Nathan Ellis: Well where do I begin dropped my set of skis off last week and was told I would have them taken care of in a few days for my trip. Couple days go by so I called to get an update and they let me know they are ready but it was end of the day. After clarifying they close at 7pm and that I won’t be able to pick them up and I have a family member who will be there 100% to grab them which they agreed they would be open. Well My family member arrived at 6pm and these guys decided to close early. Now I’m out of my skis and missed our family annual ski trip due to terrible client service.

I loved the time that I went with my Relative when my Niece got her Special Olympics Winter Gear at Shumaker's & through the Clio School District that She Participated in & Won. Shumaker's Staff was great. And Worked great with our Relatives & Students, Teachers & Parents. They Shumaker's Employees have alot of Patience & are Kind & have & give Great Customer Service. I purchased boots from another retailer and they didn’t properly fit me which was causing numbness which was making learning how to ski miserable. The gentleman who helped me instantly seen my boots were cutting my circulation off and was an easy adjustment. Also got me into a nice set of insoles and made such an improvement. Mariucci Family: This is the worst company ever we drove an hour to rent a machine that was completely broken we had to drive it back an hour said they would fix it to rent it again and they never did, we had kept the chemicals here to use because we thought we were going to get the machine back. the machine never got fixed two months later they charge us 500$ fo the chemicals we told them to come get them and they threatened to call the cops on stolen goods when told them they are theirs to come get them!! we wasted so much money driving a huge truck 4 hours already for nothing! AVOID working with the company they rent broken stuff and stole money!

Shannan Kingsbury: We run a painting company and called to rent A scissor lift. After several times of asking the people who were helping us how much the price was finally we got an answer of $269. We gave them details for drop off and they told us that everything was fine and they were charged a card the next day. Day of the job they call us to tell us that our card is being declined so I told them I called him back and told them to read to do it again to make sure they have the right card and then they said it got declined again so I asked “how much are you charging the card for”? The guy who was on the phone said “oh it’s usually around $500” I said OK well you only told us $269 he goes “oh that’s just for delivery” mind you this is at 5o’clock in the evening closing time for them apparently so my husband and I asked them if they would wait for us so that we can go to the bank and deposit more money onto our card or if they would take cash. They said that the driver can’t take cash and it’s 5 o’clock were closing they would not accommodate us whatsoever!!! That was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life I will never recommend this company to anyone ever!!! Not to mention the guy that was on the phone with us told us that it was our fault that we didn’t have money on the card. Needless to say we went and bought scaffolding and we’re still getting the job done no thanks to you guys! We might be there till five in the morning but it’s going to be done if anyone wants good customer service you can call us at Best Brush Painting. I would love it if the owner gave us a call also. I can’t believe that he would be OK with this kind of treatment. Y’all lost a customer and I’m gonna tell you right now that we are busy busy busy!!

Craig Nicolai: I rented a bobcat and excavator from them.they never verbalized that a day is 8 hours..it's only in fine print at the bottom of the page..they also never explained they would keep 85$ in "damage waiver"..so basically they charged me 1000$ instead of 500$..Jim randomly decides who he will charge extra and how much.they have deceptive business practices..and Jim is a liar and extremely disrespectful.Run from this place!!!

Emily Brennan: After agreeing to do curbside pick up where they bring the power washer rental out to me during COVID-19 because I’m high-risk they decided to change their mind the day of pick up. We had agreed to it and he had even sent me an email for me to fill out the credit card slip online and sending my drivers license through email so I wouldn’t have to have any contact. Then when calling to extend the rental time he agreed but then told me I had to come in so they could show me how to use it. I don’t appreciate the last minute change and I will definitely never recommend this place or go back

Called when we got there to check in told them the spot we were in they said ok and hung up before asking our name so we called back and they said our info pops up when we call so they didn't need our name so we thought all was good. Then we waited over 30 minutes for our order. We contacted support and they we told we didn't check in. Support was helpful and not long after they appeared. During the time we sat there only 2 cars ahead of us were helped and only about 5 cars total in the pick up spots including ours.

I rented a dump trailer to move 25 tons of gravel on the crappiest day of 2023 winter, lol. I got super lucky and rented their brand new 14' dump trailer. Sherry Spring: This is a great place if you need to rent any sort of equipment, things that you wouldn't usually use more than a handful of times... saving you money on having to purchase these items. You can call ahead to make sure that they have the item you need and if they don't happen to have it at that time they will let you know when it will be available. Customer service is very good!
