Mark George: Scott is very professional and is dedicated to helping his patients. At the beginning of every appointment, Scott always asks how you are doing. He strives to make every treatment have a positive affect on one’s health and issues. The office is very clean and Scott uses Covid precautions. He has helped me greatly and I would recommend him to anybody seeking a qualified acupuncturist.
Darby Boon: If you've been nervous to try acupuncture, look no further! I have several chronic conditions including IBS and Spina Bifida that have been a huge battle nearly my entire life. I have seen multiple specialists over the last 15 years and spent thousands of dollars seeking answers that are never given, until I finally decided to seek alternative methods. The management of my chronic conditions has become infinitely better with regular acupuncture treatment and the herbal supplements recommended to me by Scott. He does a wonderful job of making you feel comfortable and at ease, offering detailed explanations to every step of the process. Health is a journey, and there will never be a quick fix for most conditions, but I can whole heartedly say that acupuncture has offered me reprieve from constant pain, helped me sleep better, aided in smoother digestion, and lessened my stress levels. If you feel western medicine has failed you and you're looking for something that addresses your body as a unit instead of a set of localized symptoms, then acupuncture and Chinese Medicine might be for you!
Jill Newsome: Scott is so knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He has been the only person In 10 years that has helped to start healing my digestion. I have been to nutritionist and doctors and have never had as much success I’m having as the 6 weeks I have been seeing Scott. He is working on another prominent issue I have and am feeling hopeful with the protocol he has put in place. Every session he tweeks his acupuncture to what I am needing for the week. He is also an herbalist and is highly knowledgeable in a regimen that will help. Give him a try you won’t be disappointed!

Scott was very professional, and explained in detail what coarse of action would best take care of my pain in both of my shoulders. I have received acupuncture before at a different facility for jaw pain a few years back. I was pleasantly surprised how much more professional and detailed Scott was before giving me treatments and during. He was very kind and always had my best interest. I will use Scott in the future if needed. As of now, my shoulder pain has reduced so much I just don't feel I need treatment right now. Yay!
Sharon Burtrum: I feel compelled to write this review in the event that it is off help to others. I had been having massages at Medical Mile Massage with Gaiane and love her and the space! While there I became interested in their other services; specifically acupuncture. I wanted to learn if acupuncture could help me with general inflammation, fluctuating energy levels and autoimmune issues. Through out the summer and fall I regularly went to see Scott Schauland. I found him to be extremely attentive and holistically interested in my issues. With acupuncture and a few Chinese herbal formulas I have felt a steady improvement in my overall health. My energy levels are constant, I have much less general inflammation and the autoimmune symptoms are improving. I plan to continue this alternative treatment in conjunction with my 'Western Medicine' doctors' advice. It is a win‐win for everyone!
Sandy Rademaker: I have wanted to try acupuncture for quite some time because I have heard good things about it. I am so glad that I took the plunge when Ginko Leaf opened. I am 74 years old and have suffered from back pain for years, and more recently, arthritis in my knee has really set me back. I got relief after my first treatment and after a couple more sessions with Scott my level of pain has deceased significantly. I am able to walk further than I have been able to for a long time. Scott does not pressure you to do more than you can afford. He wants you to be well and try’s to keep it within your budget. I highly recommend seeing if you can resolve some of your issues by scheduling an appointment.

April Moayyer: I am repeatedly impressed with Stephen's intuition. I woke up the morning of my acupuncture appointment with a scratchy throat which went away after 30 minutes or so. When I saw Stephen later that afternoon, he took my pulse and told me he felt something going on in my throat. It's a very soothing environment and he's very thorough and thoughtful, taking the time to research any ailments I bring up. His services are very affordable!
Carly Whetstone: I felt better after just 1-2 sessions and continue to feel better. I appreciate Stephen for his calm presence as he walked me through what he was doing. He is not one to try to sell you on anything, instead he cares much more about helping his clients heal. I wish my primary doctor was as good at listening and helping! Christina Tepper: I was experiencing withdrawal symptoms from my antidepressant. I felt like I had the flu (dizzy, nausea, off-balance, weak, temperature changes) I needed help from family to take care of me and my kids. I couldn't drive or be on my feet for too long. When going through withdrawal these symptoms can last up to 6wks. After about a week I was willing to try anything.During my visit Stephen made me feel like he was listening, I felt welcome, and safe. Stephen is personable and easy to speak to. Not only was my experience pleasant the next day I felt better. I wasn't 100% but I felt good enough to function and that was more than I could ask for. I was going through a terrible time and Stephen helped me get through it without breaking the bank. I purchased a package and went through it within a week. I definitely will be back and would recommend trying this as an alternative to modern medicine. I'm not against modern medicine but I have had some bad experiences.

