(this is being way to nice) We worked with Mitch who treated me like my order didn't matter because I wasn't a big contractor. Very little help picking out what we needed. Back and forth trips to get things right. $8000.00 and 2 months later our J channel does not match our special ordered shake siding. The color is not right. I was told TOUGH LUCK that is what the manufacturersent to go with the color you chose. No way will we be doing business with them again.

D Hogie: I have done at least three house remodels with ABC and have had significant problems with them getting the order correct and supplying me with the right products. This is not a fault of mine; I have detailed notes and documents identifying their mistakes. I also recently tried to take back my left-over soffit to the Pierson Road location. This soffit was a back order from Fenton location for 4 weeks, which they initially had me wait for 2 weeks and said it would be on the next truck coming in at Fenton AND IT WAS NOT! (after waiting two weeks!). When Larry did not have it and said nobody had it, I then called around and found the soffit in Wixom, which it was there the whole time of me waiting and Larry thinking he had to order it from Fenton. I took the hour and a half trip and picked up the rest of my soffit from the Wixom store. So, after I was done, I figured the closest store was the Flint store to my location so I would take the extra soffit back. They did not accept it, and I provided all detailed receipts, as they said I had to take it back to the Wixom store because they do not carry that soffit or color. Which if I were to call them, which is what I did when I left there, oh yeah they can order it no problem, does not make any sense when all the stores carry the soffit and ABC Supply is a company name and not a single distributor per location! This makes no sense as they are a corporation and have One name as a business. I called the Wixom location and they said yes, they should have taken it back and they would have just invoiced it and brought it back to the Wixom location as they have trucks constantly feeding that location. This is the worse customer service I have ever seen, and I would recommend doing business elsewhere in the future! I would suggest not doing business with the Flint location as they are very unorganized and unprofessional!!!!!

Rich Mcginley: Was told when I bought my singles they would deliver to the roof no problem. He said to give him 2 days notice not to set a day then because things could change with the weather and long as he had two day notice it was no problem. Call 5 days in advance, and told all they can do is drop them on the ground because they are busy. After a while I’m told they can send one guy out and I’d have to unload them but it would only be the next morning. Then they bring them and totally miss my driveway tearing up my lawn.

Drew Morris: Greg went above and beyond for my wife and I. We were VERY undecided on a color and he listened to all of our concerns and narrowed down a few colors for us. He then went and cut a couple sample pieces out for us since these colors were brand new and they did not have samples. He also took numerous phone calls in regards to our inability to decide on a color until we finally chose one.We had previously gone through three other companies and all three said let us know when you decide or find one and refused to provide samples. Long story short they waste your time and are not professional when dealing with customers or following through. If I could have gotten what I needed else where I sure would have.

The gentleman I talked to at Mid Michigan Metal Sales was very courteous and helpful. He took my order and said they would sent a confirmation email.I received the email confirming my order and within like two days of ordering the vented closure UPS delivered it to my door. The closure was exactly the type I wanted and was securely packaged. The closure was also cheaper than the other vendor's.I highly recommend Mid Michigan Metal Sales

Jim Russell: The product seems to be very good (We have only had the material installed for 1.5 years, so it is certainly too soon to know. ) but the customer service stinks. Also, read ALL the fine print. The directions for measurement say to be sure you measure it EXACTLY, however they get to cut it from -0.5 to + 2.0 inches. Yep, you guessed it, we were cutting everyone of those panels to get them to fit correctly. Then there was the delivery- We had panels that were 32 feet long, and the instructions were to have "someone" be there to help you unload. (They have no means to mechanically unload the panels) The bundles were literally tons of material, and if we had not had a tractor with a front end loader, all the bundles would have had to have been disassembled and each panel unloaded individually. Also, we ordered Gabled pieces and with that comes the z channel pieces automatically. Yep you guessed it again, we had enough gable, but ran out of z pieces........And if you are doing the installation yourself, which may go over the 30 day "return policy" forget it. Then they sold us the wrong snow stop pieces for our style of roof. I had to go to the manufacturer of the snow stop to get the right one, I took the printed materials back to Mid Michigan to show them the correct item, and they made a copy of the print out because they DIDN'T KNOW. So, in summary, the knowledge and communication of information about metal roofing stinks. If you are a do it yourself kind of person, don't expect any help from them. Also, buy a really GOOD set of cutters, as you are going to need them to get the panels the correct length. Oh, one last item. We ordered some parts, they called and told us they were in, we went to pick them up and they gave our parts to someone else, ans then we had to wait another 4 working days to get them.

I had a 130 year old bentwood sewing machine case that needed a piece of trim to match what was/is still on the case...the gentlemen in the sales store were PHENOMENAL! Not only did they recommend the wood to use for the trim, but walked us back to the mill, where am employee there made the wood to mirror EXACTLY the piece still on the sewing machine case!The staff was not only friendly, but knowledgable and went out of their way to accommodate us. After getting home, we needed a slightly smaller molding. We went back, the salesman found the Molding for us and rang us up. Walked over to the pickup area. I was out in just a few minutes. He put a wrap around the two pieces so it would be more convenient for me to carry, then opened the door for me.
