Ostiva Pouilte: I’ve been here twice, both for friend’s birthday’s! The shrimp & grits are amazing! If you like lamb chops I highly recommend theirs. The spinach & artichoke dip are good also. Cameo Wallace: Beautiful place especially the bathroom. The cork burger is the best and if you don't like blue cheese 🧀 you can always substitute. One of the owners came to the table and introduced herself which was something I have never experienced before. They are AMAZING 😍. I would love for them to bring back the popcorn with candy bacon, peanuts and chocolate that they once had in the past

Granted, we probably should have gotten the charcuterie for which this place is apparently known, but it just wasn't what we felt like that day. There was also very little information about what it contained or the options that appeared on the menu. We had never been in and weren't familiar with the menu or their foods or specialties, and there was no feeling of welcome, and honestly, we kind of felt like we were in the way. There were only about 3 or 4 people who appeared to be regulars at the bar. We had a few beers and shared some fried clams, wings, and fries. Ok, but not especially hot or crispy. Maybe it's just not our place.

Elaine Verus: My family was here visiting from Florida. So I thought It would be nice to take them somewhere we all had had never been. But it was so disappointing. They were not even busy. But it took almost an hour to get our food. Then it came out a little bit at a time. We couldn't even eat together. The food wasn't even very good. Definitely won't be back.

Michele Schultz: Heard good things about this place. Being St Patrick's Day they promoted an Irish menu. Got there about 4pm. Still at 4:45 no one had acknowleged our table. There were maybe 30 total patrons and about 4 waitresses. A simple hello, we'll be with you shortly would have been nice. We left and went next door to Valley where we were greater and seated immediately and Orders were promptly taken. Will think twice before traveling from Davison to visit Barley and Vine again.

Jaquelin Cooper: Sat here for over 20 minutes, no one said a word to us. Not a hello, not a would you like a menu, not a word. People were literally leaving their tables to walk up to the bar to order, well I’m not doing that, sorry. Maybe you could try getting a waitress or waiter? Literally didn’t see anyone taking care of any tables. Overheard a guy walking up to the bar say the exact same thing. Won’t be back.

Jeff Stancroff: Barley & Vine is a fun local spot! The always seem to have something going on whether it be trivia, bingo or live music. They have a great selection of wines and beer to keep the night rolling as well as a nice menu full of interesting options. Important to note that the menu is scaled back when they have activities but there are still plenty of great options! Stop in and give them a try.

C: Went for lunch today. I got their take on PB&J press sandwich and the broccoli cheese soup, it was delicious! We will diffently go back, cute place with games and they have different event nights. Large selection of wine, beer, and speciality cocktails. I tried the wine sampler and it came with perfect paired cheese.

Vanilla Bean: We have literally been sitting here waiting for our food, including our appetizers, for almost a hour. Then when we inquired about our food, she came to our table yelling at us and that wasn’t cool. People looking at us while the waitress was yelling at us too. She claim she was waitressing more tables than everyone else was. But the women sitting next to us had a good waitress. It was a ton of people who came in after us, got their food and left the restaurant.We got tired of waiting and went to the bar to pay for our lemonades. We explain to the bartender that we never received our food not even our appetizers and she replied, Oh well, you should’ve came to tell me maybe I could have done something about it . Now, what could a bartender do about a waitress not bringing our food to our table???Just disappointing our waitress never came back to say oh do you guys need a refill to update us on the status are of our appetizers or our food so we just decided we weren’t going wait for our food any longer because there’s no possible way that other people are walking in after us and leaving and we’re still sitting here waiting for our food.My sister ordered soup. How long does it take for a chef to cook soup?? Sarah Klammer: Great little bar with a big patio on top of the flint farmers market! Mid to late 20s crowd when we were there on a Friday night. People ordered pizza to the bar, since they don't have a kitchen. Very low key and chill.Rachel the bartender is super sweet and chill. Definitely the kind of place you could go on your own or with a date or group for a chill night or wind down (or up) for a night out.

Steady Eddies provided food, normally no food is available though you can always have food from any of the other vendors at the Farmers Market. "Stevenson" is the best drink I had, off menu. Beautiful view of downtown, MSU and UMF campus.
