Kathy Maunder: My husband ordered a medium heat dish in the past, which was a wee bit hot for me. On our second try with them, I ordered a mild plus panang curry. It was hotter than the medium dish he ordered. My lips and mouth burned after each bite. My husband tried mine and he was shocked at how much hotter it was than his medium spice meal. Other than the heat, the flavor was good. I wish they could be consistent with the spice level.

Flory Fam: Very good Thai overall. Pad Thai is super good! But they are definitely on the spicy end of the spectrum. Medium was really hot and a friend got mild and she said it was still quite hot. They should rename and/or back down on what they call mild. But as long as you know that going in you’ll be fine. It is really good!

When called at first they said they would give a full refund and that they was sorry! I won’t eat there anymore until I can eat off a plate with a metal fork again and drink out of a glass.

The back of the kitchen was immaculate. You'd be surprised at how most restaurants back kitchen look.. That's what prompted me to go. Such a friendly owner and staff!! Good pricing and large portions too. Oh and it was ready in under 15 minutes!

When I order this dish I assume there will be green pepper or broccoli and pea pods or eggplant. Thai basil maybe. It was chicken, bamboo, and water chestnuts. Tasty but could have been better. Brother said the pad Thai noodles were overcooked. Fried dumplings appeared to be Goya or some other random brand of frozen dumpling. Not made by them. If they were I guess I'm the fool.There is seating but it's not a dining out kind of place. It's chairs and tables. No laminated menus, silverware, or ceramic dishes. It felt like eating at the mall. No service, no frills, Styrofoam and plastic sitting at a table after I was called to the counter to pick up my order. The folks were nice enough but just know it's currently not a date night place.It's not really in my neighborhood. If I wanted take out Thai to go to a friend's house near there, I would order from there again. Unless my local friend instructed me to go elsewhere.

I would of drive off and not even ordered but the wife wanted to eat YaYa's. Bad customer service, especially when they weren't even busy. To prevent a future problem she may cause, it may be in YaYa's best interest to fire her so she can work a job where she doesn't get upset doing what she was hired to do. I bet everyone that orders tonight is going to drive away wanted to give her a piece of their mind. That is all.

Twitching Dead Girl: YaYa's is the #1 spot for the BEST flame broiled chicken you'll ever have in your LIFE!I grew up near a YaYa's in Pontiac as a kid and I have the fondest memories of their chicken being the only kind I would eat. Everytime I visit Michigan I make sure to go by one of their restaurants to get a plate worth every penny & damn well worth the drive.I lived in flint for a while, and sadly this spot doesn't seem to be as well kept as some of the others.Was heartbroken when the original owners passed because you can tell the ingredients are the same, but definitely lacking in their quality (at least this location.)

Brooke Anne: I have never had such awful service and food in my life and at a yayas at that. Highly disappointed. Wouldn't refund my salad that had 3 bites taken out of it before I realized it was infact that bad, because they said half of it was gone when in reality they sold me basically a side salad for $14. Lesson learned I guess. Never again.
