TALK ABOUT RUDE!I have been a customer for years...(even though the prices are higher than anywhere else) --- and to the 3 black guys making a circle by the door from inside the store? What was that? a scare tactic? CAUSE IT DIDN'T WORK! grow up! I had $300 in my pocket - did you care? Thanks to the CHINESE LADY...I left and FOR GOOD AND DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING! If you have a serious theft problem in this store, hire a security guard like all the other local wig stores around you do!

Bree K: I don't normally write reviews, but this was the best beauty supply store experience I've had in Flint. I'm pretty green when it comes to braiding so I've been searching for a hair shop I enjoy spending time at. I've only been to a few so far, but I believe my search has ended. The shop was bigger than I'd expected, had plenty of stuff in stock; and despite that, it was all clean, tidy, sufficiently lit and neatly organized. That and the welcoming atmosphere are massive positives in my book. The employees were incredibly helpful, one of them helped me find my new favorite detangler/curl definer for synthetic hair. Even the other customers were super friendly. Definitely going to be stopping in after future Target runs.I also got lots of compliments on my hair, which felt good cause I had done it myself, experimented a bit with the color, and to top it all off I'd gone swimming the day before so it was not in the best shape 😅 hence the reason for my visit.A couple points of improvement, however: first, some products had security tags taped over the ingredient list, and for me that's a deal breaker when buying certain products. Though, it did prevent an impulse buy so maybe that was a blessing in disguise. Second, there were things hung up high with no hook or anything in sight to reach them. I should have asked for help, the ladies behind the counter seemed like they would have been happy to do so, but alas, I was too shy to ask and just picked something out that was within reach.

Kiandra Arnold: I was racially profiled and treated like a thief on 9/7/22 by the tall Asian lady at the front counter . I am NOT a thief and I don’t like being watched like I am going to steal. I will take my business elsewhere . I am not sure if that lady was the owner or not , she is always there but here is some advice , “ you should not judge someone based on their race “. In 1991 an innocent Black girl name Latasha Harlins was killed at a convenience store in Los Angeles when she was judged and falsely accused of stealing an orange juice by the Korean- American store owner Soon Ja Du.
