Crystal Cook: I complained about a certain bus driver speaking to my child in a rude manner (amongst other odd behaviors) and was told by the supervisor that this particular bus driver has had multiple complaints but because they can’t prove what she’s doing that means they can’t take action. Safety should be their priority. Obviously if multiple parents are complaining about the same person, something is not right.

Eddie Edward: I drive a tractor trailer and seen two grand blanc buses headed south bound at about 6 pm 10/29/22 full of passengers driving extremely recklessly on u.s. 23 in ann arbor. It gave me a knot in my stomach watching them speed, tailgate and whip in and out of lanes. I sure wouldn't want my child on those buses.

Driver has missed bus stop when dropping the kids off and had them walk down a busy road to house. When I called the supervisor was not understanding, which makes me understand why this driver is like this. Poor supervision creates poor staff.

Yesterday one had to slam her breaks on and barely missed a DTE truck AFTER she came around the corner like she was on a go cart. Maybe Flushing needs to make sure they hire people who acrually care about the safety of their children.

Dan Carpenter: Lots of special people there. Literally parked in the middle of the drive so no one could get out. Just think these "special " people are in charge of getting out kids to and from school safe.

Mayor Bradley: As a senior of Clio high school, I can say the bus service is absolutely terrible. Too many times students are told a bus won't be available only an hour before the end of the school day.This puts students in a tough spot especially if a parent is working and can't come to pick them up. Luckily I am fortunate enough that my mom can pick me up most days if the bus gets cancelled, but too many times I have had to give a friend a ride home because his bus was cancelled at the last minute.If a bus takes someone to school in the morning, it should be ready to take them home at the end of the day instead of stranding them if a parent of friend can't help.

Danny Carpenter: My daughter rides the red bus to lacure. It seems like every other day the bus is canceled or can't bring her home. The bussing system is unreliable. How are you supposed to go to work when you never know if your child will be picked up or abandoned at the school. Something has to happen. If it's being short staffed. Find people. Offer them something more than McDonald's. We pay school taxes.Safe and reliable transportation is part of this.

peace love Dental: My oldest is in the middle school and we have never in all the years had a problem with clio transportation until this year. My youngest is in 1st grade at Garner and she got a new bus driver a few weeks ago. She has drove right past my daughter 3 times already! Not including she doesnt even pick her up in the right spot. She makes her walk. My daughter has missed 2 days because they dont run her bus in the afternoon if they are short staffed. I try and be understanding of the fact that they have a shortage but i dont have a car right now or any other way to get her back and forth from school. I feel like shes missing out because she doesnt have transportation. Seriously breaks my heart when she cries because she cant go to school and there is nothing i can do about it!!!!!

Christina Diamond: My poor daughter goes to the middle school and gets picked up in front of our house on tuscola. Her pick up time is 6:21. She goes out there about 6:19 and gets picked up any time between 6:20 & 6:45! It's under 30 degrees! The only time it's consistent is when there's a sub which leads me to believe that her normal driver is screwing around before leaving. She's the first pick up! What is the problem?!

albino ape: I myself am a sophomore and have experienced more than a few of these buses. Absolutely terrible. Some buses have no heat, some break down frequently, etc etc. Some windows are always broken (not shattered, but the locking mechanism does not work) and are fixed by simply screwing something in?There's no "Bus Driver Review" but I will include my own "Review" of my bus driver. My bus driver is a sexist and childish jerk. I'll include a few examples of what she has done/does.She will occasionally put makeup on while driving the bus! She has almost went off the road a couple of times because of this and this makes me feel at risk for whenever I get on that bus with her. She also texts and drives (you may think I'm making this up but I'm really not, she doesn't deserve to be a bus driver, risking the lives of several kids) and I don't like the idea of that. Another time (about two months ago) a kid (I won't be using his specific name for obvious reasons, so I'll simply refer to him as Bob) was getting onto the bus and our bus driver closed the door while he was entering (she saw him but she did it anyway) and his arm got caught in the door and she started to drive! Luckily Bob was able to free his arm. There is many more things she has done but listing all of them would take too much time.I ride bus #34 along with a few of my other friends. Tammy (or spelled Tammie, I am not positive on the way it is spelled) is a terrible bus driver and I feel that my life is at risk because of her driving habits. If your son or daughter rides bus #34, I feel sorry for you.Bus garage, please do something about this.
