Norman Shoultes: BEWARE: Do not do business with this company they are a joke! Do not work for this company because if you quit they will not pay you. I was employed there for 6 months and for 2 months I asked for my medical card or policy number that I had been paying for so I could get my Epi pens because I am allergic to bees. On top of that I was promised a pay raise after 90 days at 6 months I was told if I could make more go for it. That same day I get a add forwarded to me for my position. That’s fine I resigned and when pay day came I had a 20 hr check for 2 weeks and told me to go to the labor board! Oh and on that final check they took out medical in which I can’t use because I could never get the information. SMH

Ken Gobart: Never ever work with Michigan Timber, cancled an order due to medical reasons that prevented me from completing the job. Three weeks to get a refund check, with a fee taken from my deposit, then the funds were not in their PNC account. Complete Hassel all the way around.

Jeff Lange: I sent in a deposit to get the design of the work I needed performed started. The day after they got the deposit, I told them not to do any work on the design, because things were not settled on how it was going to be built. They said no work had been done. Long story short, I did not need any trusses and asked for a refund on my deposit. I was expecting a $25 processing fee. Instead, they kept 30% of the deposit and said it was because they had done some design work. After I asked to see the design, they then changed their story and said it was a standard fee they took on canceled deposits. The sales person that I dealt with was very professional and always returned my calls. Keith Bloom (manager) refused to return my calls nor would anybody provide me his e-mail address to contact him. This was a very disappointing experience.

G: Went in for interview was there ten min early told them I was here and 5 min later was told they would be with me shortly 40 min later was told person I was sapose to interview with was in a meeting super unprofessional my time is just as important as yours so that should tell how they treat there employees definitely don't want to work for a company this unorganized and unprofessional horrible

Chuck: You know when you read this on their website "Michigan’s Most Dependable Truss Company". As a Michigan resident, you think wow do I want to do business with these guys! Quickly filled out the quote info and waited about 2 weeks for a phone call. Nothing, zip, Not-ta! So I called them up and they were super nice on the phone and hooked me up with the agent handling my quote, which made me think they could figure a way to do anything and the agent told me they were super competitive! Sent them the plans, 3d pictures, each individual floor view, and even wrote up a description of what I wanted everything to be!Well they told me they would contact me if there was any questions they had, so 2-3 weeks go by and a quote appeared in my email. Well I looked it over and it somewhat resembled the quote I wanted, but not really! So called the agent up to talk to him again and right from the get go he knew it wasn't the quote I wanted and said he figured it would be a good starting point to get us in the ball park! So I was like, OK! Then in the same breathe he also told me the price wouldn't change much anyways.Theres roughly 400 trusses required for this 2 story house doing it 24" on center and if done 16" on center there is 600. Huge, Huge difference in price!!!!! Then all the roofs were done out of regular trusses and not done out of engineered wood trusses as written down. His reply was it was cheaper to do it as regular trusses. So I told him well give me a price for the other way as well! He said ok not a problem, and since then no reply back for about a month and a half! So I called him up and it started turning into excuse after excuse! We have been really busy, call you back tomorrow, in a meeting call you back in a bit! I think they just couldn't figure out how to actually build a engineered roof!Now heres the kicker, I always break down prices into a Linear foot prices and compare the load ratings. I had Menards engineer a web truss custom quoted and the price was huge difference. Michigan T&T had a under engineered product that could only do 16" OC for 10 cents more per lineal foot price, then Menards engineered the right way. And that is not including if I were to buy all the trusses on Menards 11% off sale day!I wish I could say what the end quote was from T&T, but they havent been willing to give me it! I will give them one more phone call and then I move onto the next truss company, I guess! So I havent received a quote for about 3 months now! Cant say they have reliability & dependability going on for me! Chit cant even get a quote done right by them, so they deserve the 1 star rating im giving them! I think if you have a small project this company would be suitable, but if you have a large one, then you may want to just try another one!
