Guy Winohradsky: UNBELIEVEABLE! Our church in Holly had a drain obstruction. Not complete, but after a while slow flush etc. So, we called a recommended drain cleaner to snake the line to the street. They ran 100ft of snake and it did not clear the line. We told them that about 15 years ago the same thing happened, and one 100ft snake did not clean it, but when they went and got another 100ft the 200ft cleared the line. They told us that there was supposed to be a cleanout every 70 ft and that we would have to have one installed, recommended a service that would install one for $5000, left without fixing anything and charged us full price.So, I called Root-A-Way, and told them we need 200ft of snake put in our line. They said the cost was $350, and they could do it the next morning. Two men and two trucks showed up right on time and ran the 200ft of snake, but it still did not clean the line. They said it would have to be jetted, which they would do for $400. But since they did not clear the blockage, ONLY CHARGED US A $100 SERVICE CALL FEE, not the full $350. About an hour later a big truck and two men arrived, and ran over 250 ft of jet hose down the line, but still did not solve the problem, at which time the conclusion was it was really the Village part of the system that was at fault. Even though they stayed quite a while to talk to the village person, they still only charged us a $250 service charge because they did not fix it. The village finally concluded that the problem was in their part of the line, and it is now fixed.The bottom line is Root-A-Way did everything and more to justify charging the full amount both times, but only charged us the service charge because they were unable to clear the line, even though it was not their fault.Service:Sewer cleaning

Kody Clark: Had this company come out to unclog my pipe. The technician a professional could not remove my toilet to auger the pipe so went to the clean out cap to attempt it but could not get the cap off so he broke it off and replaced it. Told my wife it was all good. Not once did my wife hear the auger turn on. Once I got home from work the issue was not solved. Upon investigation there was a blockage before main sewer line I cut my pvc pipe and unclothed and replaced the pipe because this company has unprofessional experienced "Technicians". 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎. Spoke with a female on the phone at Root A Way who was extremely helpful and professional. Within a couple hours, on an extremely busy schedule due to flooding rain water, James showed up and fixed the problem instantly. Karee Dawkins: I had service done in my home for a flooding floor drain in my basement on Tuesday 12-20-22. The first guy came out and got the water down and that was that. Then on Friday 12-23-22 the same problem happened. I called and they scheduled for another technician to come out on Monday 12-26-22. Now this second guy was very efficient in his work. Joel Loney: Many 5 star reviews for this business, so they must do great work. However, my experience was poor. Everything was great until I actually needed to use the service. I received the work order on Monday and asked if I needed to sign this and send it back and there was no response. I spoke with them on Monday after receiving the work order and was never told they needed the work order signed and returned. Spoke on the phone and asked to be placed on the schedule. I texted that night and asked to be placed on the schedule. I inquired on Tuesday about receiving an itemized version of the work order so I could see if there was potential for some cost cutting, things we could do ourselves. The company responded to my email by telling me that they'd accepted another customer and that wold be the last customer of the year and they could get to me in the spring or I could find someone new. I called and voiced my displeasure. I was told that I needed to have signed and returned the work order, even though I specifically asked and was never told that was required. I told them 16 hours ago I had asked to be put on the schedule and they apologized and said they must have missed that, but it's too late now. This company probably does a great job with the installation, but their customer service sucks. Brad was a nice guy, but his handling of this was unfortunate. To ignore me and then tell me they never heard from and moved on was ridiculous. I spoke to the man on the phone and then they proceeded to say I never asked to be put on the schedule, never returned the work order signed, so they moved on. Absolute garbage customer service. I ended up using a different company that was phenomenal and I would recommend every time over these guys.
