Jessica Wilson: Additional review/edit: They just took another tree down for me, ahead of schedule even. Once again there was NOTHING left--not a stray leaf, branch, nothing. They even took extra branches that I had piled up near my garage (on their own accord--I wasn't even home when they were there)--such a nice, unexpected touch! Also, their prices are reasonable. I'm grateful for their service and the pride they take in their work.They have done work for me twice now and both times they were reasonable, prompt, careful, and effective. They’ve done everything from trimming my trees beautifully, making them more attractive and healthy, to completely removing an enormously tall tree and resulting stump. Chelsea Fuller: I called over the summer to get a couple trees removed from my Moms property. They were awesome about talking to me and coordinating with her to get everything done. They set up a visit for a quote right away, and I found it very reasonable.They took a long time to come out and get the job done, but they made us aware of the backlog right from the get-go, which was fine.When they were finally scheduled to get the trees out, they called both of us and let us know. Jim Wood: This company take no care to your property when cutting down your trees . They dropped huge limbs on my bushs and chain link fence they said they would fix the fence but they never did even after calling them two or three times. I wouldn't recommend to no one.
Bryan Jones: Earlier this year, I had two 60-70 foot trees cut down in my small fenced back yard. Mike (the owner) came out and gave me an estimate that beat all the others I had by far. There were a couple of delays due to weather, but the office kept me updated. When the day came, they showed up with a good sized crew and quickly and safely took down both trees, one of which grew within 5 feet of my shed. All the limbs came down in a controlled fashion. Not so much as a small branch touched my shed, fence, or house. The guys they left for cleanup raked up every stick in the back yard plus the side and front yard where they had carried the branches to the chipper in the street. They even swept up and took away the few chips that fell into the street plus a bunch of pine needles that had fallen from the neighbors tree and washed up by my curb previously. The job was completed in about 3 hours. I would recommend these guys to anyone needing tree service of any kind.

Terry McKinch: The first time we used him, he was great. He did a great job and was very quick. Now he doesn't return my phone calls. If you don't have time to do the work, that is fine, but at least call the customer and say you can't do the work. Customer service should come first.
Ms. S. O'dell: Contacted this company to remove a tree at my home. The guy showed up and had a great price, was very personable and before he left, he was called to tell him to get started as immediately as possible. He said it would be a couple of days as he was finishing up a job. That would have placed him starting on the following Tuesday, which came and went with NO CALL AND NO SHOW. No responses to phone calls, so a text was sent and he said that weather slowed him down 2 days ago, but he would start the next day in the morning. Perfect. Except he didn't show up then either. In fact, he never showed. If I'm going to pay you over $1,000 to take down a tree (and have city permission to remove the tree BTW) you had better show up on time. Sent another text that clarified my position: If you do not respond with a firm start date that is within this week, the agreement is cancelled. If you do not respond, the agreement is cancelled and you are not to begin any work at this address as you will not be compensated for it based on your material breach of contract. Still no response. Someone else posted that this guy appeared to be a drunkard - smelled of alcohol. Well, that seems likely because an alcoholic will absolutely take a job and not take another one until the money for booze runs out. Sad. And if you want to threaten me with litigation, Eddie - by all means send your court-filed documentation to 810legalmatters@gmail.com. I'll be waiting.

Carrie Hopp: I had a large oak tree that was right between my house and detached garage. It had received some damage in the recent ice and snow storms, and it was time for it to come down. There was very little clearance between the tree and the roofs, along with having several skylights to keep clear of. Holtslander and Sons not only was prompt and competitive in their response and pricing, they quickly removed the tree like it was no big deal. Fortunately, none of our trees were knocked down, but we had a stack of brush and branches down by the road. While waiting for his other crew members, one of the crew said he could pick up and shred that stack because he said, “We gotta help each other out.”What a guy; what a business! I won’t hesitate to call Holtslander next time I need some help.

I called for a service during a peak-season following a bad storm in the area with many people needing tree removal services. The gentlemen on the phone answered, and politely said they had no availability in the coming weeks due to the bad storm. However, he went above and beyond and immediately offered another contact that might be able to help. This was losing business on his end to help out a fellow contractor, and in the end the customer (me) was able to secure service from the contact that was offered.I just wanted to say it was a great experience and I plan to try and use them again in the future when I need tree servicing again.Thank you!

I have a mega tree that other companies (even local) quoted obviously insane prices because they didn't want the job.This tree has no landing zone, is probably like 100 ft high and a massive cottonwood pain for all my neighbors. Jennifer Burnett: I had an emergency tree call and they fit me in quickly. The tree was huge (80+ years old) but had split down middle and showed signs of rot so it could not be saved. Callie Hodgin: During the huge wind storm, we had a fairly large tree crack in three places down the entire trunk. It hovers over our pole barn and our neighbors. Now our neighbor is a tree guy. We had him come out and he strapped it to help stabilize it and to hopefully prevent it from falling. We asked him if he could take it down and he said it was beyond his capability. We called two places, Thirsty Tree was on it. Same day service for our quote (most impressive) the other guy ghosted us. However, thirsty trees team had the tree safely down and laid it exactly where we asked them to in about 3 hours. Brady Totten: From the estimate to job completion, I can not say enough positives, No complaints about price, quality of the work, or safety and professionalism. I had two big (40+ foot) spruce trees taken down, which required a ton of clean up, and by the time they were done, all that was left was a small pile of mulch where where each of the trees used to be. Ground the stumps, did all the clean up. Would definitely recommend to others.
