store!! If you've never stopped by, it's worth a visit for 10 rooms of books and kitty love!!!
Dale: A well organized used book store. Currently through end of December, 2022, a fantastic sale. During non-sale times one can reduce price paid for books by having an account set up by bringing in books. Very Fair!Books are pretty well organized.A favorite place for me.
Tiena Bruner: I’m from Michigan but live in Ohio and always make it a point to visit R&B when I am here visiting family. No need to go to a big fancy bookstore for floor to ceiling shelves when you can find them right here! Always a pleasure to visit and I always leave well stocked on treasures. If you are local, add this to your regular stops; if out of town, put it on your list of spots to visit. Highly recommend!
Lisa McGeen: Great store with amazing owners
Moira Tuttle: One of my favorite bookstores ever! An awesome selection and the owner is the nicest person! The staff can help you find whatever you need. A wonderful place to shop!
Ryan Niblett: Awesome used bookshop. Lots of good stock and variety!
Rick Tonda: Great little local book store!! Perfect atmosphere, great selection, just the right level of organization, and a couple of cats who clearly own the place!!
PsychicSource34: Interesting Book Store..books galore
Ryan Cavenaugh: Lovely place. Staff are always kind and helpful, and I don't often leave here empty-handed, unless I came in looking for something specific that they happened to be out of. It's a nice place to just browse around!
GreyMan Michigan: On 04/30/2022 at 2:45pm my family went here to get my kids some books to read. We are a large family we were mocked and made fun of because we had a large stroller with us to keep the kids from getting into to much stuff. Employee said WOW look at the train. Another comment was made to my wife about LOOK she even has one strapped to her . I can't imagine why these things were said and I will NEVER be back. I will also make it a point to let everyone I know the the employees here make fun of people. Hate to think about what they say about about people behind there back !!!
Jennifer P: A great local business that really cares about the customers and the community! I love browsing and it's a great way to stock up on kid's books.
April Kleindl: Fabulous used book store. Neat and tidy. Helpful staff. They now have occasional Saturday evening hours watch their FB page for future dates.
Elizxbeth: nope!! i am not looking for any specific manga! thank you so much! i will definitely be coming in soon!! :)

Comic Relief: what do users think?
chetham brazill: Nice place
Budgieking: Went there to get transformers shattered glass comics, and they reliably had it instockThey got almost every brand comic, and occasonally has vintage toys
Kayden Sharick: Very pact inside and not very friendly or helpful
Carmen Slocum: Lots of cool Pokemon cards!
Noel Stalker: Great selection of new comics and back issues
Matt Shaker: I have fond memories of this place from when I was a kid, so I went in and had a look around for old time's sake. I've been thinking of collecting comics again for years. But... look, I'm not going to be rude here, but I was disappointed with the customer service and the state of the store. I walked in with close to $500, and purchased nothing. I can't believe this is the same place I once met Mart Nodel, creator of Green Lantern.
Justin Latreille: Great people
Zach Cooper: Awesome local comic shop. Check it out!
Zugly Monster: So many Funko Pops
Cyberpunk Eddiegordozen: A very good selection of comic books all sorts of other collectibles as well would highly recommend
Duwayne Troyer: Get all you comic and games
Kellsy Pirozek: This place is awful. Was never greeted, or asked if we were alright, or needed anything. To the kid behind the counter; you don't have to click your nails on the counter while a customer is standing looking at items in the front of the store as if you're in some kind of hurry. You also don't have to roll your eyes at customers when they are talking to you about coming back for a comic YOU should have pulled, or flip their newly purchased comic in their face, because AGAIN, you're in some kind of hurry to get us out. Pretty rude. It's also VERY unorganized. Good luck finding anything specific you'd be looking for.
Gecko E: Place was amazing very nice worker tons of amazing comics
Thomas Natzke: Great place for comics and collectable they have a very large selection to choose from.
