Lynda Shaw: I have recently started using the services that are offered at the Eastside Senior Center. I used to live in Burton and I would go to Burtons Senior Center. Now that I moved I go here. Use the computer room. Order lunches weeks in advance. They're only $3.00 you can eat in or take it to go. They have a whole list of things to do. Check it out if you have the opportunity.

XOKree: Was told they provide transportation to and from their center within 10 miles of the community, I asked what she means by community she said the city of Flint. I gave her my address which is 5.1 miles away and she says we’re outside of their box border. Made me feel like they’re discriminating against north side senior citizens within the distance she said originally of their center. It felt more of a “we don’t go to your kind of neighborhood” conversation.

daryl gibson: I'm just gonna use this to post my opinion, I believe the police should be trying to have positive relations with the people, but that can't happen cuz if you even want to ask a police officer a question your odds are very good of winding up in hands cuffs ! And this is exactly why the vast majority of people don't trust or want anything to do with cops!!

myroutine Myroutine: For about 21 months our mother had been a resident of Woodhaven. We have nothing but positive things to say about the facility and the wonderful staff who work there. Everyone is so kind, helpful and eager to be of assistance. The place is kept clean, the laundry is cared for and the meals are excellent! They also work hard make sure there are many wonderful activities for the residents. As a place for independent living, you could really do no better. All the staff and residents became family to us. Due to mom’s progressively worsening dementia, we felt it necessary to move her to a long-term care facility. However, we will have nothing but pleasant and wonderful memories of Woodhaven and all of the people we were privileged to get to know. Many many thanks to all of you for taking such good care of mom! We appreciate all of your excellent service and love. We will never forget you!Family of former Woodhaven Resident
