David Gourd: Vegan and gluten-free. Delicious vegan Ethiopian food and gluten-free if you order the 100%teff injera. The restaurant has not been updated, but the prices are good and the owner is friendly.Vegetarian options: Completely vegan restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Completely gluten free if you order the 100% teff injera.
Brittany N. Scott: Lived in GR for 3 years and been trying to find a favorite restaurant. This is it! Delicious food, not a long wait, friendly staff.
Emily Lynn: CASH ONLY establishment.Other than that, everything about this restaurant was SO GOOD. I got the two person platter and the sever was so accommodating by asking if we liked spicy foods or not. My friend did, so there were a couple of options that were spicy, but not overly spicy. More on the mild side.I'll definitely be coming here more often when I can. It's well worth trying out.

Michael Eyde: As a non-vegetarian myself, I can honestly say that the soy curry left me not missing the meat. The bread is simply amazing and the staff is sweet and attentive. Definitely will be back.
Nefertiti Clay: I've been there often. Never disappointed
Preston Parker: Very delicious and filling food, tasted as great as it looked. There was only one worker when we visited and she did an incredible job, was polite and worked as fast as she could. They're tea was likely the best I've ever had, and they had great mango juice as well. We bought their coffee grounds which we'll try tomorrow morning. I would definitely recommend trying this place and leaving the worker the big tip she deserves.
Brett McDowell: Amazing food. All vegan options, and I believe it was cash only while I was there. So plan ahead on the cash. That said, even if you aren't vegan the food here is top notch. The place could use a little sprucing up, but didn't feel dirty or uncomfortable.Highly recommended!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes 2 Person Combo Platter, Injera Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking …More

Herbal Tea: LOVE eating here! The flavors are amazing. We always order the platter and enjoy the variety of flavors and textures. Been eating here for over a decade. I love eating vegetarian or vegan so this hits the spot for me. The food is consistent and so delish. Always leave STUFFED and HAPPY :) The Ethiopian tea is so yum! I can't enjoy it as often as I would like since caffeine keeps me awake and we always eat here at dinner time. Must stop for lunch to enjoy the tea too.
Emily: The combo platter (a good amount for two hungry people) and tea were absolutely incredible! Best eating-out experience I've had in a long time.
Abi Papala: Loved this food, I didn't know the food serverd was vegetarian when I went in. but, the taste exceeded my expectations.
Alanah Rau: The food was absolutely amazing! Visit Little Africa if you want authentic Ethiopian cuisine and warm service.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian/vegan!
Roberto Camarena: Vegetarian options: I tried the spread of different yummy items!
Danny Rico: Phenomenal. This place is perfect. The environment is super low-key, and the service is warm and friendly. The food was outrageously delicious and at a great price. Go for the combo platter, it’s amazing! There’s a reason the reviews for this spot are so good. Believe the hype!Recommended dishes Combo Platter …More

Sarah Mania: Went here on a Saturday night at 6:30 and were seated immediately, though most tables were full. No loud music and very spacious for a small restaurant. Two in our party were familiar with Ethiopian food and two weren't. Such an enjoyable dinner! The combo platter ($12.50/person) was the perfect amount of food for four people, and everything was delicious. The tea was super flavorful. And they now accept credit cards! I would happily return again next time I'm in the area.Vegetarian options: Every dish is vegan and well-seasoned.
Jessica Angst: Our first time here and we would very much recommend!! My boyfriend and I popped in for lunch and got the plater to share along with coffee and tea. Everything was so good and the service was great too, we will be coming back when we’re in town again.
Terrie Wierenga: The food is so good. Best Ethiopian place we’ve eaten at including Chicago. Our favorite restaurant in Grand RapidsRecommended dishes 2 Person Combo Platter …More

Dj H: Vegetarian options: There were lots of vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: There was a little girl there that seemed to enjoy her food and was laughing a lotParking: There is a small strip of parking spots and a small lot nearby that had one spot open. On the weekend it is pretty busy in the area, with a popular breakfast restaurant right around the corner.

Rebecca Martin: We’ve come here a handful of times. Love the platters. Everything has been great.
Aristiaa Nguyenn: And I would come here AGAIN! I was bored and wanting to do something, or treating myself to a meal so I decided to go here. It was nerve wrecking because I was alone and also in a place I have never tried before, but the lady who helped me was so welcoming that I felt at home. The service is top tier, the lady was kind enough to suggest the dish and showed me how to eat the proper way which made me felt so included. I got the sample one because I wanted to try a bit of everything and it was amazing. Portion wise, BIG (for a person maybe). I usually eat just a little but and got full right away, but if it comes to good tasting food, gosh darn that day I almost ate the whole plate. I lovee this place so much and would come back to try other dishes on the menu. The mango juice was good too (and A LOT).
james: WOW…… they put essence in the foods, smelly delicious
Terri Seadorf: My favorite restaurant! Delicious food, friendly service, and great atmosphere. Thank you for such a warm welcome. Easy parking for the area.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Brenda Gagnon: Wonderful food, excellent service. I highly recommend. Loved it for the first and second time I visited.
Nicole Foxx: Vegetarian options: Only a few pieces of meat with the family platter. Mostly injera bread. No kitfo or cheese. Stingy with meat. Family platter does not feed more then 1.5

Beth Engelsma: Best Ethiopian food we've had!
BM Fitzsimmons: Amazing food! Owners are incredibly kind and welcoming and have done an amazing job with the atmosphere of the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back! The samplers are delicious and the lamb dishes are delectable as well.
bread: Very authentic. Very Savory. Some of the best peppers i’ve ever had, I recommend this if you are looking for african food.
KENZIE MACDOUGAL: This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids. The owners are very friendly and the food is fresh and delicious.
Covey Bonnema: I love this restaurant one of my favorite response in the whole wide world and the people that are very kind they're loving and welcome there good place to me hang out feels like home.
Leanne: What a lovely little restaurant. It's nice to have tasty vegetarian places to try.
Jason Stiles: I really enjoyed my experience at Go Jo. The staff was really nice and the food was excellent. We got the super vegetarian combo and it appeared that everything was made in house and very tasty. The coffee with accompanying incense was an interesting event. The decor is utilitarian but with an Ethiopian theme and the tables have glass tops with embroidered weavings. The biggest negative is that the restroom has a truck stop vibe and should be addressed. I'm shocked that the restaurant was empty when we came in for lunch on a Saturday as the quality of food was fantastic. It was a fun time and I'm looking forward to going again.
CC: Great food, the chef is fantastic

Chandler Marble: This place is not a restaurant, it is a second home. Outstanding, and amazing!
Pain Dudester: Easily on par or better than what we've had in Chicago. This is family made, authentic Ethiopian cuisine that you will not find elsewhere in Vegas. At present, menu is a little limited because they are new, but I will personally be coming back to ensure they grow. Remember that this is authentic, so while not spicy hot, it is spiced well with rich aromatic scents that hit you the moment you walk in. I recommend this place Highly.Vegetarian options: Lots of options and vegetarian platters also that easily match what the meat eaters can orderParking: Easy strip mall
