Jules Jules: Went there for a meeting with owner about signing up my daughter the day and time he told me to come back I went up there was early and I sat there with my daughter waiting on him to finish what he was doing at the desk. About 30 minutes after my meeting was scheduled I approached the desk and asked him how long it would be and he snapped at me saying he would not tell me to come there on that day and time and was very rude and arrogant. He kind of scared me. Will never return

He struggles with positivity, confidence, concentration, kindness, controlling emotions, I can go on. However, as I bring him consistently to his classes, he is learning those skills to help him succeed in not only performing in his class well, but I’m seeing a difference in the way he approaches school, his relationships and every day life. He then joined in September of 2021 and LOVES it. He enjoys learning the craft, language and being apart of the school. He was even Student of the Month in December. I enjoy watching him learn all the techniques and I greatly appreciate how everyone at Double Dragon loves on Dillon and has treated us both like part of the family! Endia Crowder: Double Dragon TSD is more than a karate school, it’s a family. When I joined Double Dragon, I immediately felt accepted and welcomed, while doing something that I love. Even though I joined in adulthood, it felt good to be a part of a wonderful group of martial arts students! Since starting martial arts, I’ve noticed a difference in my physical health, mental health and emotional health. I've also seen a huge improvement in my hand foot coordination as well. This is a great school for anyone at any age to begin their martial arts journey! I recommend Double Dragon to anyone who is interested in starting their martial arts journey!

Jillian Gonzales: I can’t say enough good things about this place. My 5 year old is in their little ninja class and loves it. All of the coaches are phenomenal with the kids. As a parent I like that they put a strong emphasis on common sense before self defense and on building confidence and self esteem. It’s also a bonus that it’s very physical activity that gets the wiggles out. They also hold special events for the kids like tonight was superhero night. They had pizza and the kids played dodgeball against the coaches. It’s all around just a very positive environment for the kids. I highly recommend this place.

Douglas Miles: Obviously from reading all the parental reviews, Cosens has a great children's program. You might overlook their adult classes however. It's an inclusive environment, new students are welcomed throughout the year. You just jump in and pick up as you go. It doesn't take long before thing start to click. The adult classes are 45 minutes long, twice a week. You begin with a warm-up, some conditioning and then get into Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. There are some nights that I feel sore and tired before I even show up, but I never regret the decision to go through with it. The Jiu-Jitsu is challenging to learn but the coaches break it down and you practice step by step until you can put it all together. It doesn't matter what your age, size or gender is. I'm 50 years old and slow as molasses but it doesn't stop me from trying! When you're ready for the next level, you can enroll in the black belt class which follows the adult class (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) in the evening. It's not specifically for black belts, just for students who want to practice what they've learned in a competitive setting. There's no pressure to do it, it's not for everyone. However, it really helps you put together and retain what you learn in the adult class. I've been going to the adult classes for 8 months as of this review, and I just finished my second week of black belt training. It is not easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is. If you're looking for some adult fitness with a challenge, Cosens MMA is your place. I would be doing them a disservice if I didn't mention the coaches. Cosens coaches are great people; extremely helpful, motivating and kind. That type of person doesn't walk in off the street and get a job. Just like Cosens builds you as a student, they build coaches with a thorough and demanding system. The coaches are the glue that will keep you from falling apart when you feel like you're about to break. They are truly authentic and caring people!

Sara Perry: Was made to feel like we couldn't afford their class, like we didn't belong with their clientele. I was brushed off when asking for the paperwork to sign up, one week I was told that Monday would be a good class to join cause it was small,then that following Monday all of the sudden he has to count heads to see if they would be able to put him on a waiting list and they would call that Monday after they were done testing, now that's after watching a lady who was there right along with us turning her paperwork in , needless to to say we never got the call....
