boomnerd: I first purchased some sods at a hardware store. They did not look so bad when I bought, but turned into brown right after laying them. Then, I removed them and picked up replacements at DeBuck's. They are fresh (cut and rolled right before picking up) and so beautiful after 2 weeks. Good serive and reasonable prices. I will never use anything but ones from DeBuck's.

Large corporate deliveries are one thing, residential deliveries in a small community another. Damages to lawns and landscaping are unacceptable, and even more so when they are not even customer property but many of the customer's neighbors. The driver's apology and assistance in salvaging what could be fixed are the only things keeping stars on this board. GET AN ADDITIONAL SMALLER DELIVERY TRUCK AND RESEARCH YOUR DROP ZONE!!! COME ON!

She was very patient and generous with her knowledge, as I was a complete n00bie at this.I have returned over and over again, since spring of 2020, into this spring, 2021, to fill my tarp-lined Honda Element with rolls of freshly cut sod.I love doing business with this small, family owned farm and the sod is wonderful and affordably priced.It is easy...I just follow the signs back to where the guys are cutting and loading the sod rolls, and within less than 5 minutes I have a load of sod to take home and lay.Because it is so affordable, I avoided the hassle of planting seeds, babying them, and waiting for months to have it grow in properly.I highly recommend this business. :)

Megan Harvey: We had the best experience with this company this past weekend. They had the best prices for sod and scattered the pallets throughout our yard to make it easier to lay for us. Our one year old daughter came out to wave hi and see the tractor. My husband went out to give the man a tip for being so kind and making our job easier; however, he would not accept it and handed us a $100 bill to go buy diapers and such for our daughter. We were in shock and couldn’t believe it. There are truly wonderful and generous people in this world still and they work for (or own) this company. If you’re looking for sod these people deserve your business, they will not disappointment!

J C: Nice sod but had 1 pallet that was clearly not cut the morning of. Had a bit of a problem and the woman I spoke to was very friendly and said they would make it right. All I asked for was 25 rolls (entire pallet was basically dead) and they agreed to bring it out. Fast forward a few days and I hadn’t heard back from them. Called to see the status on delivery and they completely changed their story. Now it was my fault I didn’t lay it on Friday and they would have to charge me. And they would deliver it when they got around to it. Maybe it’s my fault maybe not, but when you tell a customer your going to make it right and then completely change your mind without informing the customer who’s waiting on this delivery... that’s just bad customer service. Oh and I ordered 12000sf of sod. All I asked for was 25 rolls to be replaced. Pretty reasonably on my end I think. Overall, nice sod but poor customer service from my experience.