Kelly Brown: I am going to leave an honest review. In response, and based upon other honest reviews, the owner will probably be rude and tell me “good story”. But here goes: Parking is horrible. I had to park across the street and walk over. The store looks run down and shady. When you walk inside, it is not much better. Those who said it looks like someone’s basement are being generous. It is very disorganized, extremely dirty, dusty and has an unpleasant odor. No one was working at the register and no one ever greeted or acknowledged us the whole time we were in the store. There was some kind of card tournament going on in the back of the store. People had fast food out everywhere and were talking very loudly, including creative strings of curse words. Some merchandise in the store was covered in dust so thick I could not read the price tag. There was a dry erase calendar in the corner of the store that still had dates and events from July 2015. Everything appeared to be overpriced and I felt like I needed gloves to look through things. We left without purchasing anything and will not return based upon this experience. We went across town to the store on Richfield Rd. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. It was clean and well organized, no dust, no bad odors. They will have my business.
rick bastuba: Go see Lou ..
Dannielle Shafer: This was a great old school comic shop. My son Found some back issues he had been looking for and their new release wal was full of all kinds of independent releases! Really enjoyed the visit!
Jenn Hoornstra: I always find back issues I need. Well organized and helpful when I have questions.
Matt Anderson: Love this place, tons of great comics.
Bradley Winebarger: Fair price on everything I checked. Large selection of comics and magic cards. Also has a fair selection of board games, collectibles, and some other items.
J Nicholson: A true gem. Love this store! Staff is always friendly and willing to take the time to talk comics and super hero’s with my son. Everyone should take the time to stop in slow down and buy something tactile in this digital world. A comic book is a time machine that takes you to new worlds and even back to your childhood.

Faith Christian Store: what do users think?
Lisa Whitcombe: My go to place for knowledge, gifts and all things Christian ☺️😁
Thomas Plewka: Nice Religious store, well stocked friendly and knowledgeable staff
T: Great selection at this store
lisa zumsteg-bills: Most wonderful store, they have every book I was looking for as well as movies
Marquice Robinson: Hello do you guys sell rosaries?
David P: Love it. The workers are awesome. Love the book selection.
Amy Burns: Great friendly service
emziʕ ́•ᴥ•`ʔ: Organization was mid, books are decent, music choice is great, overall a great Christian environment
Breanna Chron: Amazing selections. Very friendly.
Symone Yvette: I love this Christian book store especially because the have beautiful bible cases for every size bible also calendars, book marks, crosses, numerous books for uplifting your spirit, tabletop statues, greeting cards among so many other items and the staff are very kind and friendly, you can also have your bible engraved, this store is simply the best, everyone should visit and you will enjoy it as much as I do.
Autumn Brown: Very friendly and caring employees. Right there to help in a jiffy! Also, I loved that they had a wide variety of things to browse through and was very spacious to get around freely throughout the store! I was with one of my nephews when we checked out he signed up for a reward account and accidentally told them his wrong phone number and a few days later he called and told him that he gave them his old phone number and they changed it without hassle and also at checkout we were provided with a store magazine/ catalog and had multiple coupons for his next purchase there! I am sure that he will be visiting there again in the near future!! Give them 5 stars for their rating! Awesome place!
Ps Joyner: The place for any type of Bible, great source for nice gifts, cards, study plans, staff knowledgeable and nice. Online available.
Zachary Siple: Faith Christian Store may be my favorite store. I also love some used DVD stores, but I love having a store that sells Christian merchandise! As a kid, I loved the Family Christian Store and I'm glad that this opened when those shut down. Whenever I come, I can find something to buy, usually a DVD. (I'm a film buff.) However, I don't care for a good chunk of Christian movies, like God's Not Dead, so I wish they had more classic faith based movies like King of Kings or something like that. Still, they have Christian comedy DVDs and other good movies there. (Even Bible movies with Legos!) And there's VeggieTales, you can't go wrong there! All in all, an excellent store for religious movies and other items! :)
Michelle Cartwright: Great very helpful
Maria Hannuksela: Found Christmas decoations 1/2 off, superbuys
Bob Strygulec: Extremely helpful staff. Really good at customer service!
