Lyndsey Rodgers: Let me start by saying the staff are ALWAYS amazing here! I have enjoyed shopping here for a few years & have shopped at many other DSW’s. I was really disgusted a few weeks ago though when 2 different pairs of shoes, out of the box (one clearance) had clearlyyyyy been worn and put back in their boxes. I don’t think that is DSW’s policy & I would hope not. I had the nice staff order me a new pair from the ones on the floor. I was willing to take the dirty ones from clearance if given a significant discount. I was only offered 10% which was a joke in my opinion. I declined the offer. I will still come back but what is going on here? Please don’t put dirty shoes back in a box & offer your customers, especially loyal ones, better deals on damaged goods. As a fellow business owner, this isn’t good practice. Thanks 💞

Cody Thompson: I play hockey and had a problem with the tongues on my skates digging into my ankle. He put new tongues on my skates and completely fixed my issue. Told me it would most likely take a week, or week and a half. He had them done two days later.
Matthew Wolverton: They do phenomenal shoe repairs here. I wish I would've taken before pictures because I had worn these shoes down so badly I didn't think they were repairable. I just wanted them resoled so they would be functional but they were able to clean out salt stains and polish them beautifully. Now they look better than they ever did.In addition to repair they also have a nice selection of shoes in the store.

If you have homecoming,snowcoming, prom, wedding whatever- give this place a try first. Guaranteed you won't be disappointed.

So, In the last year I'd say that I have spent 5-600 dollars in the shoe dept in flint..so my wife and I go there yesterday to spend a few more hundred dollars to be rudely disrespected over our "reward membership"... We picked out our shoes go to the cashier and I give my reward phone number ,so the lady asks what's the name on the account and I answered Elizabeth and was told no that's not it, so I laugh a little and say okay it's under Beth after that I was treated pourly about how that needs to be fixed and I need to stay on top of these things etc... Long story short I kindly told this lady that I do not care if I buy shoes here...I can go anywhere else in the mall and she replies with Do it! This was at 5 pm (I'm not sure of the cashier's name) But the shoe dept can thank her for losing them several hundred dollars a year, this was my favorite place to go for shoes (as per I am addicted to buying shoes) Never once has a store I frequent not wanted my money....

Great customer service, and welcoming upon entry of the store. Jim went above and beyond to not only fit me with my desired boots but also made sure i received my discount. Thanks again to the folks at Red Wing.
Neha Crowl: My fiance got a pair of welding boots about 4 yrs ago from this store, the guy said if anything happens to them bring them back and we will either fix them or give you another pair since they have a lifetime warranty on them. Well my fiance only wore them for about 3 months since we got them in 2019. And the heel and rubber cap ripped out of the boot. So we took them back on 4/15 and they said they can't help us, they can't fix them and they can't replace them. Then one of sales guy said Red Wings got rid of the lifetime warranty 19 years ago. This place has lost a good customer and we will let everyone know that this place is a joke and the employees are rude and liars.

Timothy Gasparski: Take it from a veteran backpacker and hiker of over 50 years, there is no better hiking boot better than the sewn welt heavy duty trailblazer model 878. I've gone thru those higher priced European brands and bonded welt boots like Bic pens, Irish Setter boots outlast, outwear and remain waterproof by far. And this store is by far the best for customer service and complimentary swag! Thank You for the socks and mink oil which the total was the same as the boots alone with the discount. You have a customer for life.
