Madalyn Norris: The doctors ignore patient requests, have continued treatments that are not working against the patients request. And Sandy? One of the meanest, unhappiest people you will ever meet. If she hates her job so much she should just quit and save everyone an eye sore.

Daiquone Harris: I've been visiting Doctor Karlene ever since I was about eight or nine(I'm 28 now). He is by far one of the best doctors I have ever been fortunate enough to encounter. He stays up to date on all the latest new occurrence's in his field. He also makes it feel more like you are visiting a friend rather than your typical doctor visit. As someone who has Lamellar Ichthyosis(a rare skin condition) often times when visiting other doctors the observation of the patience's condition may sometimes be put above the level of comfort of the patience.Meaning, that I've sometimes felt like the main attraction in a circus. This feeling has never occurred during my visits with Doctor Karlene. He has cultivated an atmosphere in his offices that put the comfort of the patience first in all situations. While making powerful strides to get your skin in the best possible condition it can be in. Building those great relationships with patients is something he and his entire team does profoundly well. It makes you want to come back again and again because you know you can put your trust in them and know they are doing all they can to help you. You are not simply a number to them.Ann-Marie is my nurse there in the office and I know she is always in my corner when I need her(and if you want me to be really forthright she's pretty badass herself!). So on that note if you are tired of bouncing from doctor to doctor due to lack of results, a new parent with a child who has a skin condition, or acne prone. Then Doctor Karlene and his team is the office for you. Think of them as The Avengers of skin care, awesome at what they do without the emotional baggage lol.

sarah hinton: Idk about office space, but as far as calling in, they are most excellent
Michael Adrian: An attempt to seek reimbursement for out-of-network expenses has been nothing short of a nightmare with this health plan. The customer service is ... non-existent. I will certainly be changing insurance during the next open enrollment.
Stefanie Stockwell: My son had surgery, McLaren was his secondary insurance, they mistakenly (admittedly) rejected the claim and have left my son, a grad student with over $2000 in medical bills. They blamed this on my son and myself for not looking at the explanation of benefits and said it is too late for a grievance or appeal. The bill was sent to our home almost a year after the surgery. So basically they told me I had to check their work, what an awful answer. And their rates went up. I switched carriers. Will not go back.

Brianna Barbee: I’ve had MHP for a few years now and I’ve been fine with it. Recently they just stopped covering a brand of inhalers and I called the pharmacy help desk to get information on which type of inhaler they do accept and the guy was very rude, impatient and overall disrespectful. If it helps to find who I spoke with I called Friday October 28th 2022 at exactly 3:14pm the call lasted for 7 minutes before I hung up on him for being rude.
ashley baesl: As a case manager of a mental health agency whom has called MHP several times while assisting my Consumers I must say that their customer service operation has got to be the worst of its kind. For example: I call to schedule transportion and told by one staff member my client is not in their system. Call back, talk to someone else and they say they cant find her. Call back again, they hang up immediately. Forth time is the charm and a nice lady answered, found my client and scheduled her transportation! Then today they tell me I have to call Medicaid about what I am inquiring about. Medicaid says "no, you need to call your health plan." On top of all of that I have another client that says she has been using MHP transportation for several months and now all the sudden they wont honor her current address because it doesnt match the one on file. This was taken care of MONTHS ago. Absolutely dispictable health plan and I advise anyone looking to switch to NOT use this plan unless you want hang ups, RUDE customer service, misinformation, and services needed not being met

Sydney C.: Working for a medical office, I have to call here when I need to follow up on auths/billing for patients. Hold times are long, and when someone finally answers, it seems like they just pick up the phone and let it sit there. You can say "hello?" over and over, but no one will respond to you. You can hear them shuffling papers and typing on the keyboard but they will not talk to you. Super frustrating and ends up wasting time.

disinfoganda watch: These people are depriving me of a daily medication. Just because the doctor increased the dosage of my medication, they denied me access to my daily life saving medication. They do not care whether people live or die, just as long as they can exercise power amongst the people they insure. I've had to go to the streets to find my medication because these people have denied me access to a medication I've been taking for the past 5 years.
Danielle Gulyas: By far the worst insurance. It doesn’t matter if you have out of network referrals or prior authorizations in place, they do not pay your claims accordingly. When you call they tell you it will take up to 45 days to reprocess. You can never get a supervisor on the phone. There are no specialty providers in the area let alone PCPs Horrible customer service!

JOHN DOE: The people who answer the phone for transportation are so unorganized. They get so many things wrong with my rides. The only person who knows what they are doing is a guy who answers the phone. I cant remember his name but every time I call I am praying I get him.
Tiffany Ammons: Trying to get transportation is nearly impossible. On hold for an hour. Company showed an hour after my appointment told customer service I didn’t answer the phone, caught them in my parking lot trying to do a drive by. I was told I would never have them only to be scheduled with them twice and the next time they took a picture of my door and said I didn’t answer even though my door was open and I had been calling Mclaren because the company didn’t call me. They told me they canceled my ride. I wish I could give negative stars because this is the worst insurance.
Ashton Lee: I made an appointment with a new doctor late on Friday night. The appointment is early Monday morning. Im basically screwed in the sense that I have NO idea if this appt will be covered.. I thought I would be able to hop online or call the "24 hour #" on the insurance card, but their website says to call the phone number.. which has a recording that states that buiseness hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm..

My pharmacy can't fill my prescriptions because they are out of network. This insurance company is worthless and fraudulent!