Cindy Fej: Could not purchase a Mary statue without buying a whole nativity set. I am not Christian, and was purchasing a gift for my mother-in-law, who just wanted a small Mary statue, to go with her Joseph that broke. The gentleman who tried to help me, recommended another store, and ended up getting one there. If you're a Christian store, you should at least carry a Joseph, Mary, and Jesus, I'd think.. especially around Christmas. He said they usually don't, and the nativity sets are just seasonal, even. This makes me even more frustrated about the Abrahamic faiths. You want money.. but if you need to replace one thing, you'd have to buy a $50 set. Go capitalism for Jesus! 😔
Jimmie Rogers: Extensive selection of Bibles and related Christion materials and products. Friendly , helpful staff.
David Keith: Stopped by with my aunt. She wanted to pick up some Christmas cards. I just looked around and was really impressed by all the Christian stuff they had.
Lisa Coleman: Wonderful store and staff
Christopher Martin: Good store but confusing on bibles need more music titles only have newer one I like Carmen and Acapella and couldn't find them.

Collette's Vintage and Antique Mall: what do users think?
Debra G: This store was very good but unfortunately it's closed it's doors on Dec. 31. I'm told she's trying to find another place to set up shop again. Keeping an eye on Facebook as she's posting her new location as soon as she's able. Finger's crossed that she's able to do it. It was a great place for everything, Old and New. Sorry to see it close.
Carol brock Rathburn: Sad they were closing but I understood why Boy The Price's were so Expensive even trying to get Rid of Stuff. I couldn't even imagine what the prices were before they had to close.
Hollie: Beautiful, big, wonderful antiques center. This is NOT a junk shop. Real vintage merchandise. Be prepared to pay for antique/vintage goods!
Robert Seymore: Went inside to the leather shop to see a shoulder holster and Dan was very pleasant and easy to talked too, and settles on a price and showed me a couple he made for other customers. He knows his trade and takes great pride in his creation. Highly recommend!
Leedog Day: Always something new in there and the people are absolutely wonderful
Albert Isaac: Wonderful place to check out a very wide variety of objects.
Kelly Curtright: Collette's is a great antique and collectible mall! It is where I chose to put my own collectable games booth, Second Chances. There is a wide variety of wares and merchandise. It is a great place to spend several hours on a Saturday or Sunday!
Florena Brodman: Collette's is a FANTASTIC antique and thrift store! All of the booths are attractively arranged and eye catching! There are numerous varieties of collectables for any taste! There is even a booth for board games with something for everyone. They stock gently used vintage games and newer games, and some are even new in box!
Karla Rioux: Awesome flea market!
Pat Mistak: What a great shop - and so huge! We didn't have time to go thru the whole place!
Eric Henley: It's an awesome I went here today I bought alot of things I love the black room
lynda Clark: Love it!!! I need to go back!
Crystal Larrs: Loved it so many beautiful items I love mine see yah soon thank you
Jeff Gushman: This place truly has something for everyone. It’s almost inconceivably big. There’s rooms on top of rooms. Aside from a few booths, most were very organized. The antiques seem to be more on the perimeter, with more craft type items mixed in the middle. I left with plenty of good things. Staff is very friendly. Mind the potholes if you’re coming in from Belsay Rd! I have to say, the 4% credit card fee is a little bit frustrating in todays world, and that’s where they lose a star.
Jerry: Lots of stuff
Marilou Uhl: Must see
Chris Michalec: This is a refurbished Harley Davison dealership. It had alot of antiques. Well worth a stop in to take a look!
K: This is my favorite antique/shabby chic store. It's quiet and roomy aisles for browsing. My favorite has to be Gypsy Junk, and Jeans Treasures has fantastic painted dressers!
Peggy Hodge: Lots of fun stuff. Very vintage. Had a fun day. Will be back.
A. Carina Spears: This is a lovely antiques market with multiple booths. Unlike similar venues, you may not see all the vendors in attendance. That is because all the merchandise tags are marked with the seller's booth number as well as the price.Additionally, you may be able to get a measuring tape at the front to size up the tables and cabinets for sale, but it is always a good idea to bring your own after measuring your space at home if shopping for furniture. Take pictures of the booth names or aisles if you find something you want to come back to or need help with fetching. It is a huge space and can be confusing. Look up for street signs making which aisle you are in. It is a vintage hunter's paradise with many of the pieces reasonably priced.
deborah carrier: My daughter and I enjoy looking around at all the lovely things. Especially the carnival glass pieces. Purchased a chair this time and a candy dish.
