Diane Adams: We have been and continue to be very impressed with every aspect of the North Coast Solar company. Their work ethics and workmanship as well as camaraderie amongst their technicians were above and beyond what I see in most work place experiences. The interview to discuss their company and their solar energy benefits and what we should expect out of our solar panels was straight forward and concise. This was by no means a hard sell orientation. We also were only sold the number of solar panels that our household required after they looked at our consumers bill to see what we used. The panels are only on the south side of the roof where they will get the most sun light. We were in contact with them every step of the way. All questions were answered promptly and any problems we had were addressed the same day. I have to say we didn't really have any problems just questions. We were also given the Enphase App to download on our phones and we can monitor how many kilowatts each panel is producing throughout the day. There is also 24 hour system operating assistance. They are quick to answer and resolve any problems with the Envoy system communicating with your phone and the Gateway icloud. We were told what to expect in the way of saving and that the installer would come and meet with us in 6 months after installation to see if we are getting the savings promised. In 2025 we will get a tax credit for going green. The staff worked well together and communicated with us when the electricity would be interrupted and for how long. We went without electricity for maybe 30 min. The electricians made sure they had everything ready to go when they were installing the new electrical panel we wanted so we would be up to code. Our house was built in the 1920's and was originally a barn. Needless to say, our attic blown in insulation is massive. The technician who went into the attic was careful not to let any extra insulation drop off of him on his way down the ladder and down the steps and out the front door where he swept himself off. He let me get a photo of him covered in insulation! The solar panel technicians who were installing the panels actually noticed our piece of soffit that had come loose 15' up on our 2nd story roof area and he investigated it and placed the nail in a more accurate position and tucked it back into the siding! Whattttt!? That was so crazy nice and what a work ethic. I hadn't even mentioned it but I saw it was fixed and asked him about it. He just said; "Yeah, I saw it coming loose and thought I'd just see if it was an easy fix and it was. Glad to help!" Every aspect of the crew was amazing. They were delightful to be around and a very cooperative and well oiled machine of communication and willingness to help each other with each and every phase of the installation. The installation was done so well that a few days later when Consumers came to inspect the installation it was approved and I received an e-mail for my signature from Consumers the same day! I loved that all of the workers ate lunch together after the owner bought it to them so they could all eat together and yet save time on their solar installation project.We are proud of our beautiful and energy efficient Solar Panels by North Coast Solar.They each picked up after themselves from their work sites, the attic, the hallway to the attic, the yard near the electrical panels and the Enphase box and solar panel power box, the basement and steps where they had to move our old electrical box from above the steps to further into the basement to make it up to code.
