Erika Alvayero: I walked in on 04/04/2023 around 12pm to pick up some cleaning wipes. I walked through the aisles looking for them. Apparently I made the mistake of carrying a large purse that day and the added mistake of picking up items while shopping. The female employee started to yelling at me. “You can’t bring that bag in here.” I apologized and told her I didn’t know. She then tells me “I saw you stealing and putting things in that bag.” I politely informed her that I did no such thing and that I would gladly let her check my bag. I walked up to the register to present her my bag. She told me to leave. If you feel like getting accused and harassed then this is the store for you. If not, then you should stay clear and stay far away.

The manager is very rude to workers as well as customers if it wasn't for that I would give them five star

Laura Wykoff: 6/7/22 The Fenton Rd Family Dollars store.. The Lady at the registered was very rude and was on the phone all the time , I was in there , she didn't give me my money in my hand , she just put it on the counter , and keep on talking on the phone didn't care about anyone else , and I did ask the other workers about who the manager was , and she said she the manager, and I did say she should know better. I would like to talk to her Manager.

Aaron bronson: Sometimes they open at 8 am, sometimes they open at 11 am, sometimes they close at 8 pm and sometimes they close at 12 pm. Hours are posted on the door but they are completely inaccurate. Usually only 1 register open, even while the manager is standing behind the counter just watching the cashier work, waiting for the cashier to need assistance with returns or other issues. The employees are not friendly, I have even recently been shorted 35 cents because the manager said she didn't wouldn't open a roll of dimes because it made counting the drawer down harder. I no 35 cents is not much but if you take that from multiple customers each day, that 35 cents adds up. They won't let me be 35 cents short so yes it upset me very much!

Nate Childs: So I usually hate putting bad reviews on places especially local places that are always so convenient to use, but there really is no excuses as to why they had the store closed to “remodel” the entire store interior and they still have 100 carts laying around with inventory filling up aisles that should be kept in the back. So on top of having to go through an obstacle course just to find something so small as ramen…now the entire store is changed around so it’s even harder to find products, the workers are super lazy and just don’t seem to care at all. There’s trash everywhere it’s just not professional and it’s not customer friendly at all…the lines take forever for these workers to scan a few items and bag them. Absolute laziness I wouldn’t be surprised if this store was closed down from neglect.

Tina R: A convenient place to run in and grab a few things. They are very short-staffed though. There are always boxes stacked up in the aisles making it difficult to maneuver around the store. There is always a line at the check-out. Employees are friendly.

Elizabeth Parnell: The manager could have been a little nicer. This is not my first experience with this store. I went in the Dollar General on Pierson and MLK the cashier was rude. I wanted to pay some cash & some debit. He took it upon himself to charge My card want he wanted. It was a line that's y I really didn't just wait & tell him a few More things. Not all of their employees are rude but they need to send an General Manager in there to check out their customer service skills. 😡😡

Kylie Allen: I went to this location for the first time in months. The employees were nice but I went in with a 12 item list and left with 2 of them. I could not walk though 4 of the 5 isles I needed to get to. Boxes and carts blocking aisles to the point you cannot walk the aisle, let alone get a cart through. Clothing aisle had clothes and hangers all over the floor getting run over. Might as well hire someone with the amount of items that aren’t being purchased.

Dawn's Dogs: The one thing I like most is the employees! They are always very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. They also seem to be happy to be there and never fail to greet you when you arrive. The selection of merchandise is really good and things are pretty much always in stock. Although the isles do tend to be somewhat cluttered with carts of inventory, employees are always working hard to get it put in its place. The prices here are considerably less than similar businesses too. Last but not least, they have a really, really good inventory of groceries, including lots of healthy choices, such as all natural peanut butter, and almond and soy milk for those of us who are lactose intolerant.

Eric The Explorer: Okay this Dollar General is great with deals and prices! That's why I gave it 3 stars, The reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because of employees and there was a line that you didn't even know where it started or ended! I walked in the store I tried to find an employee there was books and pencils and pens and papers laying everywhere inventory just laying on the ground The store was just completely not picked up or stocked right. And on top of it all they put a trainee on the register with no help and when they finally called for help it took about 20 minutes for another worker that knew how to use the registers to come up and help there were two drawers! The other one the person was stocking shelves instead of picking up stuff that was just laying around everywhere I couldn't find what I wanted and for about 10 minutes of really looking hard! All in all I would avoid this dollar general just because of the way it's ran. Who knows and 6 months from now or a year from now the staff will be more organized. 🤷😕

Amanda Anderson: I shop at this location often and have never had any issues. Staff is always nice and helpful and the store looks organized. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience this evening and I never leave bad reviews but the way I was made to feel I’m sure corporate offices wouldn’t be happy to know they sales associate was completely rude. It was about 7:45 Sunday evening and I needed to get just a couple things real quick. There was an announcement made saying the time was now 9:00 and the store was closed. I was confused because the time was actually 8:00 soo was under the impression the lady thought it was 9. About 8:02 the sales associate shouts from a different isle and asks me if I’m done yet in a very rude tone. I was shocked and replied oh I’m sorry are you closed? She said yea her coworker just made an announcement. I responded yes she did but she also said it was 9:00 and it’s only 8. I wanted to find her and throw my 4 items at her but I decided to just make my purchase and leave. I’ve worked in sales for many years and I have never treated anyone r seen anyone else treat someone so rudely. I really hope that 2 minutes after 8 didn’t prevent her from whatever she was in such a rush to do. The lady at the register was very nice and understanding compared to her wildebeast of a coworker. I will not be returning to this location

Vivian Bennett: Dollartree has a wide range of products. But, if you are looking for dishes, definitely try them. They are good quality, sturdy, and affordable. And they look nice, too. You could certainly decorate your table fashionably.
