First Street Residence Hall: what do users think?
venita martin: Very nice and clean
Miles Warren: It's not a dorm
Regena Campbell: This is my first experience this year and someone has already stolen my daughter's package (a debit card and check). It was mailed Priority First Class Signature Confirmation (money lost) with a return address. I mailed it Saturday, it was delivered and signed for Monday (technically 2 days) and "they" claim it was "thrown away" because it went to the wrong building! Really?!! Why not send it back - Return To Sender?!! What type of incompetent person (no doubt with a college level education) would throw away a Priority package? Do not the school have some type of roster with students name and location? When I called the school I totally got the 'run-around' from everyone - from building to building I was bounced. I'm just too upset right now; no one was held accountable and there is nothing to be done about it. I did contact the United States Postal Inspectors because I believe it was stolen. So I will keep my fingers crossed.
Xx Xx: I only went to pick up a student and I didn't go inside
Mandy England: Very friendly atmosphere.Students are very welcoming and are very helpful
Roove: Great place if it's your first or second year. Older students tend to transfer to Riverfront.
Carlos Da Silveira: nice place for study

Riverfront Center Residence Hall: what do users think?
Jasmine Rul: Some of the staff is nice, others can't be bothered to help you. I enjoy the layout of the buildings and the rooms are okay. Waaaay to expensive for what you are getting. The elevators stop working a lot so be sure to leave earlier than planned. Although some think needing to swipe your Mcard at the front door, the entrance to the elevators, and in the elevators is extreme, I think it's comforting to know there is added security.
Bbox: Lived here while attending UM-Flint, had zero issues moving in and the room was exactly what I was looking for. The only gripe I had was that our dorm fridge did not work, but within a couple days we were given a new one free of charge.
Lilefoot: This place sucks in every way. It is like a prison and ridiculous overpriced. Almost everything is out of order and the staff just a big joke. It is a ripp off and I can highly recommend not to stay there !!! Even one star is way more than this place deserves!!!
Matt Portice: I lived here while attending college. My apartment/dorm was really nice. Access to the parking ramp was very convenient. The front counter staff was friendly and helpful. On-location laundry was very nice.
Amy Tottingham: dirty place to live

Campus Village Apartments: what do users think?
Peter Nachbar: Overly expensive, bad service
Sai Rithvick: Good facilities
Darrell: Great location and secure
Morgan Hensel: The apartment manager often forgets she has a job, doesn't return phone calls and maintenance often is refused to ever get done. do not live here unless you enjoy fixing appliances. I would leave a zero star review if possible, the absolute defintion of overpriced. also all security goes out the door when you realize the main gate doesn't close and the car gates short circuit every time it rains, allowing pretty much anyone in whenever they want. I can not wait to leave this place for good
Ajay Adityan: A safe place to stay for students. But quite expensive.
Suleman Asghar: The closet apartments to kettering University. That is the only good thing about it. Customer service is slow and it seems only two people are running the whole apartments which is insufficient. For what they charge it seems unreasonable. Most of the apartments need renovation and maintenance which they don't do at all. It is cheaper than dorms so can save some money.
Ridhan Riyal: Won't get your deposit back for 6+ months until you threaten to call the corporate office and complain ! Also be aware that the manager stalks you on Facebook before you move in. She’s done it right in front of me and my friends and laughed at people coming in from overseas!
Andy: Not bad apartments, reasonably priced and very well maintained, the maintenance guy is excellent. If you go to Kettering and are looking for affordable housing right next door, this is it.
A 1: There's room for improvement, but it was a fun time
Nun Ya: Beat alternative to the dorms. Chill environment.
yi lyu: Good,much off
Tre Wright: lots of updates and changes with how things are bring done and the new RA's are pretty helpful. Safe and gated with security-
Kelli Hamill: Excellent ! I love it here 😊😊😊
Mckensie Winn: Campus Village might claim that they're running renovations every couple years, but they're extremely slow to get them done, and many things are broken in every apartment I've visited. A lot of repairs done aren't done right; duct tape type stuff you could do yourself with less of a hassle. They act like a week and a half is a short time to wait for something to be repaired, and often repairs stretch to four weeks. Some apartments have ants, some have had serious fruit fly infestations. The best way to get them to tell you how your repairs are going seems to be publicly whining on the Facebook page. They don't communicate about your specific stuff much otherwise. The one thing campus village does alright is security, they don't have car break-ins like you might experience off campus. But to maintain this security, it's fairly inconvenient to get in and out of the complex (only one walking entrance at night now).Overall, it's cheaper than the dorms by a little, and you can save a lot by cooking your own food (if you're lucky enough to have your stove, fridge, and sink/dishwasher function all term). Significantly more expensive than most Flint rental homes, but also more secure.
Vince Paul: TERRIBLE ! When paying the deposit, Julie says cash is preferred. Once you pay, you don't get it back most of the time, especially if you are an exchange or international student. I know several exchange/international students who have not got their deposit back, she deducts for ridiculous reasons. Since we have to leave the country, we have no way of getting it back, i'm sure it goes into her pocket. Also, when you apply for accommodation, she stalks you on Facebook
Adam Ries: If you are lucky and get a renovated apartemet, you will be fine. However, some apartments are really noise, having a loud refrigerator and AC. If you can, try to find an appartment off campus. July and Tim try to do their best.
Jeramy Evely: Poor customer service. Poor communication. Poor quality apartments. Poor experience overallWay over priced.
Ryan Todd: CV is currently in the process of renovating their apartments a few at a time, which is finally addressing most of the quality concerns that have been raised in previous reviews. If you can get a renovated apartment, then it's hands-down nicer than the dorms; if not, then you might consider looking elsewhere. The office staff, I will agree, are terrible slackers; their office hours are dreadfully short, and they don't follow those hours very consistently. When you do manage to get a hold of them, however, they are surprisingly helpful and understanding; so, not *too* many points lost there. Additionally, the maintenance guy responds to requests as promptly as could be expected (consistently within 24 hours, in my experience). The security is more for deterrence than anything else, although I hesitate to point out any specific flaws online. On the plus side, though, their track record is excellent, and the police outpost next door probably helps; to the best of my knowledge, CV has never had any break-ins or stolen cars (unlike a lot of the rental houses in the area). All in all, for a price directly comparable to that of living in the dorms, it's a solid choice. If you don't want to join a fraternity or sorority, risk living in a rental house, or have to drive to/from Riverfront or some other distant place, then CV is definitely worth considering.
Doreen Bunt: This company has horrible customer service. The office is never open and Julie fails to return phone calls. Ashley at the corporate office is rude. The apartments are in disrepair with water leaking everywhere. Go stay in the dorms.