Sandy: Stephen has helped me so much. I had a lot going on and he has addressed each one in a professional manner. He is super nice guy who cares about his patients . I now have two other of my friends going to him and he has been a great help for them too. If you have pain that traditional medicine has not helped. Don’t hesitate to see him . Delores Johnson: The rude receptionist Erica makes you not want to be treated in this facility. I called to schedule an appointment and her attitude was as if she didn't feel like being bothered. She has a dismissive attitude making me feel uncomfortable about receiving services from the institution. Wrong person I was never late. I'm just one person who doesn't have a family to bring in with me. Her attitude is what made me decide to go elsewhere.
Tim O'Rourke: I had knee surgery and had drop foot as a result. No movement on the drop foot for 4 months using PT and other remedies given to me to try. I went to WM Acupuncture and within 2 visits my toes started moving, and after 6 visits within a month, my foot has started its recovery of the nerves. I am walking normal and expect full recovery. They will let you know if they can help.

Brooke VanDyke: I have been getting acupuncture here for the last 2 years on and off. I travel for 3 months every winter so go elsewhere then, and Stephen is still my favorite. He is very caring and is very understanding about my needle anxiety. I love the chairs and music as well.I have been getting acupuncture for tmj for the last two years monthly after the initial weekly treatments for 10 weeks. I continued going because it is a continuous problem for me since I clench my teeth at night. Acupuncture has helped to prevent me from having any pain because it reduces my clenching considerably. I highly recommend acupuncture even as a preventative. I had an episode of trigeminal neuralgia 2 years ago that I can vouch for as up there with kidney stones for being the most pain lne can experience. I am SO grateful to Stephen for helping me prevent that from happening again for the last two years!

Eric Wermuth: After suffering from chronic abdominal pain for almost 4 years - treatment consisted of 2 MRIs, 5 CT scans, 2 colonoscopies, an upper endoscopy, multiple trips to the Ferguson Clinic, the gastroenterologist, countless trips to the emergency room (where people started to learn my name), treatment through the Center for Integrative Medicine, and many, many pharmaceuticals - I knew it was time to explore another option. I had heard about Steve from one of the Physician Assistants and figured that I would try anything. In three weeks, he has taken my pain level from an average of a 6 (out of ten) down to a 2. He has also treated my restless leg syndrome, anxiety and insomnia. I am feeling like a human again.What I was using as a Hail Mary last resort has turned out to be better than I could have imagined. Candice Cullen: After mainstream medicine failed horribly, I received exceptional and effective care and information for the management of blood pressure, and relief from serious complications from multiple cancer surgeries. My body's response to acupuncture makes me very sorry I didn't incorporate it into my wellness care decades ago. I hope more people will give this a try as opposed to toxic chemicals with often more side effects than the symptom they are prescribed to mitigate. Erin Mac: Do not allow him to adjust your neck. He cracked my neck and put my atlas out of alignment. The day after the appointment I had extreme vision changes, blurred vision, dizziness, numbness in my hands and feet. I went back to him and he said nothing he did could have done that. I believed him and went on a medical journey that lasted a whole year. After I went through CT, multiple X-rays and no one could find anything. I saw a neurologist, neuro-opthamologists, physical therapists, osteopathic manipulated medicine specialists, no one could figure out anything until I finally found a professional that figured out my atlas was over corrected and I had a traumatic brain injury from the first chiropractic adjustment. I went through a year of unnecessary radiation, pain, and an inability to work because of his negligence and I am still not healed. I would give 0 stars if I could.I now suffer from difficulty swallowing, balance issues, vision issues, numbness in right side, my body forgets to breath sometimes, and tremors due to a serious brain injury from this adjustment. Please save yourself the pain and go somewhere else.

I have been suffering from debilitating lower back pain after an aggressive fall and I couldn’t get an appointment with my regular chiropractor. I have been calling around all morning and finally saw their number come up. I called and the girl who helped me on the phone was so sweet and accommodating. She got me an appointment within twenty minutes of my call and was so empathetic of my pain. I was helped as soon as I arrived. There were no xrays required and minimal paperwork. Dr. Doug was unbelievably kind, knowledagble, approachable, professional and effective. He immediately found the source of my pain and dramatically reduced it in one adjustment. I feel so lucky to have happened upon his practice and I plan on making it a part of my regular health care. He just truly was so amazing.Even the gentleman that helped me as I left was so kind.
